pete: jet you heard from joseph ziegler and the irs whistle blower that came forward and his boss had come forward publicly previously and he testified, joseph ziegler, before congress and talking about his attempts to investigate hunter biden and his tax malfeasance were blocked, slow walked, time and time again. he's a career irs agent as is -- was his boss and he just said, hey, we didn't get a fair shake to investigate someone committing willful tax fraud and it was shannon bream in for brett on special report and asked him about the authority chain of p who was making decisions inside this investigation. here's what he had to say. >> the fbi investigators we were working with and us within the irs, we were frying to phygoyuri colins out how do we get an -- figure out how to get an independent attorney assigned with authority to the investigation and no one knew what to do to bring that issue

up. that's frustrating at the end of the day and like we said in our testimony, that was probably one of the first times where we knew there was some sort of influence that was coming into the investigation. i was removed from that team ma. i have no idea what's going on as far as that investigation goes. i have stated multiple times that i don't want to see other agents, fbi, irs go through the same thing we went through. if there's other charges that are venued outside the district of delaware, david win back-to-backs will run into the same problem again and again and that's why we need to have an independent attorney assigned who has authority and can go in and bring the proper charges to be faith restored in our justice system. rachel: right. joey: i don't think that's going to happen. i don't. i don't think that's going to

happen. really what they're doing is you have two folks saying david win back-to-backs told them one thing and told everyone else -- david win back-to-backs one one- david win back-to-backs told them one thing and told everyone else another. rachel: ziegler comes from a conservative family and ended up being a democrat voter, and -- all though he says that he didn't vote in the last election because he wanted to -- he knew this case was in the early stages and he didn't want to do that. the other guy on -- sheply on the left of your screen, he came from a democrat family and he now is a registered republican. he says he's not super political. never had a sign in front of his house. never gave money to a campaign. in fact he said his mom found out through the news he

registered republican and wasn't very happy about it. most importantly if you listen to their testimony, you get the sense that these are exactly the kind of government worker bureaucrats that you want in these kinds of positions, people who are going to put, you know, not look at the politics but just look at the case, wanted to pursue leads that were really obvious and pull at those threads, were blocked at every moment and again, seeing the way they're treated makes you wonder if other whistle blower wills go i don't want to risk doing that. pete: exactly. they lost their jobs and they're being treated -- we're giving them a fair shake because they deserve to be heard and the rest of the media is -- you saw democrats in the hearing making them look like they have an ax to grind or shouldn't be coming out and speaking publicly. they didn't want to come out. they said they want to find out if you paid your taxes or not and whether you're a famous rich person or joe shmo. this case it was hunter biden

and they emphasize that willfulness is important and had evidence after evidence after evidence that it was willful that hunter biden knew he was supposed to pay taxes on this and he didn't and yet they got blocked. joey: the stronger the argument sounded from the whistle blowers, the more they tried to accept what they were saying but tried to explain if for them. what you mean is this is investigators and prosecutors seeing it differently. they're almost telling the whistle blowers what you actually saw and heard. they're trying to explain it away. i don't think the american people will fall for it and the question is what's next? what comes after the hearings we just had? we had john levine on new york post columnist on for the next steps for the whistle blower allegations and he was on earlier. >> it's the credibility that makes it so powerful and career irs people in the case of ziegler, he's been there a dozen years and lead investigator on the hunter biden irs probe. he is a democrat. he has nothing to gain professionally from coming

forward like this and everything to lose as he himself said. they eluded to a 99 page charging document that the department of justice produced arguing that hunter biden should be charged with felony tax crimes. where is that document? they said david wise tried to be elevated to a special council. what paperwork was generated in that effort? that's something that congress has to get ahold of and we have to see. rachel: credibility of irs will be really important moving forward. you mentioned i was back in wisconsin. sean and i ran into someone we know saying armed irs agents showed up at his house and then he had to get a lawyer. long story short, they said oops, sorry, wrong -- once me had a lawyer. they said oops, sorry. why didn't you just send me a letter? i'm saying the irs is an agency that can be weaponnized and thanks to the hiring of armed -- 80,000 new armed irs and the fact they're advertising positions asking if people know how to -- that they're going to

be using guns and so forth. this is an agency you want to be impartial and fair really important that we not let these whistle blowers hang in the wind that we get to the bottom of this case and that we also bolster people who are willing to come forward when there's corruption. pete: yeah, and if what we're saying is rack rat, it's the felony -- accurate, there's the felony charges and that wouldn't be snuffed out for you. moving to another topic and it's really dominated a big part of our cultural conversation. as we went from lgbtq+ issues to trans issues to then those issues in school, we've had to grapple with the idea that young kids in america, teenagers in america are grappling with their gerund identity and being transitioned to another gender at a very young age. that polarizes people and you're tell ago kid that either through

chemically or physically to change their appearance and gender sometimes without parents knowing it. now come to the flip side of that, you'll have a good chunk of those kids saying, wait, i was confused at that age. i don't want to be -- i was a boy and then i game a girl and i don't want to be a girl. i want to be a boy again and that's de-transitioning and fox news did an article about some of the kids de-transitioning and what they're facing and the first one we'll mention is coby who went from a boy to girl and de-transitioning back to a boy. here's a portion of what coby said on that de-transitioning, watch. >> so i was very feminine growing up. i liked barbies and pink and everything like that. if i was never indoctrinated to stuff, i would have stayed a feminine boy. i was expecting it to help me help my mental health and it didn't do anything. i just wasted so much time and

all i did really was become a medical patient for life. pete: a medical patient for life. rachel: many people saying by the way based on that that the pharmaceutical industry is very much behind this because of that. once these kids transition into another sex, they do become a patient for life for the pharmaceutical companies. i want to get to a clip really quick of another young woman. she became and boy and now wants to go back and be a girl. these are just such painful stories. joey: neither one of these people became something else and just attempted to do it. rachel: that's a fair point. listen to cholee. >> i was only told by the first endocrinologist i was referred to that by being on blockers, it could potentially be dangerous for my brain development, but i never heard the same concerns from any other doctors. once i got to the point they started seeking surgery, nobody ever pushed back.

i mean, they -- my parents thought if i weren't allowed to go through with the procedures, i would be -- i would commit suicide. before i transitioned, i was a perfectly happy kid. i mean, i was socially awkward. i was a bit of a tomboy and i kind of struggled to fit in with other girls my age, but i was starting to be able to make friends of my own and be able to focus on my school work by myself. and transitioning began to take all of that away from me. i only started being suicidal once i was on these treatments. rachel: she had a mastectomy and can't breastfeed and she's losing her fe fertility. joey: the hate-filled hypocrisy. the young man said i was a feminine guy. that's what i was. i was feminine as a guy. she said i was a tomboy. if you're all about acceptance and gender norms aren't for us. why would you attack those two things?

you know, the conversation has gone from are men allowed to be feminine well if you're a man and you're feminine, you better become a girl. it's going stronger away from what they say they're for. and this bothers me so much. i've learned in the last couple years how much body chemistry is important and going through something like the trauma of being at war and getting blown up can change your body chemistry. and how much pain is associated with that. that physical pain i've gone through because my own, you know, my own levels weren't where they needed to be. and learning that doctors are like oh, here, just take this. inject this. take this. oh, you don't feel like you're getting this, here's ten more things to take. i felt worse. you know, so if i can do that as someone that's been through puberty and a fully matured male, what is it doing to kids? what other things -- when you put somebody on hormones, what is it doing to cause them physical pain and to say that's the only way. rachel: it's causing early osteoporosis and all kinds of

medical psychological issues but again, just the thought of a child making a decision that will affect their fertility for the rest of their lives is just astounding and by the way, i really encourage everybody to go online and look at what the surgeries actually look at. look like. joey: he said i'm a life-long medical patient. rachel: when i saw the pictures, it's fertilizer fioing. pete: it's staggering and hard to look at. rachel: you should because we need to know. pete: you should. we look back at slavery and jim crow and racism. i hope we look back 20 years from now and go how in the world did we live in a moment where we were letting 11, 12, 13 year-olds tell us what gender they are and medically perform surgeries on them that can never be undone. it's barbaric and i hope we look back on that and problem is you've got kids right now going through it. we're not being begin good consultation. rachel: there's a clip that went

viral this week and speaking to that point where a woman said part of the reasons why it's going to take longer to get to that point that you talk about where we go, whoa, this is crazy is that so many parents are complicit and so many through manipulation and your kid will commit suicide and it's hard to face what you let your child do and they sort of have to buy into this because it's too painful to admit they did something -- allowed their child to do something horrific. joey: don't let your own insecurity stop you from protecting your child. that's what it is. don't let your own insecurity on are you going to be attacked for not doing that protect your child. this is not a lack of empathy. absolutely empathize with a young boy or girl confused and it's about looking ten years down the road and saying is

they say who allowed them to do this to me, to destroy me like this? there's such regret. rachel: what a contrast between joe biden and donald trump on this issue. pete: yep, he's spot on. a few additional headlines starting with this. one soldier is killed and five others hurt in an accident on a texas army base yesterday. officials say atactical vehicle accident happened in a training area at ft. bliss in el paso. they didn't release any more details about what happened. army has not released the name of soldier killed or how serious the other injuries were. three house republicans pushing to censor congresswoman jiyapal for calling israel a racist state in last week's remarks and gop lawmakers behind to long history of anti-israel remarks. jiyapal's office has yet to

could they possibly get from this? >> please. motivation? look at her post. everybody wants to be loved. really? everyone wants someone to care about them. a desperate plea for attention. she's been fired from her upscale spa that tells me they don't believe her. she's caught on video stealing a lux robe and toilet paper. i guess to get her through. for now they're going to be looking at any other post and texts that were sent during her disappearance and i guarantee you they're going to end up finding her shacked up order room service and remember she's the one that made that call from the red roof in dragging her family over to find her before she shows up on foot at home. curb service from a kidnapper? that did not happen. let me just tell everybody, this is a misdemeanor that's punishable up to a year whined bars and $6,000 fine.

discovered the body of a missing 2-year-old swept away with her 9 month old brother. brother in where you rushing waters and the children were swept away with their mother when overwhelming water swept the car they were traveling in and the mother was one of five confirmed dead in that flooding and officials say they'll continue the search for the nine month old baby today. michigan governor gretchen whitmer getting praised for her governor barbie campaign. whitmer and her doll, lil gretch. former white house press secretary jen psaki calling the idea cool and empowering. the governor saying come on barbie, let's go govern with pictures from around the state house. not a fan of governor whitmer, but i have to say i like the barbie aa or as degree. i love barbie.

confidential human source and it talks about the relationship that joe and hunter biden had with the ceo of burisma and his last name is lachevsky and a portion of the document and 1023 released to the puck lick and ceo burisma stated he didn't want to pay the bidens and he was pushed to pay them. he said he has as many text messages and recordings that shows he was coerced to make such payments and 15 recordings of hunter and joe. they told the ceo source cost $5 million to pay one biden and $5 million to another. guess who the two bidens are. and the ceo of burisma had a certain view of hunter biden as well. saying hunter biden was stupid and his dog was smarter. so everything will be okay. they were paying for political cover from the bidens because they wanted access to the energy markets in the united states or at least oil and gas leases, and they thought the bidens were the

way to get it done. we know a lot more about how that happened. joining us is former direct tock of national -- director of national intelligence, john radcliff. john, this is stunning stuff. it was redacted heavily and some members of congress and we're able to see this 1023 with some huge claims that cries president and vice citizen using that power to enrich his own family. does this get further traction at any point? >> well, it should, pete. you're right, it is stunning and it's damaging and in so many respects both with respect to the bidens but also with regard to the fb and i recollects how it's been handled and so specifically as i reviewed this. the thing that stuck out to me were three words on fd23 and the three words were the big guy and confidential human source on

this form was a conversation that took place with him and he described this bribery scheme to the bidens and careful not to make payments directly to the big guy and, pete, this document is dated june 30th of 2020. it wasn't till five months later that the hunter biden laptop story surfaces and tony bobulinski talks about one of the e-mails on the laptop describing a different riboreigns leading -- bribery scheme and the common denominator is saying hunter will hold 10% for the big guy. pete, half a world away, different trans-accounting standards boards and people that don't know each other -- transactions and people that don't know each other describing the same type of bribery and corruption scheme and using the term big guy joe biden is --

would be an astronomical coincidence and in terms of legal investigation, these would be corroborating factors and as bad as that all may seem, we're really getting troubling in the fact that these two documents, fd1023 which really corroborates what's in the hunter biden laptop and the laptop that corroborates what's in fd23, these two important pieces of evidence, neither one was shared with the fbi by the lead criminal investigators and heard from the whistle blowers that both said under oath they didn't have access to either one of these two key pieces. pete: how do you explain that away? >> you can't, pete. the irs has criminal investigators but they work with the fbi and we've heard lots of testimony about the fact that they should be working hand in glove with regard to this and in

this case you had these documents that were under oath, both whistle blowers testified that in september of 2020 he asked to see the laptop and was refused and they both said they aren't seen the fd1023 and what's more troubling and congress and something's rotten in denmark and i don't lose site of the fact and it's not coming to life to the department of justice because republicans are in control of the house. pete: you're right, they're so scared because of donald trump. these recordings you make it and do you think something like that could make its way around.
