that shocked mainstream media he is up double digits over biden. so how would voters feel about a rematch? let's bring in our panel. republican voter sydney, democratic voter jamiel jackson and republican voter whitney smith mcintosh. whitney, let's go to you first. how do you feel about this rematch? >> you know, i have a lot of thoughts about it. but, i think a rematch is just vengeance and revenge. it's going to be all about emotion. i hope when president trump win that's will remember his promises and he will remember his people instead of trying to get revenge. >> lawrence: sydney, how do you feel about this rematch? >> well, you know, being here in the tampa bay area and just being pretty involved in the political sphere here, you know, talking to people in the area, i'm just hearing that most
4:46 am
people are really looking forward to seeing another rematch, trump going up against biden and just how much they miss president trump and the trump presidency and basically just the feeling that things were much better during that time. i'm excited to see what happens. >> lawrence: so, jamiel, everyone is talking about the rematch. but some people think that it could be gavin newsom as the nominee. i want to play this interview with sean hannity. let's watch. >> really, you accept this under any circumstances. >> of course not. it's a hypothetical. >> yes or no? >> no. >> no, under any circumstances. >> it's ridiculous. joe biden is our president. >> lawrence: so, jamiel, is it joe biden or gavin newsom? >> i think we can all tell from the covid era that gavin newsom is one of the snakiest politicians we have. he is a consistent liar and now he is rewriting the history post pandemic. so i think it's definitely going to be biden. we all know if biden debates is
4:47 am
he going to lose the election. so i think if he is going up against donald trump i already debated in 2020 there is no point. we have to hold both parties accountable. >> lawrence: first inquiry hearing was yesterday. it seems like we are going through this all over again. republicans say they have got a lot of evidence to lay out where do you fall on this impeachment inquiry. >> i think any impeachment of a sitting president is a waste of time and taxpayer money as well. we could be doing much more beneficial things. we could actually be focusing on the campaigns. >> lawrence: sydney, where do you fall on this issue? >> well, i think that when most voters hear about hunter biden wants business dealings, and especially hearing about countries like, you know, ukraine and china, i think that
4:48 am
raises a lot of red flags for people. and i think that the inquiry is definitely warranted and i'm interested to see what happens and what the republicans bring forward. >> lawrence: jamiel, a lot of voters feel like there is a two tiered justice system and they feel like a lot of corruption going on with biden and his son. even the sweetheart deal that he got from the department of justice. how do you feel about this inquiry? >> i watched the impeachment inquiry yesterday, and when i was watching it and i saw jamie raskin talk, i thought he was the enemy within the people's house. i understand he has cancer and i wish him the best during his fight, but i don't know how someone with that kind of ailment could go into the people's house and just be so wicked. during the trump administration, he was sherlock holmes. he led four years of an investigation, two impeachments and even when trump left office, he led the impeachment -- he led the investigation into january 6th. so sherlock holmes wants to investigate everything, but when
4:49 am
biden takes office and there are credible and so much evidence to prove that there was influence peddling by the former vice president, suddenly no investigation should take place. i don't understand how he can just sweep things under the rug while everyone -- while the entire world is watching, basically. lawrence honors as my grandma used to always say what is good for the goose is good for the gander. thank you all so much for getting up for the program so early today. we really appreciate it? >> thank you. >> thank you. >> thank you. >> lawrence: all right, carley. looks like you have headlines for us. >> carley: certainly do. princeton university offering new program to fund drag careers. drag universities university a year long curriculum to beach to the history of drag as well as the art form of drag through mentorship. the first eight applicants to the ivy league program will get a scholarship to fully cover the cost of supplies. i wonder what those supplies are the curriculum being backed by

>> janice: good morning, let's take a look at the weather maps. it is not fun in the northeast. an area of low pressure moved toward coast off shore, high pressure to north and the pressure gradient between those two things ushering moisture into the new york city area, where we have flash flooding occurring. heavy rain and flash flooding throughout the day today, some coastal flooding possible. we have converging winds setting up right now, this intense band of rain moving through new york city area. flash flood warnings, that red

shaded area there for the new york city region, getting two to three inches of rain an hour. flood alerts from new jersey toward connecticut and this is scenario throughout the day today and toward tomorrow and breezy conditions will continue through sunday. this will be nasty friday into saturday, sunday looking better, flash floods likely for parts of new jersey, long island toward new haven, connecticut, that is the big story. rest of the country, potential for showers and thunderstorms for florida and cooler weather for the west and snow for the mountains of california. foxweather.com, for more. over to you. >> steve: a lot going on. this morning on this friday, we have an update to a story we've been following, the united kingdom dropped the charges against a woman who was arrested for praying silently within a

so-called buffer zone outside an abortion clinic. watch. >> please ask you to step away from here outside the exclusion zone. you said you are engaging in prayer, which is the offense. you were engaging in prayer, it is an offense. >> ainsley: that woman, march for life co-director joins us now. good morning to you. >> good morning. >> ainsley: how do you feel, charges dropped for silently praying in a buffer zone. >> clearly i'm pleased the charges have been dropped. this has been going on for six months while they were investigating my alleged crime of silently praying. it shows the police force are becoming more political andide logic rather than upholding
4:59 am
civil liberties. >> steve: isabel, how do they know you are praying, if you are just standing there? >> absolutely. my initial arrest was based on the fact that i said i might be silently praying in my head and i was arrested. i it already been acquitted when i was arrested the second time. this is discrimination that somebody should be arrested for the fact their thoughts are directed toward god rather than toward anywhere else, which is what our prayer is, that is discrimination against religious beliefs. >> ainsley: didn't the secretary write silent prayer is not unlawful, and it is not a criminal offense, that sounds pretty sound to me. common sense. how, steve could be praying for you right now and you would never know it. >> yeah, the fact our home
5:00 am
secretary had to get involved in this situation shows the concerning situation we have here with how police forces are interpreting the law. over last year, we had record abortion figures in this country, highest ever abortion figures, 100,000 repeat abortions and only response from our government is clamp down on those who are offering alternatives to woman outside abortion centers and those offering silent prayers. >> steve: what is the moral to this story? >> that prayer has power. and even those who oppose us know that. >> steve: we found that out. isabel, thank you very much and congratulations. >> ainsley: there is nothing wrong with praying, thank you, it is beautiful. god bless you. >> thank you. >> ainsley: you're welcome. >> steve: it is exactly 8:00
