policy that prevents people from entering our country is inhumane. >> there will not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration. >> thus, last night's announcement by the biden dhs secretary that they were going to start building a wall on the southern border seemed like kind of policy whiplash, mayorkas cited an acute and immediate need to waive federal laws and begin building a border wall in south texas. now, when the news broke, many were shocked. but not the angle. we told to you expect this last month. the angle believes that the white house, may be, may be considering a move to at least have the appearance of tightening things at the border. now, just so you understand this, this is not because somehow joe biden who doesn't think about anything, about any of the people, puppeteers controlling biden have some policy epiphany on the issue, but because it's become a huge

political liability to them. and three weeks later, the biden people know they do have a full blown political crisis on their hands. and we're not just talking about the polling. >> the simple solution is no. turn the buses around. >> this is come in a community of black people where we already get the low scraps and you want to take the little scraps, the resources that they have and put us at the bottom of the barrel? that's not fair. >> we want them to have a limit on who can come across the border. it is too open right now. >> we're doing everything we can but we need more help from the federal government and we need more help overall to solve for this. >> of course, the white house is trying to have it both ways here. trying to reclaim some cred on the border while staving off a full-fledged rebellion from full left flank. pretending that the new biden border wall cass some budget tear requirement. >> the border wall money was appropriated for the border wall. i tried to get them to

reappropriate, to redirect that money. they didn't. they wouldn't. and in the meantime, there's nothing under the law than they have to use the money for what it was appropriated. i can't stop that. >> do you believe the border wall works? >> no. >> laura: okay. if this is their attempt at playing three dimensional chess, they shouldn't have involved the guy better suited to tossing around one of those big plastic beach balls at the senior center. the white house's explanation was so tortured that even the sympathetic press corps was pushing them on it. today's edition of story time with k.j.p. was one for the ages. >> what specific law would the administration be breaking if border wall not used especially because the funds are used all the time. why not go unused this time? >> well, look, i'm not going to speak to the law. i would have to refer you to the department of justice. i'm not a lawyer. all i can tell you we are -- this is a law that we are complying with. and we believe that in the rule

of law here and we are moving forward and getting that and following the law. >> laura: did she say the rule of law? these people are such frauds and now homeland security is trying to do a major clean up on aisle 3. claiming that the first statement they put out didn't really say what it really says. >> there is no new administration policy with respect to the border wall. from day one, this administration has made clear that a border wall is not the answer. that remains our position and our position has never wavered. >> laura: no, these people just aren't fanatics they are complete incompetence and bad liars and trump, he predicted all of it. >> if biden wins, your borders are gone, which means your healthcare is gone, the middle class is gone. your safety is gone. your country is gone. that's what's going to happen. >> laura: since election night 2020, millions of illegals knew

that no borders biden would give them a free pass and the cartels, well, they got their own free pass as well. now, they are rolling in cash while the bodies of overdose victims are rolling into the morgues across america. so, spare us any new fake sense of urgency on the border. this has been an ongoing emergency, a crisis of biden's own making. that they adamantly refuse to admit was a crisis for years. well, look, here's the bottom line. they want open borders, period. they will only even pretend to secure the borders if they feel enormous political pressure. and even then they are going to do as little as possible to enforce our laws. that's the truth. everything else, everything else is a lie. and the lies are going to continue and the crisis will grow until the american people change the party in the white house. and that's the angle. joining me now is texas lt. governor dan patrick, former new york congressman and gubernatorial candidate lee

zeldin and new york congressional candidate madeline brame. dan, let's start with you he is kind of building part of the wall in your state but he has also taken texas to court over those border buoys in the rio grande. what is going on here? >> so, after about 8 million people, hundreds from the terror watch list and thousands of criminals have already crossed the border, it's about damn time they do something. even if they want to pretend they don't want to do it. and this idea, laura, that while we can't let the money laying there. we have to follow the rule of law. we all know as you said it's a total fraud. it's a total lie. they have left that money sitting there for the entire administration so far. and they have had border wall material sitting on the ground for three years. we have tried to buy it over and over and over because we're building our own wall. they won't sell it to us. no, the only reason they are doing this is they know they are in deep trouble in 2024 on how they have mishandled the border and how it's impacting this country and voters.

>> laura: now, congressman zeldin, mayorkas had the gull to travel to try to understand the crisis better. okay? like he -- we didn't know what the crisis was. this is what he had to say about the victory on the border. >> we must continue to build on the progress we have made as we implement the model that is proven effective. a model that pairs the historic expansion of safe, orderly bostpathways to come to the unid states or elsewhere to obtain humanitarian relief. >> laura: at the end of the show put up photos from what i saw today at jfk airport this morning. migrants sleeping in the airport. this people walking by them. what's going on here? what's the truth about we had to spend the money excuse? >> if you listen closely what mayorkas is saying. he is acknowledging that this is a design. this is happening on purpose. even. >> laura: orderly? >> and they are letting all these people come in and what

they have done beyond construction of the border wall. they advance catch and release. they get rid of title 42 and get rid of remain in mexico. when governor pritzker sent his letter last week buried in the middle of it was a really interesting paragraph where is he suggesting that the white house have somebody in charge of leading on this issue. and that's their own damn governors and mayors rising up. i'm so happy that you were right a few weeks ago, because what i care more importantly than anything else that we secure our border. this is one small step. last point, if this is what they need to do to be legal today, were they violating the law yesterday or last month? i would say this is their job since they came into office but suddenly there is some special thing about this date in 2023. americans are smart enough to see through it. >> laura: expressing fury in

chicago and los angeles. what else behind this? >> what's behind it is that -- what they are trying to do, it's just a little bit too little too late. people have already had it up to here. you know, we see on a daily basis mothers, sitting on corners with infant babies, okay? panhandling, begging for money for food. that had to been an american money, c ps would have came and taken that child. we see people going in to stores and hotels, demanding that they give them whatever they want for free, all community, black and brown community. this is nothing new. this didn't just start

happening. now it's just amplified. >> a lot more people. >> a lot more different if you ask me. i can see it right around here. >> there's a lot more people. there is a serious sense of urgency and fear amongst the people in the black and brown communities because these people, these illegals are aggressive. they are very, very aggressive. they get drunk, these are alcoholics and drug addicts and they come just like the other day in harlem. not the other day the other month at lincoln correctional facility, all right? they -- an american was trying to stop them from arguing or fighting or whatever, they jumped on him and threw him through a glass door, all right? so, this is the kind of people that we are dealing with here. >> laura: remember when trump, dan, said when he came down that golden escalator and said they are sending their murderers. >> this the worst of the worst. >> laura: they piled on him. everybody knew who was fair minded and knew what he was

instead, they want to, you know, fast track tps. give you more goodies. >> laura: keep wages low. had you had been elicking countied governor not to blow smoke toward you, if you had been elected governor, what would have you done differently in handling this? how would have you reacted to this? because they would probably still send the migrants maybe not as many because you would be a republican. >> new york is a sanctuary state. new york city is a sanctuary city. they tried to give noncitizens the right to vote starting this november. >> laura: elections have consequences. >> unfortunately the courts threw it out. babylon. bee today had a clip where a family was going to a hotel in new york city. they were trying to get a few room. all dressed up as illegal immigrants. it's something that has people concerned about impact on education, on healthcare and other resources. it's breaking. >> laura: madeline, new york is moving to suspend the right to shelter mandate relieved of its obligations and the number of homeless people seeking shelter

grew by 50% over a period of time. now, talk about a little too late a little. we are going to get rid of the right-to-shelter in. 30 days in and 30 days out. that has been the rule in the shelter system for years. i know homeless people, a woman sits outside of my job. she has been sitting there for five years. okay. she will disa disappear for 30 days go back in. they are going to recycle these illegals through the shelter system. 30 days in, 30 days out. now, keep in mind these people are from hot climates, okay? what's going to happen well, a lot of them. all right? what's going to happen in the winter time when they find themselves outside? >> laura: there will be people dying in the street. dan, democrats will not.

even when people are dying in the streets, they will walk over the dead bodies of migrants or walk past the girls being trafficked which is happening all over new york city by the way on scooters. they are use offing those scooters to deposit prostitutes all over this city, right from the roosevelt hotel i had two police officers tell me that today. they don't care. they don't care. open borders is a fanatic addiction on their part. they want it, they want to change this country he. >> even heaven has borders. >> the great sin of this country was slavery. this is the second great sin of how they are destroying our country and they are absolutely destroying lives. american lives, people coming here, crossing the border, their life. they are under the thumb of the cartel. women being raped, children being sex trafficked. this is the second big sin and and it's the sin of the biden administration. he has blood on his hands. he has a cold hart. he doesn't care. you are right.

elite, but this active agenda to essentially commit the most horrible act of hatred toward women which to tell us we don't exist. democrat politicians in washington saying hey, if mike tyson were today say you know what? i identify as a woman he should be allowed to go and box against women competitively, it is salute insanity. they are denying the existence of objective truth and, therefore, they are saying that the experience of these swimmers in roanoke and other female athletes in high school and college literally saying this is just a manufactured narrative. not at all interested in listening to the voices of these girls and women who they simultaneously pro-guess to fight for as feminist and fighting for equality. they are not interested in the well-being of these girls and women at all. >> laura: yeah. so people say how do you get the women's vote? how do you get women to turn out and look for other political alternatives other than the democrats? this is one of the top issues

lily, who told us at the first practice, as a woman, the trans swimmer launched off the starting block with a full body's length advantage over the girl swimmers and with barely a week of training after taking a year off he came within one tenth of a second of breaking the school record. no kidding. >> this is somewhat what is so crazy, laura. it really blows my mind how these people, that's grown adults can stand there with a serious face and say well, there is no biological -- there is no advantage for a quote, unquote, trans woman. a biological male to compete against these biological females. it does not take a genius or a scientist to recognize there is a clear biological difference that begins to develop at a very, very young age. so, a competitive male swim his or her take as year off and takes some hormones and thinks that's it.

they almost did it. just last week that senator who you were just showing on the screen, he held the government funding up right until the last minute and almost shut our government down because he didn't like the fact there was no ukraine money in it. this is a parody. by the way we now know because of the leaked documents out of the biden administration. we now know what is going on in ukraine. this money is being used to completely overhaul the country. our money is being spent on reforming their banking system, on their education department, on teaching english in ukraine. teaching english. you can't teach english in american schools any longer and yet we are teaching it in ukraine and funding it? it's insane. it is totally insane. >> laura: i want to show you what the "wall street journal" reported about this, basically the u.s. and other donor nations effectively paid the salaries of 150,000 civil servants in ukraine and more than half a million teachers, professors and school workers not to mention government expenses ranging from healthcare to housing subsidies.
