embarrassed said, well... this is still an active investigation and still may be charged for a few things. hunter 'lawyers said, there is no deal. all hello hell broke loose. how do both sides have a plea deal that blows up in the first five seconds. this sweetest of sweetheart deals was agreed to a month ago and i do not think they put any of it in writing. it was more of a handshake deal. a lot has happened since then. when news of the deal broke, even the mainstream media said hunter was getting home cooking and immediately after to go highly credible irs whistle-blowers came forward and detailed a five year justice department conspiracy to obstruct the case against the bidens. tip-off's, roadblock, special treatment beard prosecutors weren't allowed to clack down the crack open the laptop. on top of that, fbi in forming a

ukrainian bribed joe biden, and not only that, there could be tapes of joe biden demanding bribes. and on the last second twist, house speaker kevin mccarthy signaled that an impeachment inquiry is looming. delaware prosecutor thinking himself if i go forward with this sweetheart plea deal, i'm part of the cover up. if they have impeachment hearings in the house, they are calling me in to testify under oath about how my office obstructed justice. this plea deal already half-baked made with a wink and a nod couldn't survive the scrutiny and an open court room on the heels of this explosive developments. believe us. hunter's team did everything they could to resuscitate the plea today. they went back into chambers scrambling. but the judge wasn't putting up with of hunter biden's hail marys at this point especially after last night's shenanigans when hunter's legal team caught

team caught impersonating a republican lawyer, calling the courthouse trying to pull the irs whistle-blower testimony from the docket. a dirty trick. hunter's legal team already on thin ice. the deal was already teetering. all it took was a public hearing and a little shame to have this thing torpedoed. this judge isn't buying the white house defense that the hur was a victim of addiction not responsible for his actions. the judge asked if hunter was sober when he was dodging taxes in 2018 to 2019. the years he was there to plead guilty to do and he said, yeah, he was sober. so hunter either lied to the judge or he was actually sober and fully cognizant when he was signing fraudulent tax returns. there goes the drug excuse. this judge also asked the prosecutors were looking into hunter biden being a foreign agent. illegally libeling on behalf of foreign nationals. biden's justice department said,

defense official christopher mellon joined me now. what else can you tell us? >> a couple of things are clear from the hearing. first over all, our military is encountering vehicles that far surpass the capabilities of our own frontline aircraft. they are operating on a persistent basis and restrictive military airspace but sometimes they are jamming sensors on our aircraft. obviously this is far more concerning than lumbering the chinese balloons. this is something that we have to get to the bottom of. other thing i would say it's very clear from the hearing today that there is a great deal of information that the government is still not sharing with congress. the only question is how much information, how sensitive is that information. >> are they not sharing it because they want to rip off the text to other countries can't have it, or they just do not want to scare us? >> it's hard to say. i do not know the answer to that

question. in terms of the workforce, there is a sense of denial going on. there has been in the military for a long time. generally pilots don't report these things. when they do, people do not want to hear it, they do not want to talk about it. nobody wants to engage on this topic. however it is also clear that at least at a senior level there has been more investigation. there is more investigation that has been led on. there was a discussion of subpoenas today. i think that is appropriate in this context. we learned today that they are withholding the satellite imagery, for example, which we knew existed because president trump's director of national intelligence acknowledge that we had that. here we are years later. that still has not been shared with congress. so there is an example of critically important information. >> jesse: it is more than that now, chris. but it's now and not just ufo technology. they are talking about the
