we need to pay attention to it. i don't think joe biden needs help lowering the desperate cries of the american people right now. they see the left and what is presented and the right, voters do. they'll be very clear about what will it take to turn around our country, to secure the border, to help the economy? a third party candidate won't scratch that itch. usually these things fizzle out. history has borne that out. i think it will happen again now. what i would watch is how the left is using election law changes like the support for rank choice voting in some states begins to confuse voters about how they are supposed to go about their election process. these two things the rise of rank choice, the third party will muddy the waters, if the republican party was smart and double down and make sure it's easy to vote, hard to cheat and people have a clear pathway to vote. >> sandra: senator manchin says it's about voters having

government. the lab did receive, though, $1.4 million in u.s. grants between 2014 and 2019. but since the start of the pandemic, the lab has come under increased scrutiny because of the controversial gain-of-function research done at that lab and the suspicion that covid leaked from it. the suspension of funding comes as we learn several top scientists who publicly denied the lab leak theory actually believed it was possible, if not likely. that's according to new messages released by independent journalist matt taibbi and others. >> the top advisors to anthony fauci misled congress last week when they claimed that what they were doing was science. the messages show they were engaged in politics, they were responding to what they called higher ups, pressure from their bosses and openly working to deceive reporters.

north korea that the united states obviously is a nuclear power but demonstrating visibly for them to say it is a nuclear ballistic missile submarine. we haven't parked one in south korea in 40 years. the primary reason is to establish deterrents. we want north korea when they look south to not even think about going to war because it would mean the destruction of the regime. the second reason here, too. because of north korea's belligerence through the years we want the people of south korea and their military and government to understand they are under the nuclear umbrella of the united states much as japan is under that nuclear umbrella and don't want them to have any doubts about it. there has been some talk in the south korean government about acquiring nuclear weapons themselves. we don't want that proliferation to take place. that's a very effective message, i believe, that is being sent by the united states. >> bill: the u.s.s. kentucky

donald trump surprised that. he needs to be in the ring defending the title. a big mistake for him not to be there as much as conventional wisdom suggests his lead might big him not to be there. he thrives off this kind of attention and i think if he came and blew everybody away as he did in some of the first few debates eight years ago it would shut things down. i hope for the sake of his and others he shows up not only to address primary voters but in wisconsin's case hillary clinton made a big mistake eight years ago in the general election after losing the primary she didn't come back. she lost to donald trump by 23,000 votes. i don't think he wants to make that same mistake with voters here in wisconsin. >> bill: biden campaign spokesperson, you have the debate in milwaukee, then the convention in milwaukee a year later. much like cleveland from 2015 and 2016. he said one year from today republicans will wrap up their convention in wisconsin miles
