>> kayleigh: president biden facing mounting pressure enormous backlash over his support of israel. the president's stance is dividing his own democratic party with many progressives and protesters demanding he call for a ceasefire. this is "outnumbered." i'm kayleigh mcenany, joining me is gerri willis, host of kennedy saves the world podcast, kennedy, heritage foundation's kara frederick and pete hegseth. we saw a massive anti-israel protest yesterday and protesters chanting from the river to the sea, an antisemitism slur. they accused president biden of supporting genocide. >> biden, biden, you can't hide.
9:02 am
you are supporting genocide. biden, biden, you can't hide. you are for genocide. biden, biden, you can't hide. you are funding genocide. >> kayleigh: stunning level of ignorance. president biden himself was heckled in new york yesterday. [screaming] ceasefire in gaza. >> boo. >> president biden: let her go. no. no, don't, let her -- it's okay. >> kayleigh: given the outrage on the streets and college campuses, it should come as no surprise the president's response has caused a rift among demp accurates. a new poll finds 46% of
9:03 am
democrats disapprove of handling of the war and many demand biden call for a ceasefire, israeli prime minister netanyahu made it crystal clear that won't happen. >> a ceasefire with hamas means surround to hamas and terror and the victory of the iran axis of terror. there won't be ceasefire without the release of israeli hostages, that will not happen. >> kayleigh: bring in idf lieutenant colonel peter lerner. he referenced specifically battle conditions on the ground, explain to viewers why these pauses account be so challenging from the perspective what is happening on the battlefield?
9:04 am
>> kayleigh, this is a huge challenge we're facing. when you want to conduct a humanitarian pause for any reason, if there is a battle ongoing, it is pretty hard to pause that, there is only one side that actually is willing to conduct any type of humanitarian pause. hamas, on part of this idea, obviously have no idea in safeguarding their own people. everything they do implies they are doing everything to put palestinians of gaza at risk. when we conduct a humanitarian pause, as we have done for today and yesterday, just potentially puts them at risk. our goal is to evacuate people from the combat zone in order to get them out of harm's way and hamas wants to keep them put, keep them in harm's way and jeopardize them even more. this is a war that we are determined to win. we are fighting it, i would say extensively close centered urban
9:05 am
warfare, confronting the enemy on the battleground and i would say advancing everyday a bit more and closing the noose around hamas neck. >> kaylee: you advanced to gaza city and found the military quarter right by al-shifa hospital. the goal of hamas is to up the civilian body count in gaza. what have you found militarily by that al-shifa hospital? >> so the military quarter is basically a compound with all of the military capabilities of hamas. their command and control center, rocket launchers, weapons manufacturing, all of the tools they had for their terrorism were in this compound. we killed around 50 of their terrorists in it, in our engagement with them temperature is just a skip and hop away from the al-shifa hospital.
9:06 am
we know and have revealed to fox and to others, the extent of how hamas is using al-shifa hospital and other hospitals for terrorist activities as bases of operation and i would say in contradiction to humanitarian law and definitely in contradiction to the laws of armed conflict. we are determined to destroy hamas and make sure they never ever wield the sword of death above our head again. they have to be banished from existence. >> kayleigh: i want to confirm they found a tunnel entrance underneath the bedroom of a child in northern gaza, is that correct? >> in more than one instance. >> kayleigh: unbelievable. lieutenant colonel, thank you for joining us today.
9:07 am
i want to underscore, underneath three child-sized beds, soldiers found a portal where monsters were hiding. >> pete: this is how they fight. they totally disregard -- not disregard, utilizing sensibility of the west to their advantage every turn. this is pure savagery, it is what they did on october 7 and how they are fighting now. what they are counting on is every college campus, everyone inside the administration, counting on drawing out people who call for pauses and call for ceasefire and play both sides-ism, they want the ceasefires and pauses to build international condemnation based on false construct to gain advantage on the ground.
9:08 am
so what bibi netanyahu needs to do, charge ahead as hard and fast as they can to destroy the enemy. >> kayleigh: kennedy, they are in enemy territory, idf. i was reading in 2014, soldier in gaza territory said we were fired upon all of the time, like fighting ghosts as they hunker down. pauses put the soldiers at great risk. >> kennedy: you haveieds and various explosives that have to be disarmed and detonated before the soldiers can come in and clear the street and make way for civilians to flee. this is what hamas wanted, that was the point of october 7, drawing idf into gaza to fight this war they have been preparing to fight in this way for as long as hamas has existed. that is what they have wanted to do. this is not accidental. they are not passive. hamas is not the victim here.
9:09 am
that is what is surprising to me about the pushback. this is the result of their intention, this is what they want to happen. it is gruesome and horrific and israeli lawmakers show raw footage of what happened on october 7 and in the days and weeks following, they passed out. some of them fainted, they were overcome, and offered anti-anxiety medication, it is savagery, the likes of which we cannot conceive of and we are dealing with organization like isis for decades. >> kayleigh: kara, we struck a warehouse in syria, doesn't appear iran hurt, we are up to 47 attacks now. >> kara: yeah and we sit here celebration of marine corps 247th birthday and observing
9:10 am
veterans' day, which is tomorrow and we have weak authoritarian proxies attacks u.s. troops and u.s. hostages still reportedly in gaza. this is a massive issue for the biden administration. we need robust responses or you will dishonor the service and sacrifice of men and women who served uniform for so many years, marines and every branch alone. >> kayleigh: president biden seems to have lost ability to deter. america has lost capacity to deter our enemies. >> gerri: what is shocking to me, i was here last night when protests were going on the streets of new york. new york city has been a huge support for the jewish people. what happened? who were the people on the streets? they are people encouraged by academia and the wrong messaging. when you hear what they are saying, it is disturbing to me.
9:11 am
i and all jewish friends are aghast at what is going on in new york city. which has been a place people could go to stay away from trouble and plagued by the things we're seeing in gaza right now. >> kayleigh: american higher education has failed our country, something pete knows about. president biden will come face-to-face with china president xi for high-stakes summit. with cars in middle east and ukraine and america and china watching. what can i do to make a better cotton crop? we believe that the best products are made in america and come fresh from the family farm. and produced under the most sustainable farming techniques. from our sheets to our blankets and quilts this is a product that can be passed on. it could be a family heirloom. go to red land cotton dot com and receive 20% off your order with code fox 20.
