it's been a bit longer with biden. biden. when clinton was impeached, it was a once in a century thing. rachel: they did it twice with donald trump. these are real crimes, i think this is what we really have to focus on, these are real crimes that endanger our national security and if it doesn't -- i understand that point. if it goes nowhere, why put myself out there. why are we going to waste time in congress going through the process and yet people have lost so much faith in the system and so many believe there are two tiers of justice that what else can we do? will: and i agree. i think that we're talking about the fact there's not a single democrat right now, not one, not one in the house, not one in the senate that showed the slightest bit of curiosity regarding this, these potential crimes of joe biden but if comer continued to put together the case for the american people, in a way that

on covid and a lot of people want to close the book on covid and yet more and more things are coming out. here's what the headline says. it says wuhan lab leak suspicions, anthony fauci and how the science was silenced. here's dr. robert cadillac, former assistant secretary for preparedness and response at the u.s. department of health, this is what he told the australian, the newspaper. he said i think tony fauci was trying to protect his institution and his own reputation from the possibility that his agency was funding wuhan institute of virology researchers who beyond the scope of the grants received from the national institutes of health may have been working with people's liberation researchers, the communist, on defensive coronavirus vaccines. i think it's evidence from his e-mails he had more sense of what his institute had funded at that moment. this was a reputational risk to

continues and then secondarily, the lengths to which our government will go to hide from us the truth. and in this case, they hid from us the truth for a couple reasons, one was fauci's reputation. two was his c culpableity, our government's culpableity in funding the research and three so china wouldn't run off and play defense, they were hoping to get a sample in the early days. regardless, we were not allowed not only to hear, we were not aloud to speak the truth. rachel: because it didn't come out at a that moment when they knew. the article said they knew within days when they were having this discussion. it's not like -- they knew exactly what happened and had that come out, just think how it would have changed the course of even lockdowns, because so much of what we did depended on the fact that anthony fauci told us he was science and his

color from around the world, whether it was the carribean or africa has happened for many, many years, long before this but the fact that it now -- that human trafficking now knows no gender, no age, no ethnicity, it is a part of our -- it is like i said the number one human rights issue. that brings it to the forefront of the conversation and worldwide so it's not a surprise that this movie became popular or that it's such a hit because now people are identifying human trafficking as more than just sexual exploitation. rachel: senator johnson is calling for hearings because as you know our bore disopen and -- border open and our government lost track of 85,000 environment who you can imagine are vulnerable for falling into this kind of situation that is so tragic. so what kind of conversation -- i mean, we have -- you know,

pushing for these senate hearings, that's obviously going to be important but there are conversations being had in our country. what should nose conversations look like? what can we do at this point after seeing this film? >> first of all, i think it's most important that people are truly informed about all forms of trafficking because for so many years human trafficking was just considered as sexual exploitation. we know now human trafficking is so much more than sexual exploitation. we have to really identify all forms of human trafficking and those include organ donor, involuntary organ donors, sexual exploitation of course, pornography but we have to look at child soldiers and child brides, how they relate to our modern times and our inner city situations with children, adoption, how some of those have been used by trafficker as well.
3:46 am
and then of course there is labor trafficking and labor trafficking being the number one form of trafficking based on international labor organization statistics. labor trafficking is number one. so those conversations need to include not just sexual exploitation but it needs to include all forms of human trafficking and i think the other piece that needs to be discussed is how do children end up being enticed and involved, we need to look at different types of social media that are being used by traffickers to entice and recruit children especially and also the politicians have to begin and legislators have to begin to look at not criminalizing the victims. so often victims are criminalized themselves and in my case, but so often victims are criminalized, we forget to look at the backside of human trafficking. i think all of that needs to be
