general ken paxton will be restored back to office immediately packs it was suspended without pay back in may after the majority of the republican dominated house voted to impeach him on allegations of corruption and bribery. here is paxton's attorney today after his client was acquitted. he basically said it was a relief that was the only way to describe it. he says as the center has said he thought this investigation was a shady him it was a joke they had to go through this break dbigduring the impeachmenl some of paxton's former senior officials testified he abused his office to help one of his donors a local real estate developer. however texas senate shot down those charges paxton has maintained his innocence. today in a statement he said quote today the truth prevailed the truth cannot be buried by mudslinging politicians or their powerful benefactors. i have said many times seek the truth that is what was
