strongholds and tunnels as possible. forces continue to push forward, they are taking heavy losses, this week they lost 23 soldiers inside gaza. they have been ambushed by hamas to try to hold the forces off. the israelis are pushing forward air support, attack ep hel helicopters trying to target as many positions as possible. blinken is on the ground meeting. we expect the biden administration to call for a pause to let foreign citizens come out. this is taking place as the northern front -- slated to speak 3 p.m. beirut time9 a.m. eastern time and announce what

comes next on the northern front. i asked a spokesman with the israelis make of this speech and what they can expect, they say they are preparing for escalation in the north and have to be patient and wait for what comes next. israelis striking southern lebanon hoping to send a message to hezbollah to deter them from getting more involved in the fight. >> carley: russia wagner group will send air defenses to hezbollah. the idf says this war will take months, not weeks, but every update shows significant progress is being made in terms of number of hamas targets being taken out and idf encircled gaza city. where are we in this war in your estimation? >> trey: so the israelis are making progress inside gaza. the battles will get more difficult in urban areas.

hezbollah is deterred up to this point because they see the american war ships and understand israel has backing of the united states and a war would drag in the united states and help israel to destroy hezbollah, iran's biggest proxy in the region and reduce capabilities of the iranian military. israel has to be prepared for this to unravel into broader regional conflict. we don't know and israel doesn't know and have to make calculations understanding iran is playing with fire and one decision away from broader ground war. >> todd: it is one thing on one hand to have the white house rumors that they are trying to cobbel together this two-state solution again with many middle eastern arob countries as leaders in gaza and possibility based upon how today goes that maybe some your honor kos could be in a war against israel.

strongly keep our churches and businesses and schools open. going to eliminate kentucky's income tax. i'm the only candidate in race that says i'm going to eliminate kentucky's income tax. if you want more of your hard earned money in your wallet to pay for bidenomics, right now it's harder to buy groceries, it's harder to buy gas. it's more expensive to secure child care, let's eliminate your income tax. i have committed to doing that, making sure we have world class schools that are about reading, writing and math and aren't incubators for liberal and progressive ideas. we are going to win on november 7th. i'm confident of it. i think we are going to see polling today that demonstrates how confident i am in this race that we are going to win on november 7th. >> in the first debate governor beshear said you are overly partisan. having a governor who is too partisan is dangerous. what's your response to that? >> look, i'm standing up for kentucky values. what is dangerous is a governor who shut down our schools and
