are pretty pro palestine but look at broad base of the democratic party, this is a party that supports israel and it's our only democracy in the middle east and of course biden has a longterm relationship with bb netanyahu and he's trying to push back against this pro palestinian tide. >> interesting, even the state department spokesperson today issue ago warning to the media not to jump to conclusions in the wake of the hospital blast. thank you so much for joining us on all of that. by the way, chad pergram reporting on the drama over the house speaker and congressman mike law herrera thinks they should bring kevin mccarthy back and word that jim jordan might want to take this other vote later tonight. that would be a lot with the president's address. thanks for joining us. i'm sandra smith and the five starts right now. greg: i'm greg gut field and

2:04 pm
the border is insecure? no, he's going to ask for money and say we have to take an otoxies and terrorism and america is the leader of the free world ragaini ragaini ragaini. the american people aren't in that mood for a speech. he'll probably get the money but he has to put it in the context of why is this important to us and this is noted a good venue for him and most venues are not good for him. when he went into the back with the press on air force one, that was probably the worst i'd seen anymore a long time. i shouldn't expect much and the american people shouldn't expect much tonight.

2:06 pm
they shouldn't. given the fact we're now on the verge of a multi-front war, we know now that hezbollah is flexing its muscles and israelis and arabs and the west bank are getting energized also. biden because of what has happened must prove to the world tonight that it was not israel that threw a bomb at a hospital. i want to ask you, greg, have you seen a bombed out hospital? has anyone at this table seen it? anyone seen a bag of 500 palestinian body bags, 00? even now they're saying between 10 and 50. all right, there's no bomb prater. i talked about this yesterday. the fuel that caused the fire is in a parking lot next to a courtyard next to a hospital. and yet the world is ready to go on fire to believe a lie that joe biden could put the truth to it immediately. and israel is a victim here, not

relevant but not particularly to this moment. i would like it to be actually quite narrow in terms of what's going on with the october 7 israel war. and then what the implications are to america, to your point, jesse. why should we care? he has the american people behind him and look at support for israel, it's through the roof except with younger voters. so people 25 and under and we've talked a lot about how that's kind of exploding online and proliferating so much disinformation about what has happened here. but he has to make it relevant and explain why this money is deserved, how it protects our interests. that we have one ally in the -- one true ally in the middle east. we can make friends with saudi arabia as it pleases and do deal withs them, but it's israel for us. enormously strong message to the world by going there and it's the second war zone that a man who i hear can't find his own pants was able to visit. then he gets on a plane and does

three or four hours with the press and he doesn't usually do that and maybe he was low energy and spent time to talk to them and listen to all their questions and then comes back and does an oval address. something that's incredibly important that i'm sure he will use to be able to make his ways to the american people and he's defied expectations on every single front. israelis are thrilled and netanyahu said he couldn't have a better partner and talking about republican and democratic administrations. in terms of the gaza aid, 100 million is a lot of money but you have to consider the fact that the un made it clear that israel has now committed war crimes and that's going on in gaza and they say that hamas committed war crimes on the israel side and now if you let 2 million people sans the ones that already died, 1500 gazans have passed away from this, if you don't even make the effort to try and get humanitarian aid to them, then joe biden becomes
2:11 pm
a president that oversaw war crimes. so he has to message that and what the idf, what the ziti rail lees do with that message and he had to signal to the american people and world that he cares about all innocent humans on both sides of this. >> i think his message could be extremely simple. if i were president and some say i already am, you'd have to bring clarity in the situation and we're dealing with the here and now and not history. you can't change history and the passion of the coeds comes off so it yacht ick. it's a game with no end and reason for that. if he's watching and he probably is and loves the five, repeat
2:12 pm
after me, we're dealing with now and not history, the attack on october 7. that is here, that is now. deal with it. israel is dealing with it and we're right behind them. that's all you have to say. >> it's going to be quick. >> i'll be at dinner at 8:03. >> nancy pelosi and other top democrats are refusing co-call out radical rashida tlaib's idiotics for the gaza hospital t blast. seemed like the thing to do. but he was getting picky, and we started noticing some allergy symptoms. we heard about the farmer's dog and it was a complete transformation. his allergies were going away and he just had amazing energy. it's a no-brainer that remi should have the best nutritious and delicious food possible. i'm investing in my dog's health and happiness. ♪ get started at longlivedogs.com
