shakes. state of emergency as the storm moves north. meteorologist adam klotz has the forecast. no longer a tropical storm, it is post-tropical storm phase. >> adam: yes, continuing to weaken storm, we knew this would happen. only means we lost five mile per hour wind speed temperature is down to 35 mile per hour wind speed. moisture dropping across nevada and california, that is this system, it will still cause flooding. lifting up to nevada, heaviest showers in front of this, the worst across southern california. wind totals across desert southwest, slightly higher elevation ranging from 85 mile per hour to 65 mile per hour for peak wind speeds, that is enough to do damage. rain has been the big story. rainfall totals over the last twour hours, plenty spots

getting over six inches, that is enough to cause flooding as all the water is ush aring down stream. areas in los angeles county, every green polygon is a flash flood warning. heavy showers are to the north and ground completely saturated, that rain is causing problems. more rain lifting to the north, heavy showers across nevada and northern portions of california and we could see flooding in oregon and idaho before the day is over as this system continues to drag north. flash flooding possible across the reinion through boise and montana. it will take until tomorrow morning for the system to clear off and should continue to dry air across southern california for the rest of today. this has been a big, powerful storm, there is still time to track it. if you are living there in los angeles and san diego, you are

who will be talking about as the breakthrough candidate and why? >> sure. i think nikki haley and tim scott have the opportunity to breakthrough on the debate stage. not necessarily as presidential candidates but to show why they would be the best possible vp nominee. vivek is the guy i'm going to be watching. i was with him last week in the united states fair. abolishing the fbi, abolishing the department of education. is he just not all talks. he cited u.s. code and legislation why he would support that i think we will be watching him. obviously desantis is the candidate of the night that gets bashed and bashed and bashed. that will be his chance to flip that around and get poll numbers through the roof. if he fails again wednesday night, this could be the nail in the campaign coffin and see the end of the desantis campaign. we will see what happens. >> carley: kelvin, quickly to you we have about 15 seconds left. actually, just give your overall thoughts, who are you most excited to see on the debate stage. >> at this point, i think that
