parent would do, stand up for their child and even worse what then happened is the perpetrator moved to another school and sexual assaulted at young women. this was a gross misconduct of justice. >> he erupted at a school board meeting outraged over school board members handing of investigation into a sexual assault of his daughter in the school's bathroom. he couldn't contain his emotion. smith had this to say a short timing a. >> i had to accept this pardon from governor youngkin because i couldn't trust the justice system. that's really scary. that's should scare every american because it's happening across the united states. any town or county or city that you live in that has a george soros-funded prosecutor, you need to vote them out. if you can't get them out, you need to move. what i want people to remember is not to be scared to speak up

the school district and covered up the sexual assault of a girl because they didn't want to draw negative attention to their agenda within the school and transferred the kid to another school where he sexual assaulted a second girl. that's disgusting and that's criminal. the fact that this dad showed up and got a little vocal, okay. to be clear, if it was me, i don't know that i would have showed the measured restraint he did but understand this is all a by-product when it comes to the specific issue. the left keeps characterizing pushback on the trans agenda as violence. someone saying i don't want this going on, so much so they're pushing back against actual violence, okay. these girls were sexual assaulted. they're pushing back against the guy that verbally wants to critique that as if he's the environment one and you have to hope this is a wakeup call because two sexual assaulted girls and the band just marched on and that's disgusting. >> this is not a transgender issue baa they're making it seem

that way. you have a media who's completely frenzied looking at transgender stuff. yes, the first assault said it was a boy in the female restroom and he was wearing a skirt. but what happened here? she's claiming she was assaulted. the boy gets transferred to another school and he assaults another girl there. there were a lot of things that happened in between the the teacher assistant before the first assault and went to the principal and made inappropriate behavior and after the boy went to the second school before the second assault, there were complaints from two girls to the school. yet no one actually said anything and these assaults kept happening and why does this continue to happen talking about mass shootings and sexual assaults and suicides, there's always warning signs and no one is paying attention. >> it's a little disorganized and first and foremost, don't come after me or any other daughters out there because i can guarantee my dad wouldn't

mind. this guy did not assault anyone and not threatening violence and showed up and demanded that the school do something to protect his daughter. that's not wrong. second of all, can i just say really quickly in all of this, we forgot the daughter. everyone forget the daughter. she was assaulted and everyone flipped and started talking about the whole situation and meantime she's watching her dad now be prosecuted on top of being victimized. can you imagine what that feels like as a young, young woman not only did you just get victimized and now watching your dad suffer through this and how guilty you must feel for bringing your family through all of this. she's going to have to carry this now for quite some time. ptsd, you know, it baffles my mind we'd re-victimize a young girl like that and say it's all political. i thought the most interesting thing he said was that he didn't want to be the face of a cause. like he wanted to be a dad. nobody wants to be the face of a

cause. nobody wants to create a situation that becomes national and now you have a governor forgiving -- pardoning you. he doesn't -- nobody wants this. this is crazy. >> so it's important -- i live in virginia. i followed this case very closely and it's important to remember the school district, the officials on that board, the superintendent were lying. >> yep. >> so they had this bathroom situation with trans bathroom, gender neutral stuff and they wanted to push there that agenda whether you agree or not with them. they told the public there was no record of any sexual assaults in a bathroom with the school when in fact they knew this assault had taken place so that dad got righteously fire yous because of it and he was -- furious because of it and he was right all along and since then he's been arrested, there's been firings, indictments against the people that covered this up. but at the time republicans were demonized by democrats in my state and thank goodness

governor youngkin won to be in a situation to issue this pardon and barack obama came in and this is a tripped up culture war. >> guy, what you're talking about in june 2021, that's a month after the first assault. the superintendent ziegler was at after he had briefed about the assault, told the school board they asked him, has there ever been a record of assault in the restrooms and he said no. as it got pushed back at the grand jury, he said, you know what, i thought that question was in relation to our transgender policies in the bathrooms. so he was clearly lying, which is why he actually did get fired and i want you to take a listen real quick to scott smith again talking about the school board's trying to silence the parents. >> i know what happened. they tried to silence the parents with the memo all the way to the doj. they tried to silence the

parents across america that are making a movement to stop this nonsense in our public school systems. and they used me, my arrest and my video for two years to push that narrative. well, the narrative is over. i win. >> so, guy, obviously the educational system completely failed this gentleman, but he also brings up the judicial system, what's your take on that? >> well, the fact that the biden doj tried to demonize pans, that clip was put in ads to make it seem like these scary right wing parents are out of control with phony trumped up culture wars and that guy was furious and getting dragged out of the room by police because he had every right to be because his daughter was sexual assaulted in a school and they covered it up and lied about it and treated him like he was the criminal. it's amazing that he is as composed even now that he is, and my hat is off to governor youngkin and it's the least he could have done to clear the decks legally for this man. >> it's only going to get worse.

like when the system doesn't work to protect you, the system is in place to protect you and your kids. it's like crime in cities right now; right. like when it's not there and it's not serving you, people start to take matters into their own hands. so if this continues to happen, and the adults in the room aren't the adults in the room, guess what's going to happen? it's going to get worse. moms and dads will take matters into their own hands and they're going to make sure their kids are protected, bottom line. >> and, jamie, you obviously see school systems trying to separate parents from the kids. what do you make of this? >> they're showing an indifference to the children at this administrative level. as guy said. everyone knew a child was harmed, everyone knew these policies were harming children u meaning the kid got chipped to another school and committed a second acall n. a round about way, people that don't want school choice, they're making the best case for it by continuing to put the wellbeing

letters for danny masterson sentenced for rape. he was convicted of that point of drugging and raping two women in the early 2000s. this is a portion of what the couple posted on instagram. >> we are aware of the pain that has been causessed by the character letters we wrote on behalf of danny master son. >> we support victims, we have done this historically through our work and will continue to do so in the future. the letters were not written to question the legitimacy of the judicial system or the validity of the jury's ruling. >> they were intended for the judge to read and not to undermine the testimony of the victim or re-traumatize them in any way. we're sorry if that has taken place. >> while the judge in that case sentenced masterson to 30 years to life in prison for those crimes, the couple sent the letters to the judge just before the sentence was handed down so apparently their letters didn't have much impact.

in one of those letters kutcher wrote "danny takes his jobs seriously and treats everyone equal and as a roam model, danny was consistently an excellent one". aiaishah, you were angry listeng to that video. >> in 2019, ashton kutcher testified during a serial killer trial that somebody who had killed his girlfriend back in the day. how would he feel if someone wrote a glowing letter about that serial killer? like he killed a few women but you know what, he was really a nice guy to me and great when he wasn't out killing people. the second part that drives me nuts and this is what was obviously really insulting to the victims is they're not apologizing for writing the letters. they're apologizing that the letters got out. like they're saying well, the

judge was just supposed to see this. it's not like a oh, we made a mistake. this guy is a bad dude and we should have never written the letters. they're still standing behind their friend, but they're just sad and sorry the victims had to hear their letters. >> i just quoted from kutcher. how about mila. she calls the convicted felon a "outstanding older brother figure and went onto wholeheartedly vouch for his exceptional character and the tremendous positive influence he's had on me and the people around him i guess with at least two notable exceptions, jimmy". >> it's a long season. no one goes undefeated, mila. give me a break. hollywood actors are stupid people. they have the words written for them. they're fayetteville mus because they hit the -- famous buzz they hit the genetic lottery and not brainiacs or wildly intelligent people and ashton is good

looking and got famous. but they're usually in a position where again, there is a writer strike right now. those writers would normally be feeding them things to say and tell them hey, this is a dumb idea. the guy's been convicted of rape. if you want to vouch for a character on the front end when there's still some plausible deniability and try to sway the jury and saying i knew he was a good guy and would never do that and you believe that was the case, they wrote these letters post-conviction, okay. you got to think about where you have to be intelligent chilly to go, what -- intellectually is saying this guy got convicted opportunistic rape and tell the world what a good character he. >> exceptional and big brother-type character. the thing is of course there are victims here and one of which reached out to journalist and what she wrote, jane doe no. 1 aka jen b and one of the women he was convicted of raping and texted me her reaction to this video and it was incredibly

insulting and hurtful and i hope they learn radical accountability and importance of self-education and learning when to keep their privilege in check, especially ashton that claims to work with victims of sex crimes and to mila, i can only think of time's up. dr. sapphire, they're not saying they don't believe he's guilty of the crime. they were trying to help him get a more lenient sentence and they worked with him and friends of him and yet the blow back is significant here. >> you know, i am cautioning myself to speak because i have a different opinion on their video than everyone else here at the table and trying to think about it. the way that i see it is these -- so i don't know mila and ashton. i didn't watch that show they were on. i don't have an opinion on them. but after reading the story and kind of looking into this, they were friends with this person for 25 years and obviously felt like they knew him. when they wrote these letters, again, they were meant to be private, they certainly didn't mean for it to get out and certainly not to the victims.

it's -- they're trying to say what their experience is with him. maybe they think he's wrongfully convicted. i don't know. maybe -- i don't know what their actual thoughts are, but i think it was a private letter and not meant to get out and i think there are people convicted of crimes, and that doesn't mean there aren't people in their lives that believe them to be a good person at some buoyant in their life. these character letters do mean something. if you're convicted of rape, these dr. letters don't mean you'll walk scott free but it's okay that people that have a good opinion of him wrote these letters in confidence that they wouldn't get out because they did not want to offend the victim in any way shape or form. that's my opinion. >> well, i would say that it's a completely fair point and i also think that if they think he's wrongfully convicted, they could say that but they're trying to have it both ways they're not questioning the verdict and they're just trying to speak to the character that they knew. obviously there was another side of this person. just as i said at the top, a
