openly bragging about their crimes. that was one of the currents of all of this period that it wasn't real. people denying what they had done on october 7th. it is hard i think to have a winning piece of the terror attack in terms of this is the most horrific thing i have ever heard. now there is a report that a husband -- he was murdered. they baked their baby in the oven and kept the woman alive so that she could hear the screams of her child melting. a signature of the holocaust is obviously that they put jews in the oven. now that language is deserved that are talking about what happened in the russian airport reminiscent. we are heading back in a very, very dangerous direction. it is heartbreaking between cornell -- kids locked in the dining hall. jewish kids locked in the library. faculty is clearly not up to the task in terms of being able to deal with this. few exceptions.

the president of emory university was fantastic and quite declarative. it is an incredibly scary mo moment. whatever you think about karine jean-pierre, not how she says it all the time way that they came out today to say that president biden is meeting with jewish leaders and leaders of college campuses. they recognize that this is the problem. she made sure that she was not talking about islamophobia on campuses. this is about anti-semitism on campuses. there's a lot of discussion for people who want to amplify obviously that we should not have islamophobic attacks. no one wants that. what is going on with us is not about dehumanizing palestinians. if you listen to israelis talk about it, one of the women who was freed at the end of last week, her daughter did an interview and was talking about criticism they had gotten because her mother held the hand of the hamas soldier who had held her captive as she left bro

airport on the tarmac insisting that you get their passports to see if they are jewish, whether or not in europe there are stores now. i have seen that they say "no jews allowed." in the united states and our universities -- look, after covid, everything is ripe for this. after covid, we became very sensitive. we did everything we could in this country to make sure that we moved toward equity and inclusion. so that if there was any kind of, you know, discrimination against minorities, black, brown, lgbtq, whatever, that they would address it right away. but no one ever addresses discrimination against the jews. wire the jews so easily targeted? from the beginning of time, world war ii, and now. it's only going to get worse right now. do i think the white house is ready? absolutely not.

these schools -- my understanding is a lot of colleges have a policy that literally can get you thrown off campus if you engage in any kind of hateful behavior. specifically, i'm talking about columbia and nyu. where some of the worst stuff as happened. we learned this last week. there's only one way to do this. fullback support, not donate, hurt the graduates. make it clear to these people that they cannot engage in this anti-semitism. again, you can be pro-palestine. no problem. but when you are pro-hamas, that is where we have to draw the line. that is a terrorist organization. saturday night, i went into brooklyn. it took me three hours to get there. they are literally taking over, the people who hate this jews. >> 's is going in that country. it is not simmering down. >> if you want to see how

"collective punishment." you're going to be hearing that a lot this week. it's being targeted at israelis. they are unleashing collective punishment. it's a nonsense phrase. if anybody is guilty for what is happening, it is hamas. you can say the american citizens under biden are experiencing collective punishment. you have young girls who go by "they and them" supporting those who but eviscerate them in a heartbeat. it's amazing to see these so-called progressives the tolerant and caring siding with the most extreme, the most dogmatic, the most intolerant factions on earth. girls with nose rings and pink hair and agree with old bearded man in robes about what to do with the bad people. this message is scary because what it means is that contagion has spread from one generation to another. that means it is here to stay. it is here in america.

one of the things -- he talks about the polling numbers. with young people. why is your approval so low with young people? we have given them everything we want on student loans and climate change. they just don't know it. i think that is one of the things that shows there is this out of touch component where the young people can't afford the rent. the rent is too high. they are screaming that from the rooftops. the student loan is not going to fix the rent problem. i think also, there might just be disenchanted with the fact that they have all said he is just too old. that's not changing. it was very interesting today. he said that he has been told by other democrats to basically shut up and stop saying that joe biden might have trouble in his reelection. they don't want to actually say that the houses on fire. they want to pretend that it is not bear the the house is actually on fire. >> the problems are piling up

us? >> i should point out that the leader of iran gets a visa under all administrations. republican presidents have led him, and democratic presidents and let them come. there have been various protests but that's not some weakness on joe biden's front. i agree that this is definitely a crisis moment. i don't know if we are at 1979 levels. it is incredibly disheartening and tough to handle for everybody. i think that the focus of this interview was really on foreign policy work. 19 countries and met with leaders. i did think in terms of hard pushback, he wanted -- you're supposed to be low border czar. that is a complete disaster. joe biden is alive obviously. they need a smoother message about that. it is interesting to watch dean phillips who is the recently declared congressmen. trying to make a democratic primary out of this. he doesn't have anything to run on.

right before "friends" started, he gets into a jet ski accident and recovery gets hooked on vicodin. with such an addict that he was going to open houses in the l.a. area just to pretend that he was interested in buying the property. he would raid the medicine cabinets. he was spending $10,000 a day cash on pills. i think from season 4-6, he doesn't even remember it. it was the alcohol. it was the pills. have a narcotics. i feel terrible for him. you can just see in the last interview that he did how drugs especially the combination of alcohol and narcotics will physically destroy your body and then destroy your brain. sadly, he wasn't able to recover from that. >> they say that we won't know in a few months about the toxicology. you know, people i think i immediately jumped to come in most of been a relapse of some

sort. the thinking now is first of all, toxicology shouldn't take months. it should only take a few weeks. people start talking about the impact that hot tubs may have on an individual who has got some kind of hard problem or coronary issues. he had a lot of internal issues. when i think about him and i think about "friends" and the millennials who grew up with them, they were like the best friends of each and every one of them. i know that i was on the phone with my son saturday night. he was devastated. like your sister. never missed a show. i think this is the first famous person in their generation to die and signal mortality. it is like a family member. this is really, really having an impact on young people. >> sometimes people think if you are famous, everything is great.

acted. he appeared to have found peace and sobriety and also helping many other people reach sobriety. lifelong addiction is the status equalizer. it doesn't matter whether you are a movie star or bike messenger for the most important variable in your life will be addiction. it can take over anything. you always hear the tragic stories grew there's no front-page stories on a plane landing safely. you never hear about the recovery stories. you can kind of see what his solution was. it is a solution for a lot of people. maintaining sobriety is looking into that hole that you have which is a search for meaning. people tend to believe that drugs and alcohol can fill that hole until they realize it ca can't. whether you look at science or philosophy or spirituality or all of the above, you have to come to the conclusion that there is something greater than yourself to rappel this wolf out the door. in his case, he came in the service of others which leads to a higher power of your choosing.
