11:00 pm
responded to our foia request and released their report with some redactions to the report. obama was on the scene shortly after campbell went missing. report also states an unmanned staffer jumped into the water, went too far. he fell off his board, but it was already too late. he disappeared. we also now know that secret service has surveillance footage of campbell from obama's compound moments before he entered water. so we're going to see if we can get that and we may have that for you. again, we're very, very sorry for it. too far. his family. that was a serious, serious tragedy. >> and we'll have more on monday with, frankly, four fingers. we're not going to want to miss it. dvr the show and always remember, i'm waters and this is my world. >> and welcome to hannity.
11:01 pm
and tonight, amid all of the chaos at home and abroad, a bombshell new development from the biden family business or syndicate, if you prefer, or if you're in fulton county, georgia, you might want to call it an enterprise. now, for months, the media mob, they were telling us, oh, joe biden couldn't possibly be corrupt because he never took any direct payments, although that's not what the bribery statute says, if it enriches a family member, that is just as bad anyway. well, they're going to need a brand new lie and excuse because the house oversight committee just uncovered a large direct payment to joe biden in the form of a $200,000 check. a personal check from james biden marked as a loan repayment. now, this occurred on the very same day that a struggling company allegedly hoping to use the biden's family influence to open doors. wired james biden, that exact amount of money. what a coincidence. anyway, the chairman of the
11:02 pm
house oversight and accountability committee, james colmer, will join us with details. that's straight ahead tonight. also tonight, we are monitoring the house speaker battle now, florida congressman byron donalds. he has now officially thrown his hat in the ring. plus, we're going to show you exclusive video from my time in those tunnels built by hamas during my visit to israel in 2014. the money was supposed to be used for schools and hospitals and infrastructure. but hamas, the terrorist organization, they always control the money and that is what they spent it on. what is now a series of tunnels? you know, you got a map of tunnels there. anyway, joe biden still wants to give them a $100 million in humanitarian aid. that's coming up. also coming up, retired four star general david petraeus join us with analysis from israel's war with hamas. but first, breaking news from the middle east tonight. as israeli are now lined up on its southern border with gaza. ahead of what is an imminent
11:03 pm
ground war against hamas. we are told the green light has been given. it can happen at any moment. a town in northern israel was evacuated today after the terror group hezbollah. they ramped up attacks from lebanon. >> keep in mind, the islamic republic, iran. they backed both hamas and hezbollah. and all attacks against israel and israel may soon be forced to conduct a two front war against both groups. and meanwhile, you have soldiers that are stationed in iraq and syria. now, they have repeatedly come under attack in recent days by other iranian backed groups, including multiple rocket and drone strikes inside of iraq and another strike in syria where american soldiers were injured. and just yesterday, us s carney, an american destroyer in the red sea, shot down multiple missiles and drones headed for israel, launched by yet another iranian backed group, this one in yemen. now the biden, obama, blinken
11:04 pm
and all the other democrats that just love giving billions and billions of dollars to iran, the number one state sponsor of terrorism and easing sanctions. what were you thinking? iran is now funding major terrorist groups in gaza, in lebanon, in iraq and syria and yemen. these groups have murdered thousands of american soldiers in iraq. they have killed an untold number of civilians. they have also repeatedly taken americans as including just two weeks ago during the worst terror attack, israel's history. thankfully, we do have some good news tonight. two of those hostages have been released. a 17 year old girl and her mother from chicago. ten other americans are still being held by hamas somewhere in. gaza. around 200 others are also being held hostage. none of this would have happened without funding weapons and training from iran. yet, during his and pretty
11:05 pm
pathetic speech last night, joe biden barely mentioned iran . and sadly, the biden administration doesn't have the resolve to even deal with it. of course, biden himself doesn't have the ability to do much of anything. >> that was clear this week. and of course, this weekend he's back at the beach in delaware for a very relaxing time, fighting with his beach chair. a very challenging few days really took it all out of them. but the israeli prime minister, benjamin netanyahu, he does have the moral clarity and he does have the resolve to do what is necessary. so, mark my words tonight, if israel is forced to fight a two front war against hamas and hezbollah, the two terror groups, ultimately they will be destroyed. and if iran if they if they get involved directly, they are threatening, i will say all bets are off. and could impact the entire middle east and the mullahs. they will come to regret their decades of death, destruction, world terrorism.
11:06 pm
but tonight, there are only two ways that this current conflict between hamas and israel will come to an end. the full and unconditional surrender from hamas, with all the hostages returned alive or ,the complete and total destruction of hamas, the hamas sympathizer, as is on the left in this country and around the world, who are now demanding a cease fire. they are living in a fantasy world. they are detached from reality . now, this coming war is going to be long. it is going to be difficult, but it is frankly, sadly, it is unavoidable. you have good, decent human beings and the terrorists of hamas. they cannot coexist together. it can't happen. former secretary of state mike pompeo. he will join us in just a moment. but first, on the ground in israel with the very latest, it. 4:05 a.m. in the morning, our friend, co-host of america reports john roberts, is with us. john, i know you've been working hard all week. again, thank you for staying up late tonight. what's the latest.
11:07 pm
>> it's only 905 eastern time and that's what we're operating on. shot. the good news, as you pointed out, that the two hostages, judith and natalie, were non were released late night israel time. but that still means that there are ten americans being held hostage along with some 200 israeli and a number of people from other countries as well. the secretary of state, antony blinken, in announcing their release earlier today, said that he urges, not urges he demands hamas release all of the remaining hostages without condition. he also cautioned the press not to take anything that hamas says as face at face value. and the reason he asked that, they said that response, john, was because he was asked the question as to whether or not it should. john. not just it's. yeah. ahead, if i may interrupt you, we're going to come back to you. we're going to get back to your report. but we do have breaking news just happening right now. the father of the two american hostages released is now speaking.
11:08 pm
>> so you just have just more on the emotions of this moment. i mean, when you when you realize this was happening. my daughter is fine. my ex-wife is fine. they are free. what was in your heart? oh, big relief. big, big relief. i thank god. and i hope for at least of the other hostages. >> what was the first thing you said? i told her i love you. i miss you very much. and i spoke to her for a minute or two. but it was a very, very. >> what what did you when the president talked about what did you say? i just thank you for his efforts. he told me he knows how i feel. how he's working on the release of other hostages, american hostages. and that's said for the families of the other hostages people unaccounted for. i say pray and hope for good.
11:09 pm
>> i'm sorry. i can have a feeling knowing that they were the first to. oh, was the best feeling. it was the best feeling. can you introduce us to these lovely ladies behind you? >> my wife i, my sister segun, and my laila. >> did anybody want to any of you want to say something? cigar? you. you have to say. how? i'm so happy for your son. i'm so happy for you're finally coming home. we've all missed you so much. hope that you were alive and safe. and we know you're so brave and strong. and that's how you and your mom made it through this. >> can you say your name is the yankees creator of our idea, al. oh, and i. so 19.
11:10 pm
i don't know. i love natalie so much. i have faith in the world. i have faith in peace. i want to thank everybody who was involved, bringing in bringing them back safely. i express how happy we are. i think it's the best day of our lives now to go. >> natalie and judith, we love you so much. and we couldn't wait to. see you here. we're going to see you hopefully next week. and we're going to celebrate. we're going to have a big party and we're going to hug you and kiss you and we're just going to this is a small joy in our family, but hopefully for all the other hostages and all the other families, just keep praying and hopefully good news will come. >> you say. >> yes. seagal. sagal and the last name on on solving samuel z. >> m, i think p0la
11:11 pm
rana fernanda. when his trip natalie, the last time she was in israel four years ago, for the last time natalie was in israel was four years ago. she went to celebrate her grandmother 85th birthday and for the holiday to israel. and she was very, very happy to go to israel. and she went to the kibbutz to be with the grandmother for three days. and then that's what they kept to her. sir, do you have any indication why judith and natalie, they are the first with them on this day. i no idea. there were reports that it was a humanitarian effort, that judith wasn't in good health. have you gotten any information
11:12 pm
along those lines? >> she got a scratch in her hand. there was something very minor, so nothing knows. no, no, no. if you have those of things like how she's coming back, i think there are how many of her. >> i think it's just a matter of luck. i have no idea. have you been reunited with any family there or just with the idf? just with the idf. do you know? i think so. i'm positive. other hostages, families, i've been losing touch with one grandmother that our son is held captive, although she lives close by. and we've been talking for a couple of times and be praying for the returns. sir, do you know where they are
11:13 pm
right now or are they at the u.s. embassy or are they with the israelis? >> that are always israelis? >> yes. would you give what message would you send to another family just to keep praying and hope for the best? no, i do not know. >> i have other family needs. i have two sisters and cousins and i do have other families. thank you, sir. i thank you very, very much. thank you. thank you to the family of the two hostages, american hostages released earlier today. a mother and a daughter from chicago. that is their family. that was their father. but they are now free. go back. we continue with john roberts, who's in israel tonight reporting for us john.
11:14 pm
>> before we get back to your reporting and the update on the news, it's something you and i were chatting about earlier. the things that we know, the things that we have seen, a lot of the american people have not seen. we know that there are many images and videos that have been put online of hamas terrorists holding babies that they have taken hostage and hostage videos that they have released. we have also seen and these are images you can never get out of your head of some of the beheadings, including of beheaded babies and charred babies burnt to death. this is the agony that every one of these 203 confirmed by the idf families is going through. one bit of good news tonight, and we can only hope it happens to all the other families as well. >> and not forget that judith and natalie, roland were at the kibbutz near oise, which is literally right next door to gaza. right beside the fence.
11:15 pm
>> i mean, you could throw a baseball and hit the fence from their house and. 100 people were massacred at that kibbutz. so the fact that they were taken hostage, a was a miracle and not killed in the fact that they've gotten out of gaza now. is a miracle as well. but again, as we remind, there's still ten americans that are being held, almost 200 israelis at a number of other nationalities. now, this this has driven, sean, a push on israel to delay the ground operation in hopes that negotiations through qatar might bear more fruit to release more hostages, in this case, an extra measure of momentum as president biden was washington today as he was walking up the stairs to air force one, a reporter shouted out, should the ground invasion be delayed? while negotiations continue to try to get more hostages out? the president said yes, which caused the white house to suddenly backpedal a few minutes later and say the president wasn't saying
11:16 pm
yes, the ground invasion should delayed. the president misheard the question and was simply saying, yes, more hostages should be released. as you and i have been chatting offline. sean, this ground invasion likely is imminent. we don't know exactly the timing of it. we thought that it might happen today, but it is shabbat today. maybe later on today after the sun goes up and then goes back down again is another opportunity for the idf to invade. we don't know. by the way, one other piece of news that came of the president's fundraiser in washington, d.c. today was, that he believes that at least a part of the reason why hamas launched this horrific terror attack back on october the seventh was to derail the negotiate actions between saudi arabia and israel over the normalization relations. the president said that hamas knew that he was about to sit down with the saudis so that something else for us to chew on tonight amid all the rest of this shot. >> i think that was a big part
11:17 pm
of it in so different ways. but i think you do raise a good point. you know, was this of hostage of these two hostages? was this designed to delay what now inevitable, which is the ground war? clearly, it imminent. we just don't know exactly when. you know, i'm not a big believer in the in ransom payments for hostages. one of my biggest criticisms about the the, what, $6 billion that the president was willing to give iran in for five american hostages. to me, ransom payments result in more hostage taking. however, there might be incentive is that i think israel could offer gaza. they want the lights turned back on. similarly, they would like the water turn back on and. they would like, you know, other utilities turned on. maybe that would be something you could negotiate for the release of all hostages. the president wants to give $100 million in aid to the palestinian people. humanitarian relief. i don't believe a penny of that
11:18 pm
will get to the people. and i believe that money will be in the pockets of. hamas. but perhaps they could also insist on the release of hostages. on that point, again, it's not my policy, but it's clearly is his. >> any thoughts on that? yeah, you know, the reason why hamas took the hostages was this very reason. i mean, hamas knew that the israelis about to go in. and so it dangled a carrot to say, oh, wait a minute, let's muddy the waters here by releasing a couple of hostages. and it's great, sean, it's fantastic news that the hostages were released. but at the same time, hamas has still got, you know, 200 and some odd bargaining chips left to go. so the next time israel's poised to go in, we're going to release a couple of more hostages. delay it again. watch for this tactic to be repeated. that's why anthony blinken said at that news conference today in announcing the of these hostages, don't put any stock in, anything that hamas says or china has.
11:19 pm
>> roberts great reporting all week. thank you, as always, for staying up late with us all week long. we appreciate it. here now with reaction, fox news contributor, former secretary of state mike pompeo. i have a lot of questions for you tonight, mr. secretary. please be patient with us. let's first, get your reaction to the the release of these two american hostages. in principle, i am against ransom payments for hostages. i really am, because i think it will result in more hostage taking. however, joe biden did make that offer to iran. and i think that worked out terribly. and i thought it was a bad idea. however, i think israel might have some negotiating room, not necessarily a ransom payment, but they could turn the water back on and the lights back on and services back on. if they released if they released a hostages. >> would that be an area you might support? >> well, sean, to listen to that talk about his family coming home is just joy.
11:20 pm
>> it is love. it was wonderful to hear. i sitting here just brought brought me to tears. it's been a long two weeks for all of the families that have been held hostage and those who lost loved ones on october 7th. you know. >> as for the decision about when israel will go in, i think that's their decision to make. and i've begun to hear a lot of americans talking about, well, this would this would be something we should discourage the israelis for doing this. this is very necessary if we're going to prevent that from being another ten american hostages and then another ten american hostages. you're going to have to take out hamas jot and tittle, and then the united states is going to have to go after the primary actor, which is the islamic republic of iran. last night, president biden said in a speech, he says, we're going to continue to hold iran accountable. i mean, it would be laughable if it wasn't so darn dangerous, sean. dangerous for every one of us. every every american danger. for every israeli danger for the saudis, the emiratis, the kuwaitis, everybody in the region. this is the world's largest state sponsor of terror. they killed 30 americans on october seven and they
11:21 pm
her grandmas. they killed babies. and this cannot be the case that. >> the defeat of hamas stops. what happened? it has to be the case that iran is held accountable. we have the capacity to do that. and president biden has the responsibility if he's going to deter further aggression and, more american hostages being taken. it is not going to be by writing them big checks, making them wealthy is going to be by imposing real costs on them. and we know how to it. >> i think you will agree with me, mr. secretary, that the goal has to be that gaza can no longer be launch zone for what has over the years now been and tens and tens of thousands of rockets fired into neighboring israeli cities. i have been there. i have seen the damage, the of sarah wrote has literally had 10,000 rockets by the time i went there a number of years ago, fired into that one city in ten years, 10,000 rockets as the only takes seconds from the minute it's fired to land,
11:22 pm
which is why kids playing bunker playgrounds. so it doesn't one of their major objectives have to be to prevent that from becoming a launching pad again . it's their duty. it's the israeli government's duty to prevent from happening. and again, i heard you say, sean, that you had been in those tunnels. they need to eliminate the tunnels as well and then prevent them from being rebuilt . it's now pretty clear when the israelis pulled out in 2006, hamas had absolutely no intention of making life better for anyone living in that place. they had the singular intention of continuing to build out along with the islamic republic patron. build out a system that could wipe jews from what jews out of israel that can't be permitted to happen. israel's going to have to take this down. and then the harder task of making sure it's not rebuilt, if we had those kind of missiles landing in united states from foreign. so i promise you the united states would have the responsibility to prevent it from ever happening again. and we would take that. no matter what any other
11:23 pm
country told us. >> what many may forget is your prior role prior to becoming secretary of state with the you are the head of the cia. you do know a thing or two about intelligence. i'd never been to langley, except i came once to have a meeting with you. and it was actually very eye opening. i felt like i was in a real jason bourne movie. but on a serious note, when the media in this country and worldwide, and i'm talking about all the media abc, nbc, cbs, mbs, dnc, cnn, fake news, the new york times, "the washington post", when they all came out quoting hamas propagandist saying that israel was responsible for the attack on this hospital and that killed 500 people. meanwhile, it didn't even hit hospital. it hit a parking lot and took out a couple of cars, but that went worldwide. and as a result, israel was put in the horrific position of having to defend itself and prove to the world that it was not true.
11:24 pm
and in doing so, they had to reveal their intelligence methods and capability to the entire world. obviously, the terrorists that they had on tape likely didn't know they being taped. and now that the world knows this, they gave up a very important piece of their national security and think i can't even calculate the damage that the media did israel in this. >> your thoughts? >> yeah, it's very real, shawn. look, they should be ashamed of themselves, but we know that that's seldom the case with the "new york times" and the washington post. we what they did talking about the laptop. we saw what they did talking the russia hosting the russian hoax narrative. they never even bothered to correct themselves. they just collect their prizes, the pulitzer prizes, and move on with their lives. in this case, they did two terrible things in this case by buying a storyline from hamas. i mean, think about that shot, buying a stroller from. they put that blood on their hands. there were people injured. there were riots.
11:25 pm
our embassies were under assault. and second, they haven't even it yet. and now israel's had to go out and share both a set of information and some tools that they had, which will change how israel is able to collect to save further israeli lives and frankly, american lives, too. it was reckless. it was certainly dangerous. and i hope that every one of them will go out and say, we got it wrong. >> we apologize was our fault, and then put processes in place for preventing this kind of misinformation from being foisted around the world when they had no reason to believe there was any evidence that this was an israeli system that actually hit us, had executed a strike inside gaza. >> okay. let's assume this becomes, mr. secretary, a two front war. let's assume that they are battling hezbollah in the north and they are battling gaza in, the south. also, we have to add this fact, and that is the iranians are saying your time is up. they have threatened their own involvement in this conflict. now, if i may add to all of
11:26 pm
that we have, iranian rockets and drones have targeted us in iran and syria. >> so iran is involved in the plotting, planning and scheming. they're providing the weaponry ,fighting proxy war after proxy war. now they're threatening direct involvement and they are directly involved in the attacks against americans. what should the u.s. role under biden be? what should that doctrine be? based on what we know they are responsible for right now? he doesn't seem to want to talk about iran very much. >> john, first, the fantasy of appeasement needs to be disabused from anyone working in the united states government that they need to that the idea that somehow you're going to appease your way out of this conflict is pure folderol. and it resulted in 30 dead americans and now still almost dozen americans being held. and so real simple, first you would go reimpose the economic sanctions. you would impose price, an economic price on the islamic republic of iran. >> a second.
11:27 pm
>> if you just go back at the proxies, if you just take out the knuckleheads who have been paid to go kill, if that's all you do, and the ayatollah and president raisi sit in tehran, they'll be laughing . >> that is, they will kill americans with their proxies and the americans will simply kill their proxies. we can't let that be the case. you talked about my time at cia. >> we have many tools, sean with which to respond to this. there's a wide range of options that can be presented to the president of united states to make very clear to the ayatollah that can't continue what you have been doing instead of giving them $6 billion for hostages. we should have told them, if you don't give those hostages back, we will begin to impose costs. that's the way we got hostages without paying a nickel for them. it works. we can protect america, can restore deterrence. >> but we have to be clear that appeasing iran will never get us to that place where we can be safe, secure, and the middle east be safe and secure and prosperous as well. >> how damaging has the biden policy on energy been to rely
11:28 pm
on the lifeblood of the world's economy, on countries many of whom don't particularly like us? why did joe biden and what are the consequences of his decision to allow iran opt to once again be able to sell their oil on the open markets? can you even explain to this audience in any reasonable way, the thinking behind giving billions of dollars to the number one state sponsor of terror? i have a hard time understanding the thought process behind that. what part of the of terrorism that we're witnessing in the proxy wars that they're fighting, they not understanding? >> john, i can't explain it. i wish i could. i after i can articulate someone's views, even if they're different from mine. this fox news alert. i'm anita vogel in new york. the us office of palestinian affairs confirming the rafah
11:29 pm
border crossing between gaza and egypt will open in about 30 minutes. that's 10 a.m. local israel time. once it's up and running, foreigners would be able to leave the besieged palestinian enclave. while much needed aid can be brought into gaza. more than 2 million palestinians are facing shortages of food, water and medicine, which prompted president biden to strike a deal with israel and egypt to open the rafah border crossing. but after the white house announced the deal to allow 20 trucks of aid into gaza, there have been negotiations, though israel has voiced concerns about the aid getting into the hands of hamas. that's the gaza based militant group whose deadly surprise attack on israel earlier this month killed more than 1400 people. some 200 people are also being held hostage, two of them in american mother and her teenage daughter were released friday.
11:30 pm
the girl's father says he spoke to his daughter and that they will be able to return to the us early next week once again, the us office of palestine affairs says the rafah border crossing between gaza and egypt will open in about 30 minutes. that's 10 a.m. local israel time. once it's open much needed aid should be able to flow into gaza. israel has voiced concerns about these deliveries, fearing it would land in the hands of hamas. the opening of the rafah border crossing would also allow foreigners to leave the area. stay with fox news channel for more developments on this story. for right now, we will take you back to regular programing already in progresse you back to regular programming already in progress. hill to get there. it's kind of breathtaking money that should have been used for humanitarian purposes. first, the squad and their far left allies have made a big
11:31 pm
show about calling for a cease fire in the israeli hamas war this week. now on its well, maybe that sounds innocent, right? well, just calling for an end to all violence. think about it for a second. a cease fire now would mean that israel gives up the right to defend itself from the single worst mass murder terrorist attack in their history. israel not want this war. israel did not start this war. but i will tell you, i predict here with a lot of confidence tonight, a high degree of confidence that israel will win this war and forever an end to hamas and their use of gaza as their rocket launching site where they fire tens and tens and tens of thousands of rockets into israel. small and cities alike. but congresswoman omar doesn't seem to care about any of that. >> take a look at the firing of hamas terrorists continue. do you think that israel should
11:32 pm
just lay down their arms and not try to get the hostages out about that? how could israel have a ceasefire with terrorists whose entire mission is wipe out? you're watching an elevator. >> how can they have a ceasefire if they're trying to wipe out this crazy lady the morning and later in the day. >> congresswoman omar said this. take a look. where is your humanity? how do you look at one atrocity and say this is wrong? but you watch as bodies pile up ,as neighborhoods are leveled. israel has dropped more bombs in the last ten days than we dropped in a whole in afghanistan. where is your humanity? where is your outrage? >> where is your care? where was that speech when israel had the worst terror attack and children were
11:33 pm
beheaded and burned and women and all these israelis lost their lives, the others taken hostage. where was that outrage from you? congresswoman i ask. you know, when with the squad spewing nonstop like that, is it any wonder that some more progress of jewish-americans, they are now starting to realize that the left is not and frankly, has not been for a long time their side. here with more, texas congressman dan crenshaw, a fox news contributor. jason chaffetz. jason, let's get your reaction to that, not only to congresswoman omar, but congresswoman tlaib. and after all of the evidence came out that, in fact, israel had no no responsibility at all whatsoever with, you know, all the proof that you could ever want. she was still accusing israel of killing 500 and bombing that hospital. >> does it matter what the evidence shows? >> well well, the squad has never been tethered to truth
11:34 pm
and to justice and to to. i mean, that's just not who they are. they're totally fine with killing jews and killing killing israelis. you never hear them shed a tear or or express anything publicly about that. but heaven forbid, you know, if israel actually strikes back to prevent further killing, if they throw the first punch hamas did and started this war. and israel in israel stands up for itself. of course they should. that's what any decent human being would do to to protect their populations. but these people, i'm telling you, this squad, they hate jews. >> it's that simple. and their whole expression, you know, in front of two leaves office, they're in congress. she flies a palestinian flag next to an lgbtq flag, a pride flag. so nobody's explained to her that, you know, hamas and the palestinians, they would prosecute and persecute
11:35 pm
somebody because they are lgbtq. i mean, these people just don't understand the basis of reality, you know, and congressman crenshaw, there's certainly is no moral clarity. >> but it's clear that you have fellow members of congress, i guess you could say they are part of the hamas supporting caucus in in the house. >> is that a fair statement? >> yeah. let's not forget what what ilhan omar said just a few years ago when she showed up to congress and how she referred to the 911 hijackers as some people who did something. right. she's always going to downplay terrorism. she's always going to downplay anything from islamic extremism . >> and she's always going to vilify her own country, the united states, as an oppressor or israel as an oppressor. this is what they do, because there's there's two categories. you know, you can just be naive when you're calling for something like a cease fire in the midst of a situation like this.
11:36 pm
a lot of people are just naive. they don't understand what it takes, what is necessary to end evil. all right. they're not in the naive category. they have long been in this category of hamas apologist terrorism apologists. >> and it's sickening. it's sickening. i don't know how she keeps getting elected in country. i don't know how people look at that and say, oh, she has a point. you know, there's a moral point there. there's not. you have to extinguish hamas's operational capability from gaza. the israelis have no choice at this point. they have hit their 911 and they have no choice. do we wish that civilians didn't die? absolutely. which is why israelis, by the way, tell the civilians leave. >> they tell them exactly we're going to bomb, and then hamas actually stops the civilians from leaving. that's what's been going on. this is going to be ugly. >> this is going to absolutely be ugly. but it has to be done. you have to extinguish this threat just like we would if that threat was just out of just a few miles away from
11:37 pm
our home territory. >> all right. well said. last word. >> jason chaffetz. israel needs to do what it needs to do. and i'm glad the united states going to back them up. but the world needs to understand that the terrorism that is invoked on jews and israel has got to stop. they have a right to live. they have a right to exist. and the world better stand behind them. all right. dan crenshaw, jason chaffetz, thank you both. the house of representatives still has no speaker, but the important investigations that began under speaker mccarthy, they are continuing. house oversight committee chairman james comer has released new evidence today in his investigation into the biden family syndicate, their business dealings. and this is a bombshell. take a look at this. that is a check from jim biden. that is joe brother to joe for a whopping $200,000. and there's very check was written on the exact same day that jim allegedly got a quote
11:38 pm
from a failing hospital company for the exact same amount of money. we did reach out to the parties involved for comment. >> and shockingly, we didn't hear back. but clearly, this news is creating some panic inside the biden white house tonight. and one of biden's press underlings rushed to make sure that everybody knows the check clearly says was a loan repayment from jim, to joe. >> but if that's true, it unlocks a whole new host of questions. why did joe loan jim 200 grand in the first place? question two had a joe, admittedly one of the poorest members of the senate, a career public servant. how did he have and was able to how was he able to afford to give that amount of money to his brother? and why did jim need to be paid by someone else before he could repay joe? it would the details. house oversight and accountability committee chair james comer is with us. >> and by the way, correct me if i'm wrong and i'm jumping ahead, you have other new evidence that we expect
11:39 pm
next week that will show something similar. >> yeah, we've we found a lot of suspicious checks that the brother was involved in and joe was a beneficiary of. and we're going to talk about that as we move on. but what we're doing is we're tracing the money show and it's not just that they got a $200,000 payment that joe biden received, a $200,000. it's where the money came from. and the money came from jim, where he influence peddled to a company in the united states that he went and said that could help through his brother's contacts, get capital from from the middle east. so he convinces to give him $600,000 and they did it in increments. the last increment was $200,000. that $200,000 then went to jim biden's personal and it was a loan, according to the way joe biden deposit. and then he wrote on the same day a check to joe biden for
11:40 pm
a loan repayment. now they're the loan card a lot. remember the $250,000 wire that we identified three weeks ago that came from china to hunter biden that was addressed to joe biden's house. the white house. >> that was a loan, too. and, john, what you're going to be hearing out of the white house over the next few weeks is loan loan loan. >> and look, even if joe biden give his brother a loan, which i don't believe he did, the fact that his brother defrauded a company that is now bankrupt and all the creditors lost all their money that they invested in this or loan to this health care company. but joe biden got $200,000 from before they went bankrupt. all because jim biden was selling the brand, was selling the biden naming convince people to pay money in exchange favors from joe biden. >> wouldn't you have to have a record of when you gave the loan and when that bank record exists as well? have you been able to find
11:41 pm
that? well, we just announced the check today and we've asked the white house to produce documentation of the loan, the terms of the loan, and we also want to know from joe biden, was he aware when he took that $200,000 that it came from a company his brother defrauded in the name of joe biden? joe biden could come in and save the day through his contacts in the middle east, john. that's where this influence peddling scheme came. >> we've talked about china, romania, russia, ukraine. now talking about the middle east. we've talked about hunter biden. now we're on to jim biden. we've been following the money. we're going to continue to follow the money. >> but more and more suspicious activity is popping up everywhere to the tune of millions and millions of dollars from the biden family. and now we have evidence that joe biden benefited directly from this. if if his brother hadn't defrauded that company through the influence peddling scheme, he never could have paid joe biden back that $200,000, assuming joe biden really
11:42 pm
loaned him $200, which i'm not convinced that he did. >> would it be a fair assessment in the next couple of weeks there will be a amount of devastating evidence like this that proves that by following the money that everything joe biden said about his involvement in all of this is false. >> is that a fair statement? look, i think we continue to produce evidence. i think we've already produced a lot of evidence. >> but the media says, well, you got to have a payment to joe. well, here we go. here's the first payment to joe. stay tuned, john. stay tuned. >> all right. congressman james carville, we thank you this friday night. now straight ahead, we will take you inside the hamas tunnels as reports of a looming ground invasion continue to circulate and we'll talk to general david petraeus as we continue. stay with us on this busy news friday night. hi, i'm stacey and i've lost £60 on golo. >> i decided to try golo when

>> and reports tonight that a ground invasion by israel is imminent into gaza. they continue to circulate all night tonight and but what exactly would this ground war in gaza look like? hamas as a network of tunnels under gaza, which they claim a total of 300 miles and could complicate a ground operation? now, i have seen these tunnels firsthand. >> here is me inside one of them. take a look. i used to be at a contractor. look at the level of sophistication here. you've got these cement walls and blocks all the same size, all the same size, all built out, all pieced together. by the way, the construction overall, very solid, very. this isn't going anywhere. so they work their way all the way through. and it takes a year as we i mean, we estimate that the progress at least week. yeah, probably you have to have a lot of people working and a lot of money and a lot of digging to get this.
11:48 pm
yeah, this is cement that's incredibly valuable size in the strip that's going towards terror tunnels rather than anything else. >> unbelievable. and by the way, they do excavate about a hundred feet down, nearly 100 feet down to actually find them. and they have a network of these tunnels all throughout israel, from gaza into israel. why? and that, of course, is be used for infrastructure, for for hospitals, for schools. but no, they use of a terror tunnels. here with more on a potential ground, the author of conflict the evolution of warfare 1945 to ukraine, retired four star general david petraeus is with us. i always worry about ground campaigns. >> they are always very difficult and. i am of the mindset, general, that war the way we fight wars, especially with new military technology available, that we've got to fight them a little bit more differently. >> do you agree with that assessment?
11:49 pm
and what challenges do challenges do you see for the israeli army, the idf? >> no, i do agree with it very much, sean. and the idf will bring a number of tools, intelligence, surveillance assets, robotics, all kinds of enhancements. >> but at the end of the day, it is hard. >> imagine a more fiendishly difficult set of circumstances than the idf faces if they have to go into gaza city. and i fear that they have to do that. if the mission is to destroy hamas, they are literally going to have to go into every high rise, every floor room, cellar and tunnel, and clear them. >> and at the end of the day, there's only so much you can do with technology. there has to be someone at a certain point with a weapon who goes through that door. you might send a dog first, you might send something else through first. but again, this is very intensive in terms of soldiers. >> and of course, once you've cleared a building, you just leave it and go on to the next
11:50 pm
one. you actually have to leave it a sizable number of soldiers behind, because if you don't, the enemy will re infiltrate behind you, in this case, the hamas terrorists or the islamic terrorists will do that. and of course, there is the threat of being sworn armed by what look like civilians, but are actually, again, hamas, they don't wear uniforms, as you know. they hide within populations. they will use these more than 200 hostages as human shields. and if you get swarmed, you'll end up as a hostage as well. so, again, the challenges of this are enormous. this doesn't mean that they can't do it. i do believe that they can do that. but it's going to have to be done in a very methodical, careful and thoughtful way, because, of course, you're also trying to minimize any injury or loss to innocent civilians. at the end of the day hearts and minds do matter even in a situation like this, even following that horrific, barbaric attack that took place saturday, two weeks ago, is that is it a viable option
11:51 pm
to remove as many civilians as possible? and frankly obliterate the place so that it is uninhabitable for hamas in the future, considering over the years, tens and tens of thousands of rockets have been fired from that location into israel? >> i don't i don't think so, sean. it certainly is advisable. israel wisely is doing this. they are asking innocent civilians, directing them to leave this area. obviously, that's complicated because then you have hundreds of thousands of innocent palestinians crammed into southern the southern part of gaza. and of course, then you can have a humanitarian on your hand. but again, you're not going to get all them to leave. >> and by the way, again, you're going to have to rebuild this infrastructure at some point as well. and i think one of the big issues here is something we learned sometimes the hard way, say, during the fight to baghdad and toppling that regime i was a division
11:52 pm
commander at that time. and you got to have very rigorous post-conflict plans. the what then, are next? what is next? the day after plan and all the rest of that. >> and that is particularly difficult here given that the palestinian authority, which you would like to take in and administer, they understandably don't want to ride in on the backs of israeli tanks. they're discredited to some degree, as it is not that effective and supported by the palestinians even in the west bank. but you really need a palestinian authority of some kind supported by the gulf states and others with resources and perhaps even some others with some security forces, because you're going to have to have a counterinsurgency campaign when all this is done to make sure that hamas and islamic remnants come back in. >> they will try to do that even after they do clear and truly destroy hamas and the islamic state as terrorist entities. >> maybe gaza as we know it, needs to cease to exist,
11:53 pm
because as you rightly point out, hamas will or mixed in with the innocent general population. and that still remains a threat no matter what. >> anyway, general, good to see you again. it's been a long time. thank you. when we come, the war with israel is intensifying and the us and the rest of the world they are on high alert tonight for a potential terrorist act. senator tom cotton, he reacts when we come back. >> straight ahead. >> this is how it feels to do more with less asthma, thanks to dupixent, dupixent is not for sudden breathing problems. it's an add on treatment for specific types of moderate to severe asthma and can help improve lung function for better breathing in as little as two weeks. >> dupixent helps prevent asthma attacks and can even reduce or eliminate oral steroids. imagine that dupixent can cause

it's america's number one game. with today's means everything the best pregame, the best announcers the biggest game of the year penn ohio state it's big news saturday on fox. this is a very accurate front you can hear another explosion there a huge garage. the troops massed along the border as we watch and wait for the long anticipate ground operation to begin. this regional conflict is quickly. >> stay with fox news for continuing coverage. >> all right. now, despite the importance protecting our homeland right now, biden wants to send tens of billions to ukraine and hundreds of millions to gaza, which we all know is going to end up in the hands of hamas. but senator tom cotton is putting his foot down, saying that biden's aid package is d.o.a. on arrival. >> he joins us now with more. senator, is that 100% certain it's doa? >> sean, if i have anything to do with it, it will be dead
11:58 pm
on arrival. and i think that's the emerging position among republicans in the senate. you saw senator mcconnell today said the senate will work as we all to produce our own proposal. i think we need to support israel. we've got to control our southern border. obviously, we need to reinforce taiwan and we can provide military aid to ukraine. we can do all those things. but as you say, that's not what joe biden's proposals do. it provides three and a half billion dollars of potential so-called humanitarian to gaza ,which we know under current conditions is little more than resupply for hamas terrorists, or it provides billions of dollars to relocate illegal aliens into our country and put them up in hotels. addressing the symptoms of the border crisis, not the cause of it, say, abuse of the parole system or abuse of the asylum. so we need to undertake efforts to, say, support israel and close our southern border. what we don't need is joe biden's proposals, much of which is just a long standing democratic wish list. >> you know, the evidence that that the humanitarian assistance is never going
11:59 pm
to get to the people that need it, but get it in the hands of hamas. it's evidenced by the tunnels that i just showed. they have a network of them all all from gaza into israel. that was all money meant for infrastructure, school and hospitals. they didn't spend it. right. right. >> the past. what would make one think it's going to change now? >> well, of course it's not going to, sean. remember, when aid goes to gaza, it's not diverted by hamas. it's delivered to hamas. hamas is the governing entity of gaza. and of course, it uses all aid to fulfill its priorities. when it gets cash, it uses things like building tunnels. but even when it gets food and water, do you really think that goes to suffering orphans in gaza or does it goes to to the hamas terrorist fighters that need it to try to kill israeli soldiers once they enter gaza? and we heard a report today that administration actually pressured israel to allow that aid in, even though hamas had not released
12:00 am
any hostages. the israeli defense minister was asked, why would you allow aid in before hamas released hostages? and he said the americans insisted upon it. it's the exact same playbook. we've unfortunately seen in the past. and 2014, 2021, for instance, whenever a democratic administration starts to quietly put pressure on israel, the standards that we would never we would never accept on ourselves, we would never be expected to say, pay the electricity bill for al qaeda. we didn't provide humanitarian aid to germany or japan in to israel. >> shouldn't have to do that now. all right, senator cotton, arkansas, as always, thank you. unfortunately, that's all the time we have left this friday evening. thank you for being with us. please say dvr so you never miss an episode. live shows, audience shows, wednesday, thursday tickets are free. >> just go to hannity .com. we hope you'll join us. in the meantime let not your heart be troubled. why this friday night greg gutfeld standing by to put a smile on your face. >> he's next. have a great weekend. >> and this is a fox news.
