jewish population in state of israel. hamas stand for not to just kill jews, but all over the world. people should have the same outrage when they see a swastika. >> lawrence: what is your message to young people on the street protesting with the hamas flag that say they don't stand with hamas, they stand with the palestinian people. what do you say to them? >> so many people are sensitive to everything going on today. we see hyper sensitivity in this world. when somebody stands with the flag believing they have a just cause. when you see women being brutalized and teenage girls being raped and babies being burned alive, it is okay to say that is wrong. it is an obligation. if someone wants to raise a
5:01 am
palestinian flag, they have to condemn the actions of hamas are terrible and should not be celebrated and those same people today are in fact celebrating what hamas did and that is very sad. >> lawrence: they do all that while screaming no justice, no peace. no justice for israel. maintain safety and vigilance, sir. third hour of "fox and friends" starts now. >> ainsley: this is fox news alert, in the last 20 minutes confirming an attack on u.s. military base in syria. drone attack at al tampf military base. >> brian: u.s. ambassador in lebanon is telling u.s. nationals to make plans to leave
5:02 am
the country as soon as possible. >> lawrence: sirens sounding in tel aviv and since we hit the air at 6, we have seen smoke rising near the border. >> ainsley: president biden home from israel, he pledged $100 million for gaza. he says israel was on board for. >> president biden: i don't know what you picked up in israel, but i got no pushback, virtually none. >> brian: the u.s. navy is sending another warship, u.s.s. mount whitney. in the united states, there is this. [cheering] >> ainsley: several hundred protesters arrested at the u.s. capitol rotunda building
5:03 am
chanting, "cease-fire now." we are seeing protesting popping up across the country. >> lawrence: we have team coverage. alexandria hoff is live at the white house ahead of president biden's prime time speech tonight and pete hegseth will talk. outside a home hit by hamas terrorists. trey, what can you tell us? >> moments ago, air raid sirens in the city of tel aviv, israel second largest city, sending people to bomb shelters. hamas and islamic jihad are still firing. we are with the israeli army in southern part of israel close to the gaza border. last hour you could hear the strike in the distance. lieutenant colonel richard hecht, what are we seeing here?
5:04 am
what took place in this community? first time journalists have been able to get here. >> we are in kibbutz and you have been telling the story well. the story of this house was stormed by hamas, isis style terrorist reading manuals and knew instructions. the family probably ran into their shelter, they have shelter rooms and had in procedure if that happened to take a tire and burn the house and smoke them out. many families probably suffocated and some people came out and got shot, slaughtered, carnaged or kidnapped. 400 people live in this community and a fourth have been kidnapped or killed. >> trey: we hear airstrikes in the distance, israeli are preparing for a ground operation
5:05 am
into gaza. take me through the mindset of an really soldier when they see the images here? >> you are hearing the air force in action right now from tel aviv. plans are being prepared, we are ramping up. the soldiers, the really public is angry. this won't affect us acting as professional military. we are attacking targets, targets based on intelligence, will not let rage affect our actions, we are not them, trey. >> trey: you heard from a top official in the army trying to get people into the communities so they could see what took place here. you heard the explosion and israel is striking targets. we are less than a mile from the gaza strip and can see the black smoke rising up from the
5:06 am
horizon. these targets getting hit along the border. there is understanding israel is just hours or days from entering gaza and conducting a wide-scale operation to destroy hamas and to totally demilitarize the gaza strip. guys. >> brian: have they fixed the fence where they busted through? >> trey: they haven't. they have not been able to work in the communities because it is so dangerous. i asked richard if he could confirm reports we saw this morning about militants still in southern israel? >> he said it is a very real concern. they have not been able to clear the fields and woods around this area. there are soldiers driving through this kibbutz near the border, they have weapons raised. this is an active war zone and they are worried about being
5:07 am
ambushed and worried about cross-border infiltration and watching what is happening in the north, understanding this could be beginning of a larger regional conflict. >> ainsley: thank you, excellent job. >> lawrence: to alexandria hoff live at the white house ahead of president biden's prime-time speech on the conflict. >> alexandria: the u.s. stands by their side in pursuit of self-defense. deal was made with egypt to allow for aid near the border crossing. the president, it is rare to make an address onboard air force one, he did that yesterday. >> president biden: blunt about the need to support getting humanitarian aid to gaza. get it to gaza and do it quickly. i don't know what you pick up in
5:08 am
israel, i got no pushback, virtually none. >> alexandria: president biden committed aid to gaza and the west bank and announced new sanctions against hamas. he will address the world from the oval office signifying the weight of the crisis in the middle east right now. at home, pro-palestinian protesters swarmed the capitol yesterday demanding a ceasefire, 300 were arrestd and far left sentiment caused a rift. john fetterman says now is not the time to discuss a ceasefire, he says hamas does not want peace, talk about that after hamas is neutralized. several protesters booted after
5:09 am
president biden ambassador to israel, jacob lu, working to quickly confirm lu who worked under president obama. >> lawrence: i know the democratic party is split on the issue. there is reporting from the daily bee saying sources with direct knowledge confirm many high-ranking muslim appointees are considering resigning because biden administration is not listening and the community is frustrated with him and isllama phobes are questioning his loyalty. as someone at the white house, have you heard this report about high-ranking officials or stach staffers considering resigning. >> alexandria: the president has come out with a strong stand
5:10 am
with israel, that is confirmed. it is not surprising if those reports prove true. >> brian: one state department official did resign. bring in pete hegseth, "fox and friends" weekend co-host. he's been invaluable since the incursion october 7. secretary of state dised by saudi arabia president and received a lecture and palestinian authority does not want to give them a time of day and jordan is not helping out. then the president gets blown off in three arab nation, but the uk foreign minister is seeing all of them. how do you explain how the arab world is responding to this white house? >> pete: weakness, irrelevant, administration they do not fear.
5:11 am
why are drones flying? because they are not, afraid of joe biden, when he speaks, you can barely hear and he doesn't speak the name of iran the enemy behind this. not to say we want to ratchet up, the other team, as if we are playing sixth grade soccer. not that i want a wider war with iran, that is not what i'm talking about. this is difference in approach. trump said if you harm the hair of an american, we are coming for you. you go all the way to israel and one thing you want to champion over and over again is 100 million in aid to gaza, when the group that controls where all the aid gets delivered is hamas, they control every aspect of
5:12 am
what aid. he said if it lands in the wrong hands. it will land in the wrong hands. joe biden flew to israel to sit there and feel their pain, which i appreciate, but their instincts, hold on, don't go hard here, deliver the aid and play into -- i appreciate that question. the overwhelming sentiment is to be pro-palestinian among staffers and appointees and as far as antony blinken, he went for seven hours. imagine we are in middle of 9/11 and secretary of state from another country in our war room for seven hours telling us what to do, include holding back so
5:13 am
innocents aren't targeted and they have to delay their ground incursion? doesn't make sense. >> ainsley: we would not allow him to be in the room with us. we have sent now three u.s. warships to eastern mediterranean area. we are on standby. any chance you think u.s. troops will be involved and be there on the ground? >> pete: i don't know what assets we have on the ground, whatever we have is covert. israel since 1948, have been proud of the fact they defended themselves. they will do that in this war, as well. if those carrier groups are used properly, they are there to deter hezbollah in lebanon from
5:14 am
getting involved once israel goes into gaza. can this administration deliver that message effectively or not? may we give support in certain ways? sure. i don't think you will see marines on the ground other than reinforcing embassies. israel wants to defend themselves. they buy weapons from us and will they get bunker bombs? we'll see. but it won't be american troops on the ground because israel wants to do it themselves. when isis was defeated, it is because we let them kill bad people. rules of engagement. let people kill people who deserve to die in gaza. >> brian: hezbollah starts taking down and doing significant damage to tel aviv. if they decide to get in full board, do we send tomahawks over
5:15 am
there in support? >> pete: for israelis to use? boy, i don't know. i would -- i don't want a wider war. if this was the trump administration, i would support what they would do, it would be seen as strength saying don't go an inch further we are messengers will do more and take out your nuclear sites. i don't have faith this administration would deliver such a message properly and would do it properly without stumbling into a wider war like they have done so far in ukraine by improperly handling that and look at the disaster in afghanistan. i don't trust instinct of this admin straight /* administration. >> lawrence: many folks have the
5:16 am
hamas flag openly calling for jihad. we have a congressman in rashida tlaib who stood with protesters, she is on the financial services committee that manages the treasury and sanctions put on these countries. what is your reaction to her tears yesterday, when she had no tears when asked about the israeli babies beheaded and women raped. >> ainsley: i think we have the sound. >> lawrence: play it. >> people will not forget this. it is not a threat, that is what is painful. it is to continue to watch people think it is okay to bomb a hospital with children. what is so hard is watch ing people telling kids don't cry.
5:17 am
president biden, not all of america is with you on this one and you need to wake up and understand that. we are literally watching people commit genocide and killing majority just like this and still stand by and say nothing. >> lawrence: that was the warning to joe biden, pete. >> pete: i couldn't understand all of that, that is midday wednesday, by then the intelligence was very clear what happened with the so-called bombing at the hospital. anyone who looked at evidence understood it was spun to look like an israeli strike. it was fired by islamic jihad, they use hospitals or schools as launch sites. jihad and hamas killed their own people. we know where rashida tlaib stand, what her allegiance is,
5:18 am
she is part of the hamas caucus, supports their efforts. if you are protesting for ceasefire and palestinian cause, you are in concert with the efforts of hamas. i understand there is complexities and know about the complexity of the israel-arab conflict going on for centuries. this is not that. if you know complexity and understand hamas targeting what they did complicates the situation. condemn hamas and look for a solution, by standing with israel and getting rid of a terrorist organization. we know who rashida tlaib is. >> ainsley: hard to change the hearts of terrorists because they are indoctrinated from a young age. one guy, son of a hamas leader, one of the founders and brian interviews him earlier, years
5:19 am
ago and we wanted to have him on the show today. he became a christian. he was arrested a bunch of times and treated like a prince when he was under hamas because they were the leaders. listen to what he said and we'll get your reaction. >> hamas is serving -- talking about iran and russia lately. hamas serve those parties and iran pays them close to a billion dollars annually. iran is the real master in this picture. hamas does not serve the palestinian people, hamas serve iran, the masters of hamas. so they like about nationalism, there is national movement, look at them using people as human shield. free gaza from hamas. this is what israel is doing, doing the palestinian people the greatest favor by bringing hamas
5:20 am
down. >> ainsley: in your experience, are you confident we can bring hamas down and eradicate it? >> pete: not without calling out iran, that is why he's correct to point to the source and have administration that won't point to the source, whatever efforts complete. similar of israeli military, they will be able to clear that area of the fighters in the area when they decide to do that. holding it, deconstructing it, disma dismantling, the apparatus of hamas is not military organization, they were elected and held that position and control school, education, indoctrination of kids there, who are led to believe jews must die, christianings must die, from the river to the sea iran
5:21 am
is great standard barrier. i don't think israel knows outcome here, too. you need to get hostages out and kill every last fighter in hamas and do something about qatar, too. qatar is complicit and you have hamas leaders in qatar operating. i hope they send hassad over there for them. >> brian: we will help with negotiation on the hostage release, it helps hamas is actually in your living room. you could ask them where the people are. let's talk about something important to you. go ahead. >> lawrence: ivy league schools are among top recipient of 8.5 biltion, including your almamater, harvard, where kids did a die-in yesterday.
5:22 am
from standpoint of ideology and you have been talking about this for years, are we too far gone when it comes to kids understanding the history? >> pete: i mean, yes, ivy league schools are too far gone. they are hedge funds that teach classes and will take money from anybody. they lost their compass centuries ago. harvard was founded for puritans and the leader is now an atheist. they found institutes, middle eastern groups, who pump propaganda in minds of young kids. most kids come from elite middle schools and high schools and have already been indoctrinated
5:23 am
and are ready to be activists. the images are stunning and it is reflection of not getting history or western civilization or biblical traditions and as a result, whatever is the thing of the last 15 minutes is what they are for and whoever is oppressed is who they will champion. >> brian: ton of money. >> ainsley: a lot of big families support israel and say we are not giving you money anymore, ivy league. >> brian: leading the hegseth family. >> ainsley: coming up next, a fox news exclusive. >> brian: and nicole parker is here to reacts, she is here now. i understand the veteran mentality. these are people who have served. they've been in leadership positions. they're willing to put their life on the line if necessary. and they come to us and they say, i need some financial help
