welcome everyone and this is america's newsroom. it has been a week of escalating legal peril for both president biden and former president trump on wednesday. they refused to sign off on the plea deal for hunter biden and the legal problems are not inching closer to the white house. >> a former business partner is expected to testify behind closed doors on monday. sent to tell them that he put his dad on the phone for dozens of business meetings which would fly in the face of what the weather has been been saying for years. >> meanwhile, former president trump is being hit with three new charges, this is part of the classified documents case among the accusations that he tried to erase the security footage in a way to obstruct the investigation. >> mic stands by with analysis. reporting on the trump matter, and in the white house, and that is where we begin this hour.

mark, good morning to you. >> happy friday, president biden is yet to weigh in on the developments on his son or the possibility of the talk on congress held that might lead to impeachment inquiry. he ignored questions from reporters, but the white house insists that the case remains a private matter. you may remember the plea agreement between federal prosecutors and hunter steacker team fell apart after a judge appointed by former president trump question if theo much immunity or protection from further prosecution there still is an ongoing investigation into his overseas business dealing, the white house insist they have nothing to do with this and are keeping their hands off of this. and the president was never involved in the dealings, but in a surprising twice the white house also ruled out the possibilities of ever helping hunter expunge his name. >> from the presidential perspective was there any possibility that the president

how does road america read what is taking place with hunter biden in this case? >> well, i think every american can see pretty clearly what is happening here. there was an agreement between two parties that would not not adversarial, and they cut a deal that they hoped they could keep quiet with that were sufficiently vague, that the biden team could get, they get they could get what they wanted which was immunity from prosecution, and the prosecution could get plausible deniability and saying they can never promise that. and the judge got right to the heart of it with that simple question, have you ever done anything like this before? and can you cite a president for what you just uncovered the prosecutor under oath said in front of the court had to admit that now he had never done anything like this before. i think every american frankly not just road america can see that that is unjust and unequal that these parties would not actually negotiating but working to undermine a justice system and that is deeply
