seeking one gun charge against hunter, but make no mistake. going to be clear, this is not a cause for celebration. you don't want to see anybody arrested or have hard times in their life. it's hardly even a step in the right direction when we talk about justice being blind. hunter is now facing prosecution only because david weiss got caught giving hunter biden the get out of jail free card in the form of what was the sweetest of all sweetheart deals in the history. no jail time, serious charges, slap on the wrist, full immunity deep into the plea deal trying to get it past the judge and remember, the original pen was no charges whatsoever and the irs whistle-blowers made the plan obsolete and impossible. david weiss came up with plan b that included immunity and that became the next best option. no jail time, real charges, all

going according to plan until the delaware federal judge started asking important and pivotal questions fear that the best question in my mind is the prosecutor, have you seen them talking about the diversion of the gun portion? it so broad that it encompasses crimes in other cases. they tried to bury the immunity in the gun provision of the plea deal. the prosecutor had to reply, no, your honor. ultimately the judge and defense rejected the deal. the judge rightfully so because she did not see the deal in full that morning. that had never been given out to anybody else and defense, they wanted at a jail under free card with immunity. we've learned from the irs and fbi whistle-blowers that in fact weiss and others were slow walking the investigation into hunter biden for years and as you know we reported it, he let

the statute of limitations run out on various serious tax felonies for a lot of important years. these are felonies and you think anybody with the last name trump, they would never get this type of treatment? i don't think so. they never interviewed hunter biden and a four plus year investigation. after the biden family, tipped off against the fbi, no investigation or interview of hunter. no future interrogation. here we are, either david weiss now special counsel the most incompetent lawyer in the world or this was all very intentional. i happen to believe the latter. naturally, merrick garland promoted him and now he's a special counsel. the guy had five years to bring charges against hunter and by the way, the evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible. seemingly to help hunter and joe invade justice now running the

special counsel investigation simultaneously protecting himself in merrick garland. the democrats of the doj probably believe the gun charge will appease critics. they think we are obsessed with hunter biden and they couldn't be just wrong. yeah, we are concerned with justice and equal application of the law and equal justice under the law and that applies to hunter biden. the more serious investigations happening in the house oversight committee with james comer and the house judiciary and the committee. that's about joe biden and the big guy himself. we now have what has been unfolding every night on the show, mounting evidence against a sitting president that directly implicates him with what may well be the biggest political scandal in the history of the country. real influence peddling, bribery, money laundering allegations. many of the crimes under suspected of committing in this

i'm next, legal analysis with fox news contributor jonathan turley. you've done an amazing job in your columns laying all of this out and there's a lot of factories in play here. the gun charge to me while important especially considering joe biden's position on guns. that to me is just a way to try to to use the public. when you've got joe biden promising as a candidate and president over and over again that he never had conversations with his brother, hunter, anybody, about foreign business deals and devon archer testifies that in fact he was privy to at least 20 calls where joe biden called it. then the dubai call with marie's mama and exited lives four or five days before he went to ukraine to leverage $1 billion. then looking at the sheer amount of money the find and family is

getting. funneled through celled corporations buried we identified them as being recipients. no experience at all that would warrant the type of pain except the connection to joe and the very specific action the firing the prosecutor. to me, we're looking at a real bribery, money laundering, scandal, these are allegations and it seems like they have no idea of how to look into it. >> it's doesn't take much of an effort to reach the obvious conclusion. they're lying. the president lied when he ran for office, he said he didn't know about these business dealings. even hunter biden's close associates so that's patently false. other witnesses since said they spoke to president biden about the business dealings. the issues were raised not only with the sec, but the

state department raised hunter biden stealing. we undermined my effort to deal with corruption in ukraine. it's not particularly complex. that's part of what is so shocking here is the effort by people in government and by the media to not see what is happening. used to have houdini that make an entire elephant does appear from stage. the elephant never left the stage but houdini knew that the audience wanted to disappear and that's what's happened in washington. and it did. and the bidens really take credit for the magic trip of the century. they made the obvious scandal, disappear in front of the audience of millions. >> sean: where does this go from here because anybody with eyes to see can see exactly what happened here. we are talking about tens of millions of dollars.

we are talking about direct action and taking as vice president and the consequences and result of which is what's it vice president stan form. it some of our top political foes and that the clear incredible danger. was the next step? >> what's notable is the best argument now for impeachment inquiry is being made by the attorney general garland. we know when many of us were objecting with the statute of limitations running on some of the crimes, the same objectives were being raised. they wanted the statue of limitations to run on the most serious of those tax crimes. now you've got a stone wall and enough congress and many of these allegations of corruption. that leaves congress with little very little choice.

did and of course they didn't. what do we mean today by insurrection or sedition? it does not matter. donald trump has not been charged for insurrection or sedition. you know why he's not charged, america? two days before january 6th when the so-called insurrection took place, he offered 10,000 military personnel to defend the capitol building and defend the members of congress on january 6th. he was turned down by the democrats deep in the democrat mayor. can you imagine bringing the charge against trump? i go to court and say let me get this straight, he's the only one who offered 10,000 men armed in military gear just around the building to protect them on january 6th. turned down by the democrats. that's one way to run in insurrection, don't you think?
