>> good morning, everybody. it is thursday, october 12, 2023. 1:00 in the afternoon in gaza and israel and we start with a fox news alert. right now israeli forces carrying out relentless strikes in gaza at the idf ramps up counter attacks against hamas. this is day six of the war, more than 1200 israelis are dead, 22 americans have been murdered. >> the terrorists are holding at least 150 people hostage and idf says they'll not let up if siege of gaza till all of them are freed. >> secretary of state antony blinken is on the ground in israel. you see him there meeting with prime minister benjamin netanyahu and set to speak in

tragic scene all throughout the city. there's no end in sight and israelis say is this is the beginning of their response despite the fact there's thousands of strikes and air strikes and artillery strikes against gather s and israelis are receiving pushback for the amount of civilian casualties in gaza and the health ministry indicate that had 1200 people have been killed in the ziti really response to that saturday massacre. i want you to listen to president isaac herzog with a press conference earlier today. >> this directly about civilians not aware, not involved, it's absolutely not true. they could have risen up, they could have fought against that evil regime that took over gaza in a takeover. reporter: there's women and children dead inside gaza as a result of the israeli response

and it's a complex organization for the israelis and dozens of hostages and civilians and soldiers inside gaza and they'll do everything they can to clear a path and ultimately go in on the ground. i want to show you something else here. israeli forces say they found an isis flags in one of the communities along the border with gaza. we won't get too deep in the history of isis in gaza and traditionally hamas and the islamic state have not worked together. they've been enemies in gaza, and hamas pushed out islamic state fighters into egypt over the past several years and it's interesting that it appears they had this propaganda or even there's a possibility they participated in the attack. again, all we know is israeli forces found an isis flag in one of the border communities, but it gives you a sense of the people they're hanging out with, and they're not good people. back to you. >> trey, when we look at that scene and that wall behind you, when you think about if people were just standing there, it's
