we could see the first group of hostages released from gaza as soon as thursday and previous releases, this is how it worked. the hostages go to the rafah crossing and enter into egypt and be helicoptered to israel, taken to the hospital for evaluation and debriefed by israeli security about what they experienced and what they saw. back to you. >> todd: jeff paul with the latest on the hostage release. bring in former navy seal jonathan gilliam. a wonderful development. everybody wants release of hostages. there are reasons to be concerned from raising the price of future hostages to giving hamas time to reload whachl is your biggest worry with this deal? >> jonathan: biggest worry first and foremost, you can't trust anything hamas says. they are iran and when you speak

to hamas, you speak to iran and you can't trust any of them. that is the first problem. second problem, when israel pauses, it gives hamas the ability to relocate with wherever they are in gaza. it gives them time to move the rest of the hostages and this is something everybody needs to realize, when you make bargainas with bad guys to get hostages and they have more hostages, you may be causing more problems because you are losing leverage on the enemy and that is my worry. i'm happy they are getting 50 people out, that is 50 lives saved, but there is a massive amount of hostages there and incredible number of hamas fighters that are tactically going to use this five-day pause to their advantage. >> carley: absolutely, this deal would release one-fifth of the israeli hostages, the work continues.

>> todd: ice agents arresting illegal immigrant in martha's vineyard. a sex offender wanted by authorities in his home country of brazil after being sentenced for 14 years in prison for raping a 5-year-old child. new hampshire governor chris sununu joins me now. governor, while joe biden destroys the southern border, what are you doings a the governor of a northern border state to secure the northern border so that sickos like this do not get into our country? >> well, as we have discussed before, the northern border seen as many illegal immigrants come across in the last year as the last 10 years combined. there is a surge there. not like the southern border. still, hundreds of thousands of illegal crossings last year. the most notable statistic here more terrorists coming on the it northern border than southern border. we have lost a lot of our it funding. have been moved to the southern border. personnel moved away. when we asked to be replaced they wouldn't do it.

one name notably absent from that list. can anything stop donald trump from new hampshire at this point? >> without a doubt. we still have nine weeks to go before the first in the nation primary. folks will typically decide who they are going to vote for after thanksgiving. i think it will be a bit later, given the entire delayed nature of the '24 race. i think after new years a lot of folks will decide. i was at events with all three of those governors, they're all friends and hitting the trail hard. two notable points. number one, the majority of the folks at all of their events raised their hands to say they had never been at one of their events before. new voters and listeners to the conversation. i would estimate 20rbgs maybe at least 30% of the folks in the crowd were trump supporters. but they are looking for a potential alternative. even we all know polls say about a third of trump supporters would potentially go somewhere else. there is still a lot of game to play. i know it seems like it's been going on for arrested i don't. at the end of the day, most
