homeless crisis. we're going to have millions of folks coming in the country and they have to be taken care of by our tax dollars. how do you feel about us redirecting our money, our taxpayers' dollars to them versus the americans that are on the streets today? >> i have a huge concern about that. here locally in bozeman, our encampments are growing by the day. we have a huge homeless problem here. we just had a commissioner's the meeting here on tuesday. we had the public speak. we had the homeless speak. and it's growing daily. it's a huge problem. we have winter coming. fire hazards, propane tanks. we have raw sewage on our public walkways. it's become a huge problem. and as you can see, montana is beautiful, we love living in montana. so do many others. but they can't afford it. and it's turns into another san francisco, seattle, and it just -- it breaks my heart. >> lawrence: montana is way too beautiful to be turning into san francisco. y'all, this continues to be a

not happen now why are heading to a government shut down. where do you stand. >> welcome to montana. i went to kindergarten through college here. it's great to have you. for 25 consecutive years, congress has not been able to pass all the appropriation bills before the end of the fiscal year. i was in the private seq. for for 28 years. if you have did that in the private sector you are fired. we should put the pain on members of congress. if you can't get the budget bills passed, suspend their pay until they get it passed. here's the problem with the government shutdown. it cost the taxpayers billions of the dollars for the disruptions. there is no research we should have to disrupt the services, cost the taxpayers more. congress needs to get its act together. we are $33 trillion in debt. facing $2 trillion deficits. it's time to cut spending, get budgets passed but this government shutdown nonsense frankly is going to hurt the american people, cost more money. it's congress needs to get its

don't care about our society our way the life yesterday we were speaking with another border patrol agent because my husband did retire. he was telling us that most of the people that are come in, which is over 1,000 each day between 1,000 and 1500, all they expect is the united states to take karen of them. there's a lot of people that are sick. there's a lot of single young males. and there's a lot of pregnant females. me, as an american citizen, daughter of immigrant, legal immigrant parents, if i go to the hospital, i get a huge bill. but they get to get whatever they want and we, the taxpayers are footing the bill. and i just say that it's not fair and it's time for the american citizens to say no more. congress needs to do their job. but we need to make sure that in 2024, people like myself, that love this country and we are grateful for the every opportunity our are able to win our elections.
