may i have another. there you go. how did that feel? how about another one? that's what jerry does. jerry has got hot hands. jerry watters. remember, i'm jesse watters and this is my world. [applause] spkr4: hi, welcome to hannity. hi. hello. how are you? great audience. what a great crowd. big news tonight. they didn't arrest donald trump today. they arrested somebody else. what a shocker. anyway, three felony counts against zero experience hunter biden but no tax charges no money laundering indictments, no violations.
6:01 pm
no public corruption crimes. instead special council weiss indicted hunter on three gun crimes. know first of all i'm not happy everyone gets arrested. nothing has been happy about. but let me tell you what i'm angry about. that's justice not being served. don't get me wrong. these are serious charges. you know what, you believe in equal justice application of our laws all of you here if you did what hunter did you would be charged. by the way these crimes can carry over 20 plus years in prison. oddly enough out of all the egregious issues that we have been investigating involving hunter biden and foreign countries and 10s of millions of dollars and shell corporations this gun incident is the only one that's not connected to joey the big guy his father in other words there is the low hanging
6:02 pm
fruit. >> the dozen crimes that hunter biden committed ironically that's the one crime that he committed that you cannot tie joe biden to. so, we'll see what happens with the other 11 or so crimes that his son has committed. >> not like you're expressing the skepticism here you wanted an indictment. that's not enough? >> and indictment for money laundering violation of the foreign agent registration act tax evasion the list goes on. you never heard me say anything about gun charges. >> sean: congress metal comer is right. even though these gun charges were never supposed to happen. why is that? because the fix we know now was in from the get-go for both bind's. plan a was going well for a good while for five long years, the
6:03 pm
doj's david weiss sat on hunter biden's case as the irs whistleblowers told us the fbi whistleblower told us he was being treated very differently than any other person. but they purposely in this case allowed the statute of limitations to expire on extremely serious tax violations and then he planned to charge hunter with absolutely nothing. sweeping all of this mills conduct under the rug like a bad dream until several irs and fbi whip letters came forward. uh-oh, plan a is blowing up before their eyes and they allege all the special treatment for hunter and accuse weiss garland and or both of lying about their ability to charge hunt weather a crime. now that's when wooigs and hunter's attorney got to go time now for plan b. that was the backup strategy. that's the one that involved the
6:04 pm
unprecedented sweetheart slap on the wrist plea agreement for hunter biden no felony no jail time and most importantly hunter given immunity more charges that could implicate pops. it was the broad immunity deal buried into the gundy version portion of the plea agreement along with apparent off the books agreement to sweep everything else under the rug and once again it was all going along perfectly until last caty federal judge did her job and didn't just rubber stamp the plea agreement and started asking questions and raising real concerns. at one point my favorite judge says have you ever seen a diversion agreement that is so agreement that it encompasses crimes in other cases? prosecutor had to answers no, your honor, i've never seen a deal like this. then why did they off there sweetheart deal?
6:05 pm
any way, plan b now dead. so today this was plan c- they didn't want to go to plan a. they want a plan a and b after trying so hard to protect the biden's from legal scrutiny for years weiss was promoted special counsel by the attorney general, merrick garland in this role. weiss is now able to stall and stone wall any public information request but has to answer to federal judge mary ellen iraca and she ordered weiss to make a charging decision on the gun portion of the failed plea deal by the end of the month. that's why it happened today so here we are three felony gun charges against hunter biden but only after allegations from multiple whistleblowers, otherwise this all would have been swept under the rug. several ongoing investigations in yes, a federal judge who refused to rubber stamp the doj prosecutorial misconducts and
6:06 pm
now the obvious question will special counsel david weiss charge hunt weather any other serious crimes. here's the answer. i tend to think not. unless he's forced to unless more whistleblowers come forward or something else unforeseen happens so long as joe biden is the presumptive 2024 nominee for the democratic party, we know that weiss and garland will do everything they can to protect the bidens and will never charge hunt weather a crime that in any way implicate highs president facility. that's why this is a politicized and weaponized department of justice. now for them beating up donald trump is so much more important more superceding indictments let's indict trump another four times. let's arrest him another four times. let's get for more mug shots. by the way what about up holding the rule of law? i thought lady justice was
6:07 pm
supposed to be blind equal application of laws. simply put the system is rigged. you have a corrupt department of justice and they are on a political mission. this has always been about protecting joe biden so he can beat donald trump or any other republican and noble in the democratic party, nobody in this justice department really seems to care about hunter at all. you know what, he will be the sacrificial lamb here. they're more than happy to charge him with a hundred gun crimes but don't think about fara violations tax evasion money laundering or bribery because none of those allegations exist without the big guy no one in russia china ukraine kazakhstan rue mania you think they would be sending hunter 10s of millions of dollars if daddy wasn't elected to the highest level of the federal government?
6:08 pm
hunter admitted i am self, maybe it's because my dad is president. he had no experience in energy oil or gas or ukraine. why did you get paid? i don't know. you know it's all so highly unusual that nine biden family members, i two like to know what the grandchildren did to receive the money they got from foreign nationals and china and russian. hunter is on records giving half his income to pops and playing for the up keep of joe's delaware mansion when he would ask the head of rosemont seneca finances so clearly all the alleged crimes aside from the gun charges stem from hunter's relationship to daddy and based on that one 1023 form that the fbi informant, talking to the
6:09 pm
ceo of burisma believes that biden's actually sold foreign policy decisions. that's what the fbi informant was told. while many in the media put their heads in the sands and take their talking points from even sams out of the war room, all white house republicans are following the facts and today one proud journalist was just not ready to face these facts. take a look. >> do you believe the president lied to the american public when he said he would never talk to his son about business dealings? yes or no it's all right. you can't answer that? do you believe when they said the president went only conference calls do you believe that happened? [inaudible] >> do you believe the president went to cafe milano and had dinner with the clients of hunter biden, who believes he got those clients because he was
6:10 pm
selling the brand? okay. do you believe hunter biden when you saw the video of him driving a porsche that he got $143,000 to buy that porsche the next day? do you believe the $3 million from the russian oligarch that was transferred to the shell companies that the biden's controlled after the done former cafe milano took place. do you think the president lied when he said -- >> lying is not impeachable. >> i'm not saying impeachment. all i'm saying is i would like to know answer to those questions. that's what impeachment inquiry provides. >> sean: anybody says no evidence of wrongdoing and corruption is a liar and ordinary totally ignorant or si same are political hacks. we have bank records. we have suspicious activity reports shell corporations and eyewitness accounts all the
6:11 pm
evidence show sketchy corrupt individuals forking over what is 10s of millions of dollars to the biden family in return. phone calls meetings dinners directs access to the big guy and maybe policy decisions according to the 1023 form and literally nothing else. no one was paying hunter biden for his experience or intellect. he didn't have any. of either. this was a guy struggling with addiction. he was not reliable. had very little expertise in anything at that point in his life sadly other than drugs yet millions poured in thanks to the brand and the brand of course was not hunter. it it was big guy, the president, joe biden then vice president. it's past time for joe biden to be held accountable. don't expect any justice from joe biden's weaponized doj. here with reaction fox news contributor georgetown university law professor jonathan turley, sir.
6:12 pm
[applause] >> let's get your reaction to today. i think this is league hanging fruit to me. i think that this was forced upon them. we already know that they planned not to charge him. then they got the sweetheart deal that got exposeed by the judge in delaware. this is plan c. what are your thoughts? >> it's conspicuous as you noted as chairman comer noted as to what was not charged. they were giving out fara charges against trump specials with great speed. they hit paul manafort with the charges based on the same facts. what the media is ignoring these uncharged crimes do have one common possible motive. when you don't declare yourself a foreign agent, when you don't declare income, when you create these questionable international
6:13 pm
transfers, all of them can be effectively succeed in hiding that trail. if you declare income you got to say where the income came. from if you declare yourself a forge agent you have to explain what you're doing for foreign governments. if you create this maze of accounts through different shell companies and banks it makes it hard for people to see the france percent. all that fits a unified theory of influence pedalling scheme that involved potential criminal acts so i think it's rather obvious that the one out-dier the gun charge is the only thing charged. we may see charges down the road but these charges were established, in my view, years ago. they could have made these charges years ago. instead they're allowing some of those charges toeks fire the tax charges for example were allowed to expire even though according
6:14 pm
to these whistleblowers the department of the gymnast had the ability to extend the statute of limitations. >> sean: let's start with joe biden lying. let's talk about the phone calls he made to hunt weather his foreign business partners, the cafe milano dinner with russian ol garks and others, payment for deals and professionals that hunter had no experience in all the shell corporations all the suspicious activity reports 10s of millions of dollars. i would like to know what hunter and the grand children did for the money they were paid, nine biden family members according to james comer. for all the talk that joe didn't know the bribery statute doesn't mandate that joe benefited at all but it seems when he fired the prosecutor in ukraine that he was enriching hunter. wasn't he as a result of that firing? which was against obama administration policy put in place of october of 2015?
6:15 pm
>> right. sean that's what is so telling about people saying let's not have any further inquire:let's not do the impeachment inquiry to see if any of these are impeachable offenses it's an act of willful blindness to ignore evidence that we now have. why shouldn't the public get these answers? it doesn't mean the president has committed impeachable offenses but i think that anybody who is reasonable looking at this evidence would say that there might be impeachable conduct here there, might be criminal conduct. >> sean: let me ask one question. >> this is necessary for that. >> sean: what about burisma joe bragging leverage a billion fire the prosecutor, we know it was an interagency approval of theibility in loan guarantees as a result of that decision to fire that prosecutor hunter continued to get paid for a job he had no experience in, jonathan. what do you call that? >> right.
6:16 pm
that's exactly, it's a classic influence peddling scheme. that's not a crime. no it's not alone a crime but it often involves criminal acts to carry out the finals peddling. this is a corrupt estimate there's a lost people at this corrupt trough. there's a lost people selling access but the biden arrest standouts. they've always had a greater appetite and that's gotten them into trouble. instead of doing falcons peddling modestly they went for 10s of millions of dollars. instead of trying to get a plea bargain they tried to get everything in it. >> sean: jonathan turley thank you. [applause] >> joining now fox news lehmann his garrett. greg your analysis what happened today, agree or disagree with me? >> well, they certainly have no confidence that david weiss will
6:17 pm
prosecute this gun case aggressively. he was forced as you point out by the judge to bring charges. weiss has shown he's untrust worthy. he spent the last years acting effectively as hunter biden's defense attorney, refuse to go bring felony charges for millions of dollars in tax fraud tax evasion that would send anyone else you and me to prison. weiss intentionally allowed the statute of limitations to expire, tipped off hunter's lawyers about a search warrant and surprise interview. he forbid any questions in interviews about joe biden's involvement and certainly refused to follow the overseas paper trail of millions in cash. he overlooked evidence of fara violations money laundering so we are now supposed to suddenly believe that david weiss is having an epiphany and will act
6:18 pm
like a duty bound prosecutor? that won't happen. he will attempt another plea deal without the hidden immunity clause. he will publicly pretend that he will bring serious charges in california and washington. in the end he won't do it. this will be another example of preferential treatment. >> miranda your take. we keep hearing from the media mob, we have the war room instructing the mediachy find fascinating and they obviously are extension of democratic party press office. do you see this moving formed joe biden now? >> look. i think so. certainly what we are get from james comer is a lot of material uncovering links to joe biden and what's been holding them up of course is the fact that they are blocked on getting
6:19 pm
subpoenas. the biden administration is having backs not hand over records. also before the impeachment inquiry was announced they were not able to give witnesses immunity from prosecution and that's a crucial tool in their arm meant so i think definitely they're closing in on joe biden will as for this indictment of hunter biden and i think it was a good point that james comer made that this is the only one of the crimes that doesn't lead to joe biden. but there is one little element of it that does and that is that at the time that the old estate and fbi police were converging on that wilmington, delaware grocery store where the gun had been tossed in the trashcan by
6:20 pm
hallie biden, lunlter's sister-in-law cross lover, they also at the gunshot the secret service two secret service agents turned up and asked the owner of the gun store for the gun background check. this charge would never have been brought this indictment if they had been successful taking that away. secret service denies it was their agents but that's ripe for investigation. >> miranda devine, best selling book. raising alarm among democrats, we are going to show what you nancy pelosi said about it last night. you won't believe why the view is attacking tim scott. we will check in with tim scott and laura trump. stay with us.
