>> sean: hurricane idalia is now a cat two hurricane barreling toward the big bend area of floridians -- of florida in the northern part of the state. fox's weather bryan norcross monitoring idalia as it heads towards florida. he joins us right now with the very latest. ride, we expect landfall by the morning and i know a lot of tampa friends of mine, they have been evacuated. it looks like it might be going a little bit north of that. but they are still going to get

hit hard, are they? >> you, the core of the storm s going to go north of there, sean and it is going to be really bad like the water. 50 feet above normal high tide and in the tampa area, it is not going to be a worse case. but it still is going to be elevated water and we think that they will be flooded. here is the latest information. 105-mile an hour winds moving north now at 16. it will pick up speed a little bit as we go at it is going to get more intense as we go through the night and this is the pressure that we watch. the lower the pressure number, the stronger the storm and there you can see an eye popping out very clearly. when the eye pops out, especially when it is a small eye, that is a sign of rapid intensification. so we are expected at least a category three with this in a category four is not out of the question. here is the radar coming out of tampa. it is very clear there. there is the eyeball. it is well offshore. but that was coming around the storm like this, our -- it is

vulnerable. the fact of the matter is they are best taken care of by the parents. these policies presume that all of these kids come from homes that are abusive because the parent might not immediately affirm a boy who says he wants to start wearing a dress to school because his art teacher told him that it was appropriate. but that is not obvious. you're supposed to have questions. you are supposed to talk things through. and when the kid is taking advantage of by these teachers and push to win into a certain direction, that teacher is not going to be there for the kid. the parents will be there. the parents are the ones that love these kids and any policy that gets in the way, i think is dangerous. >> sean: and the sad thing is that they feel so superior to the left, in their views that they think it is their moral duty and their -- they are indoctrinating these kids and then parents seem to now have fear instilled in them, pam, because, what, are they going to go to a school board meeting, speak out, and be investigated

all right, buckle up. they want you to mask up again. covid protocols coming back with the uptick in covid cases. the mast mandate slowly making a comeback in institutions. that means business, that means schools. but if the left is truly following the science as they like to keep reminding us, they should take a look at this study which found that wearing masks does not stop the spread of covid as well as the new study out of south korea which has evidence that wearing certain medical grade facemasks may actually expose people to toxic compacts. here is a reaction fox news contributor dr. nicole safire with us. schools, now corporations, now joe is talking about a brand-new vaccine that i am pretty certain that he is going to tell us is safe and that he is going to

14 days. this makes no sense, sean. any benefit happens after 20 days. by the way, that benefit is negligible if anything. lions gate headquarters out in la say if you are on the third or fifth floor of the building you have to wear a mask. but they don't mention anything of the elevator, lunchroom or any other floor. the on and off of the mask wearing is not going to help. when you have these absurd mask mandates, it really continues to erode public trust. then again than be less egregious do have some hospital systems bringing back mask mandates. i get it you have a higher risk population there. what i find interesting, sean, new york hospital systems in february 2023 removed at the mask mandates. now some new york hospitals are bringing them back. february 2023 when they remove the mask mandates hospitalizations were twice what they were now. we need to keep covid in reality. we are seeing a rise in cases. but hospitalizations are a third of what they were at this time last year.
