fun, right? well, i actually do have a boyfriend. >> bill: there you go. >> dana: mission impossible that's what we do every day. >> bill: have a great weekend. >> dana: harris faulkner and "the faulkner focus" is next. here she is. >> harris: fox news alert. for months committee chairman pressed the f.b.i. to hand over a critical document. is it the smoking gun in the gop-led investigation into joe biden and his family allegedly taking money for favors? not only did the gop get that f.b.i. document, now we have it. i'm harris faulkner and you are in "the faulkner focus." the f.b.i. form known as fd1023 details conversations between an f.b.i. source and a top ukrainian energy executive.
8:01 am
it alleges the bidens took millions of dollars in exchange for promoting the interests of that ukrainian executive. the form is loaded with information on the ukrainian energy firm called burisma without any correlation, mysteriously hunter biden sat on the corporate board at burisma. no correlation of experience to do that. in the f.b.i. document, burisma ceo tells the source he has quote, many text messages and recordings to show he have was coerced to make such payments to the bidens, to the tune of $10 million. i.r.s. whistleblowers claimed just this week that hunter biden, family members and business associates received more than $17 million from business dealings in ukraine and other countries. republicans say they will dig deeper. >> democrats can yell and scream all they want about gee, there is nothing there. there is something there.
8:02 am
a lot of smoke coming out of that white house now and we need to keep on investigating it. joe biden is compromised, then this country is in dire straits. >> harris: top oversight committee democrat jamie raskin arguing republicans don't care about the accuracy of these allegations, evidently their political utility. let's see about that. republican congressman andy biggs who sits on the oversight and judiciary committees is in "focus." we begin with fox correspondent rich edson. >> good morning, harris, white house officials are dismissing the claims in this document. they say republicans are reckless and partisan for even releasing it. the white house spokesperson tells us, quote, these claims have reportedly been scrutinized by the trump justice department. a trump appointed u.s. attorney and full impeachment trial of the former president that centered on these very issues and over and over again they have been found to lack credibility. it is clear that congressional
8:03 am
republicans are dead set on playing shameless, dishonest politics and refuse to let truth get in the way. the four-page document contains unverified accusations from a confidential informant about hunter biden's business conduct while serving on the board of burisma, ukraine energy company and while joe biden was vice president. among the accusations burisma officials kept hunter on the board because his dad could offer the company protection and another, a suggested payment of $5 million to each of the bidens as the company tried to get ukraine's top prosecutor removed from office. these claims are unconfirmed. the f.b.i. says the release of this form at a minimum unnecessarily risks the safety of a confidential source. republicans claim hunter biden is skirting justice. >> the democrats want to talk about oh, the two-tier system of justice is racist in america. hunter biden is the ultimate white privilege guy here. >> bill: comer of the
8:04 am
republicans are intensifying their investigation into the biden family business. they are hoping to interview officials from the i.r.s., f.b.i., and the department of justice. harris. >> harris: rich edson, thank you very much. president biden has repeatedly denied being involved in all this. watch. >> are there tapes you accepted bribes, president biden? is that true? >> president biden: where is the money? i'm joking. it's just a bunch of malarkey. >> harris: he has time for jokes. the "new york post" front page is calling the bidens bad to the bone. fox news contributor miranda devine writes in the post the joe biden bribe allegations need a special counsel now. in "focus" republican congressman andy biggs of arizona, member of the house oversight and judiciary committees. great to have you in "focus" now
8:05 am
to get us started on this. first of all, the sort of surprise and explosive nature of the fd1023, the f.b.i. document. your top line thoughts. >> well, this gives you two things that are very important, number one gives you a quid pro quo with joe biden actually receiving money in exchange for engaging in a corrupt practice to get rid of a ukrainian prosecutor using u.s. dollars at blackmail. that's the first thing. the second thing is the f.b.i. sat on this thing and did not even give it to the i.r.s. investigators who were investigating hunter biden receiving millions of dollars of money, payment of some kind from ukraine. they sat on it and did not allow them to have this. so you have a couple of things going there. you have the substance of the allegation, then you also have the obstruction by the f.b.i. into the investigation of hunter
8:06 am
biden. >> harris: obstruction is a legal word. i have think now that america has seen what's in that fd1023 -- by the way, rather lightly redacted compared to what i was expecting. there is so much information in that form. so what's next? are there legal teeth to all of this to hold people accountable, people at the f.b.i., the bidens, family, what's next? >> well, a couple things can happen. we could go into a special counsel, but that's not going to be helpful necessarily. that is controlled by the investigators who we found to be somewhat corrupted or corruptible. so the next thing is you can move into an impeachment inquiry and gives congress more teeth to actually get more investigators, more subpoena power and go through and just add to this. but here is the important thing, harris. this fd1023 corroborates all of
8:07 am
the information in the transcripts from the i.r.s. whistleblowers that they gave to the ways and means committee because they -- the investigators themselves believed the term big guy referred specifically to joe biden. even the assistant u.s. attorney and other supervisors also believed that it was dad, which was joe biden, was engaged in these operations, these businesses. so you've got a lot going on there but it all ties joe biden right into the hunter biden illicit business scandal. a more focused special counsel. >> harris: we have him on tape so many times denying knowing anything. you also get him in, you know, possibly obstruction if he didn't tell the truth about those things. we don't know what we don't know yet. you know more than i do, obviously. you mentioned impeach.
8:08 am
would you impeach the sitting president over this if it came to that? >> well, probably yes. where it sits today i'll tell you why. there are at least 7 or 8 additional things that joe biden was involved in hunter biden's business, and this provides the quid pro quo. there are 17 of them, tapes. f.b.i. redacted originally when i saw the document. the point is, you have a series of different witnesses, whether it's rob walker, the ausa, whether it's ziegler and the other whistleblower shapley, who basically said they believed it was joe biden that was involved here and that leads us to move to an impeachment inquiry. that's really the first step is so you flush it out a little bit more. >> harris: i want to get to this
8:09 am
breaking news now. thank you for breaking all that down. a florida judge now has set the date for former president donald trump's classified documents trial. it is set for may 20th, 2024. that is apparently to start this december and the defense asking to schedule it after the 2024 election. smack in the middle of that. your take. >> well, i mean, if you look at the underlying prosecution, harris, looks to me like it is a very political operation. again disseparate treatment between joe biden and donald trump. joe biden couldn't take any documents out at vice president. the clinton case. it looks to me like a political prosecution. it will be coming smack dab in the primary season in some states. and it is going to -- may have an impact on the election. that would be the third election in a row that you've seen the
8:10 am
police state apparatus actually interfere in our election. >> harris: i have to tell you americans, when they say they have a low percentage of support for the process, don't trust it, now you understand why. three elections where people maybe feel like they didn't get all the facts they needed to make informed decisions. we'll cover it as it happens. i want to get to something we've been covering on the "focus" all week. i have to tell you, when we got to the 19th day in your state with that punishing heat wave affecting 120 million americans across several states i never thought we would be at a point where we're counting it in phoenix in material, congressman, three weeks above 110 degrees. active alerts, heat wave hits the united states is on our giant wall. as you mark 22 days, temperatures above 110, your
8:11 am
nighttime temperatures are hovering in the 90s. i just want to know what can we do to help? tell us what is happening in arizona. >> well, fortunately in arizona, people who have been here know how to deal with the desert heat. this is a bit extraordinary for sure. but what we're doing is you are seeing a lot of water stations come up. people are being recommended to stay inside, stay out of the heat where possible. and -- but i will tell you we're fortunate in arizona that so many of our citizens understand and respect the heat and they know how to deal with the heat. but in reality, it's a dangerous thing that we -- water is the key. they tell me beer is for drinking, water is for fighting. i don't drink beer. i drink water. we have to protect the water supplies here. it needs to go to the people
8:12 am
that are in distress. >> harris: looking at this, i've learned more about the city of phoenix than i knew just in full disclosure my husband is from that state. a home in scottsdale. you have an encampment of homeless people like san francisco. 3,000 people in it. thousands of homeless in your state that i wasn't even aware of. but that's a particular area that they are looking at. people are perishing as they try to make it outside, 118, 119 degrees. your last quick thought. i know politics have to come into that. how do you deal with this? >> well, that's been set up and in downtown phoenix area. they have to make sure that there is adequate water. being outside when it is 118 and cool down to 90 is a very dangerous situation. so it is dangerous for the homeless. i will add one more thing. it is dangerous for the thousands of people every day trying to cross the southern border because it is not just in
8:13 am
arizona that's feeling this heat. you have to respect that our border patrol is trying to provide adequate safety and rescue services for the people coming across risking their lives. >> harris: pray all the time for that situation. i can't even imagine what it is like. i was there when it was 100 degrees. this is something else. congressman, thank you for being with me on several topics today. really appreciate your time and expertise. >> thank you, harris, always. >> harris: we pray for everybody in the heat wave, 120 million people across several states. a new report says the white house is making special accommodations for president biden's age. but his friends in washington, d.c. keep insisting you don't need to do anything, don't worry about this octogenarian.

city. bennett was diagnosed with alzheimer's in 2016. yet continued to perform and record through 2021. a gifted and accomplished interpreter of the great american songbook he may be best known for his signature hit "i left my heart in san francisco." bennett's career spanned eight decades. in 2011 at age 85 he became the oldest artist ever to enter the billboard chart at number one. recent years he performed with lady gaga. they became close friends and toured together after his alzheimer's diagnosis. bennett won 20 grammy awards, two emmy awards and a kennedy center honor was bestowed upon him. moments ago his official twitter account posted this. tony left us today but he was

still singing the other day at his piano. his last song was "because of you," his first hit. tony, because of you, we have your songs in our hearts forever. he is survived by his four children and his wife, susan. they were married in 2007. frank sinatra called bennett the greatest popular singer in the world. that's high praise indeed. music icon tony bennett was 96 years old. president biden's age has been a major concern ahead of the 2024 election cycle. some top democrats are trying to downplay those worries. here is nancy pelosi. >> age is a relative thing. it is -- i think this president, our country is very well served by his leadership, again his experience, his knowledge and it accounts for a lot.
8:22 am
he is younger than i am. >> harris: "politico" with the headline biden down plays age talk but subtle accommodations are being made and what those accommodations are. he has skipped three dinners with foreign leaders in the past year. one at the nato summit just last week. he has been seen looking for casual in sneakers, like yesterday. that's kind of hip. after tripping up on air force one steps many times, he has been using a shorter set of retractable stairs to get on and off the plane. the white house press secretary with a familiar answer when she was asked recently. >> i don't have any decision to walk through. i'm sure there is a protocol we use for air force one. i don't have one. >> harris: sometimes they will use the shorter stairs in inclement weather. the power panel now.
8:23 am
garrett bentley, advisor to senator grassley and david car lucci former democrat state senator from new york city. garrett, i want to start with you. sometimes they'll use those special devices for people to walk on so they don't fall when it is raining or snowing or whatever. but now they are literally fixing the ground that the president walks on so he doesn't fall. >> yeah, joe biden has a lot of issues going into 2024. if you look at even just the polling, how he is handling issues, his popularity with voters is a problem. as we get closer to the election more and more voters are concerned about his age. it isn't some vast right wing conspiracy. republicans are concerned about his age and stamina to do the job. independents are but 43% of democrats, half of democrats are questioning his age. i think the reason that is because he is giving ample reason for people to question it. when you are falling up the
8:24 am
stairs, when you have are in public and, you have know, he was overseas having weird interactions, smelling a child. he have is not appearing before press. he is not interacting with voters. he have is hidden to delaware and the white house mostly here. that's the problem that they aren't quashing any of this here. so again going into 2024 he has a lot of issues whether it is his handling of the economy, more and more voters continue to see him interact, more and more continue to question his age and stamina for the job. almost half of democrats are questioning it as well as republicans and independents. >> you are in good political shape when your opponents have to attack your shoes and the type of steps you take out of a plane. this is a bad political strategy. i wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing republican presidential hopefuls put in their platforms they'll remove the stairs and put in a
8:25 am
fireman's pole to show their athletic ability. it's about being the best president of the united states. not about competing for the olympic gold. look, just next week we'll celebrate the americans with disabilities act, 33 years. that's legislation that acknowledges that people with disabilities don't lack opportunity or capability. they only lack those opportunities when we don't have -- >> harris: wait a minute. i want to pause there. are you saying that the president being an octogenarian is some sort of disability? my grandmother passed three weeks shy of 101. her age wasn't a disability. i don't hear anybody saying that. they are talking about -- the question is whether or not he has the stamina to do a punishing schedule of the president of the united states. something that my grandmother, nor yours or anybody's on here would be faced with doing, let alone in their 80s. >> if it means more comfortable
8:26 am
shoes. >> harris: i don't know why you would bring that up. it wasn't part of the conversation. >> if we talk about wearing comfortable shoes or having different steps into the air force one, that's what is being criticized and that's what i'm defending. >> harris: tripping over sandbags that were a couple inches between the flat surface he was walking on and to. so it is fair that they would -- might want to make it easier for him. we have seen him falling on other things. i don't know, garrett. what is your take on calling it a disability and seeing david jump to the protective gate like every other american with a disability. >> yeah. so i would say that's something i worked for senator grassley. he is an older senator but no one questions his stamina and ability to do the job. wakes up at 5:00 in the morning and runs six times a week. better than i can do at 36 years old. i don't know where we continue to get this.
8:27 am
43% of the democratic party are questioning his stamina and ability to do the job. this is not just some republican talking point. you have democrats and "politico" article his own staff admitting they are doing this because there is continued concern about this. so again this isn't some republican talking point over here. it is independents, democrats. they are also worried about his ability to do the job. >> harris: for you to bring that up, david makes a heart felt thing to do to give them a shout for all the struggles they face. i don't think it belongs in this conversation with the president but we have space and grace in our hearts for all of them. >> i hear about the sneakers. you will see a lot of people wearing the air bidens. >> harris: you lost me at the batman pole. a big admission on china homeland security secretary mayokas saying beijing bears

responsibility for the fentanyl killing hundreds of americans every single day. but will that translate into action? and this. can you have censorship at a hearing on censorship. the democrats cried. >> no allowing a witness -- it violates the rules and not have his testimony and degradation amplified. >> harris: what explains the venom and vitriol for rfk junior. we'll get into it. steve hilton in "focus." so glad to see him. this is spring semester at over 13,000 us school districts, which have become top targets for ransomware attacks. but there's never been a reported ransomware attack on a chromebook. which is why thousands of schools

democratic presidential candidate robert f. kennedy, jr. from a hearing that was going on, on government censorship. kennedy has claimed that his views on covid mandates and vaccines have been censored on social media and beyond. here are the dems at that hearing. >> executive session mr. kennedy repeated anti-asian comments. >> so much additional time. why? why? why are you doing that specifically for him? >> no to hate speech. >> put five minutes on the clock then, not ten. >> watch the time for all the witnesses. >> if you want to censor him so more you are welcome to do it. >> that's not my job. that's your job. >> harris: it got nasty. when we caught up with house democrats after the hearing, they denied any of that was happening. they said they didn't try to censor him.
8:35 am
>> that's not censorship. he can speak. i'm not afraid of anything he would say. i don't want to hear him. >> i don't think he is being censored. >> you don't think -- >> censor him. we were trying to make sure he didn't cause more harm with his outrageous testimony. >> harris: a new op-ed with this headline, dems love censorship so much they do it at a censorship hearing. steve hilton, fox news contributor. what played out with rfk junior fighting for free speech. >> my own reaction beyond the specifics of what was at issue here is that you watch these hearings nowadays, the congressional hearings as my teenage kids would say, it is all so cringe. they are so deeply unimpressive. and debbie wasserman schultz there, worst of them all.
8:36 am
objectively embarrassingly partisan hack. these are supposed to be the people grappling with the big issues that are in front of us as a country and this is how they behave. it is just ridiculous. rfq junior specifically. go on. >> harris: based on what you just said it was like a whole forum of cancel culture. >> exactly. it was ridiculous. the real heart of it was something he said. i will read the quote. it is so important and central to all of this. he said quote, misinformation is information that is true but inconvenient to the government. that really captures what has gone on here. i think it was especially the pandemic that accelerated this. if you look back over those years all the things we were saying that were labeled misinformation by big tech and by the biden administration, whether masks, lockdowns, the validity of vaccine mandates on the basis that vaccines don't --
8:37 am
all of it was called misinformation. all turned out to be true. all the things they were saying about masks and vaccine mandates and all the rest of it, everything they said was true turned out to be misinformation. so you are in this topsy-turvy world and the democrats are completely on the wrong side of that because they are now the party of censorship and pretending that black is white and today is monday and you have to believe it and we'll force you to believe it even though everyone can see it's all a load of rubbish. >> harris: they don't want to negotiate and debate. if they aren't willing to do it at a publicized hearing with a member of their own party i wonder what it's like behind closed doors for republicans trying to get things passed. >> yeah. this is what is unbelievable. you can't have a real conversation when these people don't accept basic facts.
8:38 am
actually what is even worse about it is the gas lighting. at the same time behaving like this they are the ones lecturing everyone else about the truth matters and democracy dying in darkness. it is laughable. in the end it is serious. these are the people that we trust to actually deal with these big problems that we have. how can you do that if you can't actually trust them to take the truth seriously? >> harris: if hypocrisy were only a precious metal we'd be wealthy. the fentanyl craves is is getting worse. the biden administration has been criticized how much of the drug is flooding across our southern border with mexico. homeland security secretary mayokas is blaming china completely for the epidemic. >> china, the precursor chemicals, many of which have legal use, the precursor

chemicals. pill presses used to manufacture fentanyl is extremely easy to manufacture. extremely quick. it is easy to conceal. >> harris: is that why he doesn't have to do his job? go out and find those 85,000 migrant children misplaced by his dhs and federal government? the cdc estimates near 110,000 drug overdose deaths in a recent 12-month period. 80% of those deaths attributed to fentanyl. california, florida, texas have the grim distinction of being the top three states for overdose deaths in the crisis. all too real for florida congresswoman kat cammack. >> my husband, matt, is a first responder, a swat medic. he responds to overdoses virtually every shift that he works. take this back in china where the precursors for fentanyl are being manufactured you have 160 factories designed to do nothing but manufacture precursors for

fentanyl. the white house issues crack pipes in san francisco. nothing more than an effort to make americans dependent on big government so that they in power can maintain control. >> harris: getting a lecture from the dhs secretary at this point, mayokas, about where fentanyl predominantly is produced is a little late in the game to start pointing fingers at china. i'm so glad we sent john kerry to take care of everything -- not. >> exactly. it is so infuriating. you've got this guy, by the way, this is so typical of the biden administration on every issue. for years they deny there is a problem. then much too late they blame someone else. meanwhile don't do anything at all about it. we've been saying for years the chemicals originate in china shipped to mexico and through the totally open southern border. we've been saying it for years . finally he gets the china part. what are they doing about it? first of all what are they doing about it getting across the
