will take care of all those issues through his dad. the f.b.i. has a problem with this going public. do you? >> no, i don't. because the f.b.i. should have been looking into this long ago. what we have now seen, if you go through the durham report, what mr. zeeger and mr. shapley testified to yesterday in front of ways and means a few weeks ago, the fact the oversight committee investigation into the money flow from china, from ukraine, from romania, and there are other countries coming forward, our house investigation matches what the i.r.s. international tax fraud department was investigating. and all of this is matching up. the last thing that is also matching up is that you have political holdovers of political appointees at the department of justice who were obstructing justice so that this matter was never brought to the light of day. last thing, you also have our current secretary of state who led this letter of 51 people in

our intelligence community who said that the hunter biden laptop story was russian disinformation and we now know that's a lie. so i think the f.b.i. has nothing to stand on as far as i'm concerned. this form should have been released to the public long ago. >> dana: the f.b.i. statement so we have it on record here saying we have repeatedly explained to congress in correspondence and briefings how critical it is to keep this source information confidential. today's release of the 1023 at a minimum unnecessarily risks the safety of a confidential source. i wonder if you have any indication how long did they think this could go on? because the investigation has been goinging on for so many years at what point does that confidential source still risk safety? >> we believe the confidential human source who the f.b.i. themselves has said is highly credible, who they themselves have said they've been using for

multiple years, that source might be doing other things, not just with the bidens. so i'll leave it at that. i think that's why f.b.i. has that view. >> bill: just back in june about a month and a half go, roll this. the president was asked about it. >> allegation congresswoman says there is -- >> president biden: where is the money? i'm joking. it's just a bunch of malarkey. >> bill: you are pushing for an impeachment. would that be a formality knowing it wouldn't move anywhere in the senate? >> it opens up the actual truth of what has happened in this situation. we know -- i will go back to the durham report and why it was so important from john durham and his team. we know there are elements of d.o.j. that have proper tekted hunter biden, jim biden and the president of the united states joe biden.

they were protecting him when he left the vice presidency and protecting hillary clinton, by the way, when she was in the middle of her shenanigans and the essence of a two-tier justice system in america right now. i will tell you that if house republicans, with all the evidence and all the facts don't move on this, what you are saying to these bad actors in our government and to the american people that if you are in the right political party and the right last name you can do whatever you want and no one will hold you accountable. >> dana: people can remember the impeachment of president trump that they did in his presidency. for an impeachment of d.o.j. officials, what does that look like? >> well, the actual practical pathway for d.o.j., i will leave that to chairman jordan and the judiciary committee. it would move through there. what i am looking for and we'll

go to get is the deputy attorney general lisa monaco, what and when did she know. was she signaling people not to move forward with investigations? who tipped off the secret service detail around hunter biden when the i.r.s. wanted to question him. did merrick garland stop weiss from bringing charges in the d.c. and california circuit? it looks clear to be what's going on. if they obstructed justice, if they stopped the investigation or stopped charges coming forward that's high crimes and miss demeanors. joe biden, that's the one a lot of people are talking about. what did the white house counsel's office know about the treatment of hunter biden? when did they know it? at that point if the white house counsel knows, you know the president of the united states knows. >> bill: all good questions. might be very difficult to get the answers but we'll see whether or not in time that happens. thank you for your time. byron donalds, the republican from florida.

investigation tells fox news investigators believe at least one of the three murders that wrecks heuermann is charged with happened inside the family's home behind me. police have the street blocked off today. look live at the fox news drone. prosecutors believe that multiple victims disappeared from massapequa park where we are. for an eighth day investigators with going through the family's home inch by inch collecting evidence. the d.a. is pushing back on the conclusion that heuermann murdered women inside the home. he tells fox news, quote, the locations of the murders were never specified. at this juncture, if any law enforcement officials are saying anything con contrary to that they don't know what they're talking about. as for heuermann himself. he is being held without bail in the correctional facility. suffolk county deputies say he

passed away. he had a timeless style that spanned decades. lots of collaborations that young people might be familiar with, work with the likes of frank sinatra and lady gaga. he said his life long ambition was to create a hit catalog rather than hit records. he released more than 70 albums bringing him 19 competitive grammys. no word on the cause of bennett's death. his career slowed down once diagnosed with alzheimer's in 2016. he passed away here in new york city. he was 96 years old just two weeks shy of that 97th birthday. >> bill: that relationship he had with lady gaga at the end of his life, a friendship and introduced him to a second or third generation of americans. new york city was his home although he sang about san francisco. new york city was his home and

knowledge that imagery. it has gone too far. >> dana: what do you make of all this? >> my answer to that is try that in a small town. ultimately these are communities that support each other, that understand their own rights, and they support law enforcement. and so if you sucker punch somebody as it says in the song or you carjack an old lady at a red light or hold up a liquor store with a gun there might not be cameras on every street corner but people who know each other and who know the cops and authorities. if you pull a gun in a liquor store in a small town you probably don't get to the cops. the second amendment exists in small town america. then you have sheriffs and cops who are actually arresting perpetrators, prosecutors who will prosecute them who won't let them out and bail and get a maximum sentence so there are real consequences. jason aldean has his finger on the pulse of what people see and

street journal." what do you make of this on its face? >> i would say the electorate is up for grabs in terms of looking at young people and do we want another choice? let's face it, we don't always get hamilton or jefferson. whether they talk about president or your local city counsel. you look at the two likely candidates right now, they both have very high unfavorables, you look at the inroads that kennedy and marian williamson have made. democrats may be looking for another view. trump with very high negatives as well. >> dana: we had the poll call for number two shows that people don't feel that great about a biden/trump rematch. 33% of respondents have a favorable view of trump. 32% biden. 31% neither of them. you factor that into this poll that bill mentioned, what is your name again, bill? that people are interested in a third party.

the thing is that you can talk about these things and joe manchin can go up and do an event in new hampshire and no labels can get moving and yet these things always seem to stall out disappointing people. amy walter of the political report has been tweeting caution from thinking a third party will emerge. one of the big issues is ballot access. you have to actually be on the ballot. no labels is working on that but not quite there yet. >> it takes a lot of organization and money. you think about third-party challenges. typically they've succeeded mainly in a spoiler role. democrats angry are nader in 2000 and republicans ross perot. the perot example, very-well funded and successful executive, and he got 10 to 15% but couldn't get over the line. >> bill: karl rove is writing about this.

week, not the fox poll but it came out this week and had some interesting looks at this where both trump, as you would expect among 18 to 29-year-olds add high unfavorables. biden is also under water. when you look at approval rating right now, biden's approval rating among 18 to 29-year-olds is worse than overall. this is supposed to be his core. this is how he got elected in 2020. and they are going away from him. the pollster harvard one of the rival networks talking about how there is this shift among -- basically warning democrats saying black and hispanic 18 to 29-year-olds are moving away from the party. not massive and a lot of them are becoming unfilliateed or independent and why people are looking at this as a specific biden problem. his election depends on overwhelming victory among yack

>> bill: so we have breaking news with regard to former president donald trump. the judge in the case, eileen canyon out of fort pierce, florida has set a trial date for the 20th of may. a good six months prior to the election in november on november 5, 2024. the president and his team are arguing they want to punt this thing past the election. you could argue now if you're within six months after than election and get close and file certain motions you might be able to get your wish in the end. it's that close. >> dana: what she did is split the difference, right? the prosecutors were asking for the trial to go much sooner.

the trump -- the trump team was trying to get it farther past. she has been under the gun, right, as a judge. people are questioning her loyalties, not her capabilities but her loyalties because she was appointed by trump. this is now set for may 20th. we'll see if it holds. six months before the general election date, quite a ways after super tuesday when republicans should have a pretty good idea who their nominee will be. >> bill: we'll have other cases before that as well. they will pop up whether in georgia potentially or here in new york. in this particular matter, trump faces 37 counts that include 30 violations of the espionage act over allegations of withholding documents with regard to national security. that's the allegation. he was keeping at mar-a-lago and was not either negotiating in good faith with federal authorities or conceding to their demands and turning back over to the national archives.

killed in the line of duty in january of that year, 2022. rivera had been serving as an officer for just about a year and now one organization is here to help his family. the ceo and founder of tunnel to towers. frank siller. what are you doing for her family now? >> we have a miracle here, a real miracle. you see how dominique was, she spoke there. on the one-year anniversary of detective rivera's death they were back in st. patrick's cathedral celebrating his life. she was pregnant with his child. they froze his sperm and now she just recently gave birth to their miracle child wesley. and it's a miracle. we remember back in december 20th, 2014, when detectives were assassinated.

congress is aiming to ease your airport struggle. more from ronald reagan national airport. whenever washington says they'll help i'm skeptical. >> yeah, i don't blame you, dana. that seems to be the track record. typically the faa reauthorization bill is a run of the mill process happens every five years. this time around it is taking on extra significance because of those mass delays and cancellations that are plaguing the airline industry. in a rare showing of bipartisan unity this week the house passed its version of the reauthorization bill. it includes provisions to better provide refunds to passengers caught up in flight problems. hire more air traffic controllers and raise the retirement age for pilots from 65 to 67. >> america still is gold standard. we have serious problems that need to be addressed. this bill starts that process of addressing some of those
