is happening with parents in their home. that is why so many parents, sean from going to charter schools and private schools because ridiculous laws like this are going on and it has no basis. what if a child brought a hair when we go to school in his or her backpack? would you tell parents that? what if a child had suicidal thoughts? what if a child told a teacher that they believed they were sexually abuse? they are not going to told her parents? they are treading on very dangerous ground here by saying that the child has the right to piracy and the parents do not know what is in the best interest of the child. >> sean: all right, will take, jason. >> i think at the end of the day, there's a clear battle between these educators and parents and there are many kids who go through some kind of gender confusion. but i would assume a lot more now because of all of the gender identity extremism that educators are pushing on these kids. and they are particularly

vulnerable. the fact of the matter is they are best taken care of by the parents. these policies presume that all of these kids come from homes that are abusive because the parent might not immediately affirm a boy who says he wants to start wearing a dress to school because his art teacher told him that it was appropriate. but that is not obvious. you're supposed to have questions. you are supposed to talk things through. and when the kid is taking advantage of by these teachers and push to win into a certain direction, that teacher is not going to be there for the kid. the parents will be there. the parents are the ones that love these kids and any policy that gets in the way, i think is dangerous. >> sean: and the sad thing is that they feel so superior to the left, in their views that they think it is their moral duty and their -- they are indoctrinating these kids and then parents seem to now have fear instilled in them, pam, because, what, are they going to go to a school board meeting, speak out, and be investigated

and be impossible -- be a possible domestic terrorist? >> yeah, absolutely. that is what the left is doing. and i think what he was referencing with the art teacher, a case, in colorado, sean. two little girls were kept after school for an art class and they were trying to convince them they were transgender. and one of the little girls tried to kill herself. the parents found out and we are suing the school district in colorado. that is how dangerous what the left is doing, it can be to our children. this is not about lgbtq. this is about parents deciding what is best for their kids. >> sean: yeah, how about teaching them reading, writing, math, science, history, computers? let's stick with the basics because they are feeling spectacularly on that level. in may, pam, thank you. coming up, a mask mandates about to make a comeback. covid protocols on their way again. some art now calling for them yet again. another shut down.

talk about this being a pandemic of the unvaccinated and shamus. here is where i am. my advice to everybody out there is talk to your own doctor and take into account your medical history and condition. i'm never listening to these people ever, ever again in my life. period. they were so wrong the last time. thoughts? >> you have great advice to always talk to your doctor should be based on individual risks. whether we are talking about mask wearing or the updated booster that will be available this fall. ultimately, sean, the broad use of mask mandate has not been shown with all the data to really reduce cases over the last three years. you don't have to take my word for it. even "the new york times" has reported on that. unfortunately you still have certain institutions that are bringing the mask mandate bass because you are seeing a rise in cases just like we have seen every august in the pandemic begun. you have the morris brown college saying mask mandates for

14 days. this makes no sense, sean. any benefit happens after 20 days. by the way, that benefit is negligible if anything. lions gate headquarters out in la say if you are on the third or fifth floor of the building you have to wear a mask. but they don't mention anything of the elevator, lunchroom or any other floor. the on and off of the mask wearing is not going to help. when you have these absurd mask mandates, it really continues to erode public trust. then again than be less egregious do have some hospital systems bringing back mask mandates. i get it you have a higher risk population there. what i find interesting, sean, new york hospital systems in february 2023 removed at the mask mandates. now some new york hospitals are bringing them back. february 2023 when they remove the mask mandates hospitalizations were twice what they were now. we need to keep covid in reality. we are seeing a rise in cases. but hospitalizations are a third of what they were at this time last year.

we need to move forward on an individual risk assessment. those who are higher risk and those who want to wear a mask, wear a mask if you would like to. when it comes to boosters, talk to your doctor is. masks for all our boosters not for all. >> i thought the one therapeutic that i saw the biggest results having anecdotally in my world was the monoclonal antibodies. why did they stop producing those? what do you think of paxlovid? we have about 25 seconds. i was a huge fan of the monoclonal antibodies as well. unfortunately they became less effective as the virus started to mutate and the variance went around. paxlovid i had a lot of hesitations for it. i don't think it's a miracle drug and it's not being over utilized. >> you do? but couldn't they make new monoclonal antibodies specific to whatever variant we are currently having? >> yeah, they certainly can. but unfortunately this virus continues to mutate.
