[inaudible] rachel: yeah. so aoc went with her fellow, as you said, socialist congress members, and they tried to explain to the people of new york why this is such a great idea, this is really good for them, this is the american dream. will: she's giving them jobs. rachel: exactly. and that's part of her plan. by the way, the people that were there know their services in new york city are going to be cut anywhere from 5-15%, their wages are going down because of bidenomics -- will: eric adams saidst it's going to destroy the city. rachel: but they came here, and aoc i have a plan. we need more federal money, she never said close the border, give them work permits so they can undercut the wages of people here, and then she said she wanted temporarily protection if status for the venezuelans. what are we protecting the venezuelans from, pete? pete: from that their own version of alexandria ocasio-cortez in south america.

will: meanwhile, in the race for president of the united states, gop candidates all visited the pray, vote, stand summit. and i thought some of these guys had some really interesting things to say about religion. vivek ramaswamy a had something really interesting to the say about how wokism has become religion. when you vacate the playing field of faith and purpose, people fill it with something, and in that case it was wokism. ron desantis the, i thought, made an amazing point. he said the united states wasn't created to tolerate he religion, it was created to to flourish religion. because anything where you create a society where government is supposed to do the minimum, civil society is built upon something else. and the united states of america, it was very clearly judeo-christian values. let's take a listen to trump, desantis and ramaswamy at the pray, vote, stand summit. >> these marxists, stalinists in the administration got a washington, d.c. jury to convict

research council, pray, vote, stand. it's great to see the top republican candidates standing will the in front of a room pull of christians, people of faith, saying our values need to be presented -- represented. and there's only one major party in this country doing that the, and it's still a huge part of the constituency of the republican base. rachel: also interesting to see donald trump use that platform to talk about pardoning, you know, political prisoners in our country because we have them now in our country. it used to be something we talked about many cuba, but we have them here, and he's promised whether they're pro-life activists who are now getting really stiff, crazy sentences, 20 years for protesting peacefully in front of i abortion clinics or even the january 6th prisoners, many of them in solitary confinement now for two years, he's saying he will pardon them if he is elected. and i believe that vivek ramaswamy has said the same thing. will: apparently, the biden administration or those involved in the biden campaign are

terrified of the prospect of donald trump. why? look at this latest fox news poll. this is on the choice to vote for president if it was held today. 48% for donald trump, 46% for joe biden. that's left some, according to a cnn article, saying the following: several biden aides themselves tell cnn that looking at trump's wide lead in every primary poll and no clear leader in a hypothetical biden-trump rematch leaves them with a particular kind of existential stress. the former president may seem like an easier candidate to beat as a known quantity who is toxic to many voters, but they're terrified any fumbles by the campaign or the president himself would enable the return of the candidate they see as a singular threat to american democracy. pete: fumbles or stumbles. and so the biden campaign may be playing the long game, but we are seeing this week a huge conversation blow open on the other side and in the legacy media about whether he should be that that candidate, because they're running out of time, and it's it's only going to get worse for his mental capability.

you talk about stumbles, fumbles, what about actual stumble, you know what i mean? rachel: yeah. pete: this is what they're up against right now, and they realize it. and as much as it is about a or personalities, it will at some point come down to real policy contrasts of the vision of this country. and joe biden has governed as a radical, and that plays finish do as a radical leftist, and and that plays through very different can than what he said he was going to do. rachel: yeah, it's interesting. we'll see if i think get him out in the next couple months, we could see some major changes, a lot of jockeying to see who ends up being that that candidate. pete: for sure. rachel: all right. we're going to turn now to your headlines. the nypd says a 1-year-old boy is dead after a possible opioid exposure at a ea daycare center in the bronx. responders is saving two other young children with narcan. a fourth child to who that left school early was also revived and hospitalized. those three kids are now in

stable condition. police are launching a criminal investigation as the medical examiner determines fentanyl is to blame. that is one of the scariest stories. a growing number of small towns are getting rid of police departments as they struggle with staffing and funding. nearly 40 small townses across the country have disbanded their police forces since 2019, that's according to rice university. some are now relying on local sheriffs' departments while others are hoping a larger police department can take on the extra there that load. earlier, we talked about where i think you can find the most ideal men in the country to the marry, and i say it's in the midwest, that you can find a partner who is manly, reliable, polite and family and community-oriented. but we asked you what you think. lori agrees about midwestern men. she says they are capable of doing anything. they're honest, hard working, and they love their families. jan thinks you can find a good man anywhere, you just have to

forced him, brought these three indictments, gun charges on hunter biden -- will: it's also a nothing burger. rachel: exactly. will: it's a distraction. pete: absolutely right. will: it does show, i mean, the way it's been handled, differently than any other person who he's add a gun charge. -- had a gun charge. i found these fox news polls absolutely fascinating. i don't know, i guess it's because this is, everybody's run to their tribal corners on this. it just is seen through partisanship. look at this, this is how the public views hunter biden's business dealings as it relates to joe biden. 38% believe joe biden might have done something illegal, 25% something unethical, 24% nothing very wrong. 24% say nothing very wrong. i think they're telling me, is that actually 34? pete: i think the number is 34, nothing serious -- will: instead of 24 like we had on the graphic.

pete: but if you add those up, it brings you north of 60 between illegal and unethical. and if the question is about joe and not hunter, that's a pri high number. 64%? look at this. rachel:st it's not just about enriching yourself. this is beyond enriching yourself. the money means he's compromised by our enemies, by china. it means that what he did could be considered treasonous. and it certainly, the most important thing is it's impacting our policy right now in ukraine. it's making us weaker. it's making us closer to nuclear war. will: pete, you see optimism in add aing those who to numbers together. i combine it with this one,s this is how people see the impeachment inquiry, and it kind of mirrors a hypothetical joe biden versus donald trump matchup, you know what i mean? it's just right there. one point difference, legitimate versus bogus. it's not bogus. i am continually -- like, this

narrative that there's no evidence, and they pretend like circumstantial evidence, most of it is circumming substantial which means maybe not nose on there's this points to joe biden. although there is things that point directly to joe biden. pete: the burisma stuff is pretty straightforward. will: but there's a9 lot of circumstantial evidence, and that's legitimate, valid evidence. did you see the interaction with kevin mccarthy and the ark p reporter where she says there's no evidence, her response is, well, that's the testimony. you know? when he says do you believe this happened, she responds, well, that's the testimony. does she understand that testimony is evidence? pete: admissible evidence. will: so she's admitting there's evidence. rachel: but also you're not counting how many different points the people investigating were blocked or the fact that the investors are friends of the bidens. like,, why, you know, weiss. this is not a on the up investigation. and it has been blocked. the whistleblowers are being

persecuted. people who are trying to do the right thing and get to the bottom, so it's even more than circumstantial, can't get to those points because they're getting blocked by the biden administration and the doj. pete: it's true, your skepticism is right, at what point can can we crack past that lens where there's enough evidence that it's so obvious that 47-47 becomes 60-40 or 70-30 because, oh, there's clearly criminal acts. and that's what i hope the house will do a full vote, is so that it's a full-on inquiry where they can get all that information so that we have a definitive understanding of what an impeachment means, not just a partisan squabble. because that's what the democrats did to trump twice. and if there really are crimes here and there ising something that's selling out our country, it's it's on house republicans and house republican froms only to prove it through the most ironclad, legitimate process possible to impeach joe biden and bring the evidence out into the open. we know the left and the press will still ignore it, but there's some places where that stuff can break through, and id
