are only four full-time biden campaign staff members. and they are definitely running the operation out of the west wing, which you got to wonder if that is a violation of the hatch act and also at the dnc. and the dnc is doing a lot of the heavy lifting. but, when you look at the amount of money and we have got a graphic during the second quarter, when barack obama was running for president tirntion he had already spent 11 million bucks. trump in 2019 had already spent about 11 million bucks, so far, in 2023, joe biden has only spent a million dollars. so, if he is running for president, what is he waiting for and i know that a lot of these stories, about you know, he is not running it's because they compare the biden administration to the obama-biden administration and what they did when they were in the white house. completely different. >> i guess you could pontificate it has to do with president trump waiting to see hot

potential frontrunner for the republican party if he will have legal troubles that stops that franklin county the matchup. i think they do feel good about president biden and president trump matchup. i don't think they feel good about president biden going against anyone else. is he in good enough health to do this job four more years? i think that's the real question that is fair to ask and not being judgmental of him or his age buff what we see in front of him. >> steve: absolutely age is an issue. >> ainsley: and former western diplomat that talked to nbc as well said physically he is quite frail. he falls off his bicycle or whatever. he doesn't have the stamina levels of obama or younger president. people worry about his physical frailties running from age 82 to 86. can he beat trump? we know he can beat trump because he did before they are thinking. but, on the republican side they are say going trump gets indicted some times either is he going to run. he will probably continue to run. is he getting so much support. if, for some reason, he can't

that we have, which will be an expensive to our financial statement. and make things very difficult. that's a lot of wages and 22 people we have that's a lot of wages to be accruing for if they don't use it. or they use it and it still cost you this money. >> joey: pat, i know y'all have started this business didn't take paychecks for a long time and invested everything you have in it. when they are talking about seasonal employees, do you all have part time or seasonal employees that also could qualify for. this no we do not. >> no. >> go ahead, pat. >> everybody is full-time. >> joey: i guess when i look at the reasons you could get this time off and jeralyn, i will send this time to you, adoption, military deployment of a family member. domestic abuse or stalking. i mean, it sounds like some of these are things or, you know, paternal leave, it seems like

some of these are reasonable reasons to need time off. how do you all handle it now with your business? >> right now, we -- i try to work with our employees, give them as much time as they need. we try to incorporate a generous pto policy to help with that, too. but now, if it's 20 weeks and they can say 12 weeks for one issue and back-to-back say 10 weeks for another. it's just crazy. >> joey: up to 20 weeks. clean-up is a long time especially what blows my time is part time or seasonal workers. when you look at state legislators. people created this law what should they know about owning a small business before they pass stuff like this? >> pat? >> i think that they should all, every one of them in office should own a business, a

successful business before they are elected into office. they will get educated real quick. >> joey: jeralyn what would you say to those state representatives that have pushed this law? >> oh my gosh. there are so many things i would like to say some of them are not fit for tv. but, yes, how do you expect a small business such as ours, we have 20 people, how do you expect us to pay for this? and have an employee, then pay an employee to come in and subbecause it could be up to five months. and then what then do we do? do you go temporary? do you go -- i mean, there is a million different roads but, then again, if it's going to be a tip employee, temporary agency is going to charge us for the cost that they incur and it's the same cost we are incurring.

shoot. your baby was here brock was here. >> carley: we shot this while i was still on maternity leave i brought brock with me i was really nervous because he was about three month old. did he a good job. thank god we had folks watching him so we could shoot this cover. the back cover is fun. it was the weekend crew on it. let's get to the at a it ter to it casserole it's in the book. it's more like putting things together rather than cooking it's very impressive and delicious. so you start with tater tots and put them in the bottom of the casserole dish. par bake them put them in the often for six minutes and move over to breakfast sausage cook it about six minutes put some onions in it and wait until the onions are translucent and go over to a dozen eggs. >> you are going to beat those eggs? exactly a dozen. and then what you do, after they are all ready to go, you put.
