we know what the people want. americans tell us what they are thinking. whether we want to hear it or not. everyone has a platform. everyone has a voice. it can be measured. and it be listened to. because of the communication revolution americans can speak for themselves. we know when we are being ignored. majority of the country want safe streets and cheaper food and gas and better stores. why don't we have these things in a democracy? we hire people every 2 to 4 years to do what we tell them to do. it's because direct democracy is dangerous. people are too busy taking care of themselves to take care of us. they will have trouble reckoning with us if this goes on for much longer.

california and san francisco are still the launchpad for politics. why did the judge say you can't clear out the open air drug homes campus? >> this was crazy. they appealed in the ninth circuit court. the judge said they could not clear the homeless encampments. the reason was they need to have much nicer places for papal to go. it's not good enough to have a shelter -- there needs to be private rooms or private apartments to bring their lovers or pets? >> jesse: with real estate the way it is? >> it's ridiculous. it appears the appeals court will overturn it. the law doesn't allow that. it's typical of the chaos and misunderstand driving this. not sensitivity to what people are experiencing on the
