philadelphia, businesses are ransacked by masked teenagers just weeks after philly police commissioner resigned. you are watching "fox and friends first" on wednesday morning, i'm todd piro. >> carley: i'm carley shimkus. looters targeted apple store, foot and lululemon and the acting police chiefs this was a bunch of criminals taking advantage of unrest in the city. brooke singman has breaking details this morning. >> brooke: police say 100 teens were involved, but only 15 to 20 of them are in custody. you see here just a fraction of the damage outside of the lululemon. just down the street at apple store, electronics are littered throughout the store temperature is unclear how many businesses were hit.

the last two earnings reports, they call it cling, it is theft, organized theft. billions that companies are telling wall street, we can't operate under these business conditions. this story is not new. but the hard part for communities, are communities that need a target. they need stores and will not have them anymore. target did put out a statement about the nine stores closing. they said we know that our stores serve an important role in communities, we can only be successful if the working and shopping environment is safe for all. they are talking about their employees, to be clear here. national retail federation did a report and businesses lost $110 billion. it is important between target

i'm sure they will be out there bleeding there is still no evidence. little hard to deny that also proof, todd, in my mind, that joe biden has been lying the whole time when he said he had no awareness, never had conversations with hunter about his business dealings. little hard to deny that when it's your address on the wires. it also tells me, again, joe is intimately involved, as we know, with these wires, as with the phone calls. all the other pieces of evidence that are building up that he was intimately involved in the family business of influence peddling. i will say, this todd, the other thing that really strikes me that is interesting about this the wires took place a few months after he declared for president, which strikes me as extremely interesting timing to be getting this money. >> carley: that certainly raises the stakes here a bit. ned, you look at the president's position right now politically. you know, there are major concerns about his age. the poll numbers are bad. the situation with hunter biden legally is not happening matters

there was one white house insider quoted assaying that a third party candidate is, quote bleeping concerning. what is going to happen here? >> i have to tell you, carley, i'm still convinced at some point this might become untenable for joe biden. i do think there will be a serious primary challenge? i do not. at some point next summer does this become a situation his physical ailments all these piece of evidence about corruption add up to the point democrats realize he cannot be the nominee and something happen on the floor of the dnc convention in august next year in which they find a new candidate for the general election. at some point it really feels this is all going to implode physically and on the corruption level as well. >> todd: i got to get your thoughts on this. said something in answer. do you believe there is a connection between this payment and ultimately the white house's policies toward china? >> i do. it's hard to say that there's not, todd, when there is money
