4:38 am
people typically do that is to try to exhibit that they are trying now to turn a new page in their lives and be as cooperative as possible. i just don't think he is going to get that relief from the justice department. last week, when hunter biden had the failed plea, they filed a statement of facts that was the background to those two cases. now, the house investigation is operating on the theory that they were trading on joe biden's political influence. these payments are basically bribery. and they needed to hide the source of the payments, which is why you have nonpayment of taxes and all these, you know, labyrinth payment channels or money channels they put the money through. if that is the cases why would you as the justice department did sign off on a statement of facts that says the reason all the money was coming in is because hunter is a very high-end sophisticated lawyer who had high end clients
4:39 am
internationally and domestically and why would you, if you think that they're hiding the money because it's bribe money, why would you say in a statement of facts that hunter didn't pay his taxes because he was drug-addled. they signed off on the justice department has signed off on a statement facts that is completely the opposite of what the house's theory is. >> will: right. i can't imagine the doj is going to reward testimony that is harmful to the bidens. that would being a big zig to the historic zag of the last couple of years. really quickly because i'm over time here, andy. let's just say that devon archer is a patriotic american motivated to tell the truth. what would be the most damning thing in your estimation he could say today hey, i was there. i saw it. i saw that joe biden did a quid pro quo with ukraine or china? >> yeah, sure. he could say that kind of thing. but i think, given where we are at, will, he could also say by the way, i was put in the grand jury a week or two ago and they didn't ask me any questions
