shows a certain arrogance that they feel the american people won't care or won't notice. there are bigger immediate problems for ordinary people. this is a drop in the bucket. but when he was vice president meeting with business partners in the white house. joe biden is putting hunter biden's art into government commissions. the recklessness and the arrogance and they think the american people are stupid and don't care. ultimately it will be something that has to be adjudicated by the american people in the 2024 election. they have to say this is a factor? will be whole joe biden accountable or not? >> i guess they are counting on another drip of the washington intrigue. most will take our defense. you can count on that.

i don't want to speculate but how problematic is the investigations the house is causing if we want to get to the bottom of hunter and joe? >> they are investigating on a timetable. democrats are trying to run out the clock to take back the house and shut down the probe if the house is in chaos we are not doing the probe. everyday is critical to take such a long time you have to send letters every single day we lose to set us back in every direction on the probe no question. >> do developments like this register with voters or are bigger issues? >> it is register more than 70 percent of americans announce across the aisle the system is rigged to figure the elite and ruling class. that doesn't mean donald trump they say it's only when i can fight back so it's a big issue

a partial win 14 trump the appeals court halted the order to cancel the business certificates in new york. common sense while denying trumps request to put the entire trial on hold. the judge overseeing the classified documents case has pause litigation involving classified materials while she reviews the request to extend the deadline on the case. here with reaction we have great jarrett and professor alan dershowitz. i'm confused. i'm sure the viewers are confused. what do you take away from this in new york and other cases? >> i think the appellate court decision halting of the trial court judge and then ordered to get rid of the certificates and dissolve the trump busin businesses, the appellate court has serious concerns with the judges actions violate due process rights of other nonparty

persons and entities involved directly with the trump organization. they were given no notice, no right to be heard or defend themselves without authority. and the order to deprive them of the constitutional rights they are entitled to. he did under the new york consumer protection law. that is not protecting cons consumers. it is punishing consumers with the entire fraud trial brought under that statute. it is intended for cases where the general public has been injured. the public was not injured the bank made 100 million profits. insurance companies made out like bandits. the judge is misusing the statute allowing attorney general james to go after trump with fraud without proving the basic elements of fraud demanded by law. >> there is no injury.

we would see the judge mugging for the camera if it continued. the civil trial snuck up on a lot of people in the criminal trial he got so much press. now this is splashed on our screens. they want to take away his properties. the optics of it. i know you are in the legal minutia but could this build the case this is a get trump moment? >> she campaigned on a promise to get trump. and after her campaign pledge. if she doesn't she will lose her quest for reelection. she uses every possible tactic to get trump. i never heard of a case where the attorney general uses her resources not to stop crime or protect people but to protect banks that don't want to be protected. there is no victim. she admitted the other day if he

inflated real - - real estate holdings to get them on the forbes 400 list. is that a crime? who is defrauded as a result? if you go after somebody for fraud because he was showing off a little bit. then the judge makes the absurd determination evaluation should be based on tax records. i offered to buy the judges house for what the tax value is. i would love to also by mar-a-lago for 27 million and sell it 20 times that amount to the next day. it is one of the most absurd cases and the perfect example of the politicalization and weaponization of the criminal justice system just to get trump. >> greg jarrett do you see these delays taking hold?

that this will happen after the election? >> apparently the judge in florida put a pause on all of the deadlines in place of the classified documents case for the reasons i predicted long ago. on the air you have classified documents, national security issues. under the sixth amendment, trump has the right to a public trial. and the jurors have the right to see that classified information. they don't have security clearance so how in the world can you bring a case like this with those restrictions? and the judge apparently had an epiphany. we have a problem here. we cannot meet these deadlines.

we have to hammer out to present classified information in a public setting. in the end one of the solutions is to drop some if not all of the charges. >> last word, professor. >> the strategy is to get down and dirty before the election. it will be reversed after the election. they don't care. they want the impact and the judges have to stop that. they have to not allow the courts to be used to interfere with the election. >> it doesn't matter if the retraction comes one year later if the effect has been had. alan dershowitz and greg jarrett thank you. first day fell victim to the woke mob now the u.s. army plans major cuts. what is going on with our military? we will discuss as more of the special edition of hannity continues.
