on america's newsroom weekdays from 9:00 until 11:00. former secretary of state condoleezza rice whose own story personifies what good education can do called it a national humiliation. for wants she wasn't talking about the haircut. what she meant was that if we keep going as we are, the great american experiment could fail. historically, america's education system has been one of the shining lights of our country. for over 150 years people would crawl over glass to get their kids into american schools. and it continues, except today they are crawling through the gaps in the border wall. is that still the case? let's look at the national report card. reading and math are down for eighth graders 4% and 9% respectively. the numbers for history and science are just as bad. add that to chronic absenteeism which is defined as missing 10% of school or more. in baltimore, for example, chronic absenteeism was at 23% in 2016. 36% in 2020.
8:03 pm
last year it was 58%. 58% or as baltimore teachers college, almost have. 58%, harold ford has a better attendance redder than that. same with joe biden and everyone has noticed it. [ yelling ] >> and so, as the system deteriorates, the dems do what they do best. they print money. it's like a bootleg monopoly game. now when you pass go and collect $200 it's only worth $150. they are now demanding free community college. free college when kids aren't even showing up for grammar school?

and then after community college, we are supposed to pay the student loans of all these kids who majored in advanced activism. they are the ones blocking roads, ordering $18 lattes twice a day and then they complain they can make a decent wage and today's job market. parents i am talking to you now. this has to stop. we cannot afford it monetarily and competitively. how are our kids going to keep with the rising china in the future. please don't say by sitting next to them while taking a test. how is the american experiment going to compete with a militaristic and unstable russia right here on our own doorstep in latin america? the hostile nations are making tremendous inroads. they are coming, folks. kids who are told there is 55 genders but can't name the 50 states will not cut it. so what should we do? first, stop the bleeding. get your kids behind into the school. i'm sorry for the strong language. get her homework done. if the school is not teaching what your child needs, demand

we need to pull together. get the grandma back. i love the grandmas. >> who do you think is to blame for the downfall? >> i don't know who to blame. everyone is blaming the kids. they are not showing up to school. over 56% of the kids are not showing up in baltimore. yeah, have you seen schools lately? the dude teachers are showing up with prosthetic moves. the women teachers are talking about teaching them sex stuff. everything is gay. everything white is races. i commend these kids were not showing up. smart kids. >> they might have potential. brad, the recent republican debate last week so many candidates said they would eliminate the department of education but a lot of people have said that for a long time. then they get there and realize that's not going to happen. that can't be the only solution. >> i support that in theory but you have to have more practical solutions. i'm glad you brought up school choice. that's the most obvious one. we can't keep throwing money at

the system. we spend $15,000 per student. that is 30% more than other developed countries. clearly shoveling money which is what democrats said would fix our dem education prices. but giving parents choice, like maybe the money follows the student and goes to the school that best fits that kids needs. not just the public school. by default maybe it's a public school. but maybe it's a private school or charter school. maybe it is tyrus's house. maybe it's his neighborhood. >> i can fit at least 100 and there. >> take them to see the animals. >> back in the day for little house on the prairie there were 50 it can be done. >> that's a good point. it's not that we are not spending enough money on kids. we are spending it wrong. and some of the school districts the more money that you give them the scores are still as bad. >> absolutely. i think that school choice, i'm glad you brought it up and we are talking about it.

the problem with looking for a solution is there is no one-size-fits-all solution. i don't have kids. out from my understanding they are people. >> at times. >> people are different. what might work for one kid might not work for another kid. we have to acknowledge that reality. we cannot be surprised because even this is better than it was a few years ago when school was illegal. in the pandemic. education was no. that's truly insane. there has been all this learning loss that we found out happened and then kind of went man, that's a bummer. then nothing happened to try to address that. just having kids stay-at-home is going to impact that and has impacted them. what will we do to solve that? we need to at least try. >> i did some homework. spelling and math is down, but according to my measurements podcast listening is up 98 points.

new evidence that joe used fake e-mail accounts. the national archives has acknowledge the existence of nearly 5400 e-mails, electronic

records and documents that potentially showed joe biden using pseudonyms when he was vice president. those were the days when he was beat unlike now when he was still warm to the touch back then. that's a hard one for me to say, but it is true. the revelation comes after the southeastern legal foundation filed a freedom of information act two aliases used by biden. names like robin where, robert l peters and jr be aware. maybe he was just using a name suggestion that, with the free aol cd-rom he got in the mail. cat will explain later. now the foundation is suing for the public release of those records claiming that biden used the fake names to share government info and discuss foreign business with his son hunter and others as well as recipes for making bean dip and crack. yes, just like aliens in roy oswalt or whatever jesse is using to glue his wig on, people

have a right to know. i wonder what joe thinks about all this. >> come on, the e-mails are of a personal nature. they are just talking about yoga class and things like that. look here's a typical one right here. hey hillary, or should i say diane reynolds. it is robert bill peters. i love these nicknames we use for each other just for fun. what do you think about the new lululemon wap waste leggings. are they as buttery soft. signed carlos danger. just kidding. >> so nice of him to drop in and help us out. is jeff your real name? >> it is a stage name. >> what is your real name? >> 50 cents. >> that is impressive.
8:19 pm
when you find out that the vice president at the time was e-mailing his son government business but from a private e-mail account with a fake name and it was all about ukraine, what comes to mind? >> the real story is not always exciting as what we can maybe think and suggest and hope for. he is old. he is forgetting his logins. he has a lot of different names. my friend forgets his netflix password and deletes the whole account to start fresh. that is what is happening here. >> he is not paying for netflix 17 times? >> that is why biden has 17 netflix accounts. he cannot get in. >> it's called the freedom of information act request. this group the southeastern legal foundation filed it over a year ago. all of a sudden now the archives puts this out there. if you are the biden team you should have just gotten it out earlier. why would it take a year? >> they always slow walk those requests.
8:20 pm
i am honestly surprised that biden knows how to use e-mail. there are senators and congresspeople running this country who literally do not know how to send an e-mail. the 20 somethings do all the e-mails and they don't know the difference between facebook and twitter and tiktok even though they will try to write the rules for them and regulate them. i think the biden thing is so suspicious. why do you have aliases or fake accounts if you are not doing anything corrupt or not involved in anything sketchy? it has never crossed my mind that i should make fake e-mail accounts to e-mail my business associates and family members. that's not a normal thing to do. ethically it never would have crossed my mind if it was wrong. >> i think a lot has been said about the corruption and influence peddling and how it's bad. i agree with all that. i am also questioning whether i could possibly understanding this. he also seems to have been very, very stupid about it. it says he used fake names in

the business dealings that he was, quote, known to use in the white house during this time. so he was using the same fake names that he used in the white house as he was using to do business that he wasn't supposed to be doing because of his job in the white house. i thought the hole point of a fake name was nobody was supposed to know that was you? am i wrong? i feel like that's getting a burner phone to plan a murder. and then when the cops interview about it you say any further questions call me on this number. right? everybody knows you don't take a mistress and your wife to the same restaurant. that is what he is doing. >> tyrus, does everyone know that? >> unless your mistress works at the restaurant. it gets weird. >> there might be only one restaurant in town. >> that would be horrible. i spit at that idea. >> how about tiger woods?
8:22 pm
>> when you are rustling wrestling, sometimes you have wrestled under a pseudonym? >> i have lived my life under a pseudonym. my real name is half-dollar. listen, i am going to stick up for the pop here. there is no way in hell that he made these e-mails. impossible. he not only stutters when he speaks, he stutters when he types. he went to the smartest guy he knew to help them with this. and that is why he was using all the wrong e-mails, cat. the smartest guy he knew was taking care of it for him. unfortunately for him the smartest guy that he knows is a crack head. this is why we all know that. when i want to plan to do something sneaky and the five of us want to do something like a bank robbery, who is the smartest? cat said i am.
