walking on the shoulder and shooting the gun into the air. police were able to talk her into dropping her gun. luckily, no one got hurt. even highway patrol say they have not seen anything like this. they said, we are grateful no one was harmed in this incident. officers got her to drop her weapon and take her into custody. i don't have another incident to compare this to. the woman was put on mental health hold and will be booked when released. the incident closed traffic for an hour. >> todd: there is ha, ha, part of it, but people could have died. imagine driving with your family and see this. >> carley: this story is hard to react to on the news, it is

before her 15th birthday. she left a note that said, i ran away, i will be back. i'm sorry. she walked into the police department asking to be removed from the missing child list. officers say she left on her own and is not in any trouble. >> carley: the conviction of bowe bergdahl has been thrown out, military judge who presided the case failed to say he had applied for immigration judge, creating an interest. bergdahl walked off his post before being captured by the taliban. he was freed in a prison swap. bergdahl pled guilty to desertion in 2017, dishonorably discharged and fined $10,000. this will be hard for a lot of

people, especially the military, to swallow. his original sentence was viewed as light because it didn't include prison time. one person who searched for him was shot in the head and 10 years later died. he pled guilty to desertion. what happened here, he got off on a technicality because a judge threw out his 2017 conviction saying the original judge that presided failed to disclose we planned to be an immigration judge. he was convicted and dishonorably discharged, rank reduced. appears it will go away. >> todd: you did a nice job, focusing on bowe bergdahl. i want to focus on law.

read what reggie walton said, the judge, making this ruling about the potential bias. this case presents situation where military judge might be inclined to appeal to the president's expressed interest in the plaintiff's conviction and punishment. i am worried that we now have assumption that judges can't be impartial anymore. you see this with regard to the supreme court. you see this with regard to every court. i don't think 20 years ago, a judge would have made this ruling or issued statement like this because assumption you as a judge, justice is blind and justice does not know party. this is concerning there is expectation if you are appointed by a certain person you will rule accordingly. >> carley: former member of bowe bergdahl platoon who said that bowe bergdahl should be
