operation into the gaza strip behind me. the level of destruction we can see from this location is the northern part of the gaza strip, where hallies and hamas say there was a gun battle yesterday. hamas engaging israeli forces and israelis killed dozens of militants in buildings and tunnels. they are using artillery and airstrikes to destroy many positions. we have video showing the israeli forces operating inside gaza. israelis say that they hit over 600 targets, including weapons depots and staging ground for hamas. we are getting new drone videos taken showing destruction wiped from the map many neighborhoods

as israelis cordon off northern part of gaza focusing on one part of the strip where they say there is a tunnel system beneath gaza and number of different hamas positions. yesterday 24 aid trucks made it into the strip as two million civilians do need support, medicine and any food they can get you. saw images yesterday of palestinians raiding a warehouse and we expect humanitarian conditions to deteriorate. ramping up efforts inside gaza sending troops and pushing deeper into gaza city. >> carley: prime minister netanyahu is calling this second phase of the war. trey yingst, thank you so much. there is this at home.
