>> carley: trey yingst is live. happy thanksgiving to you. >> trey: happy thanksgiving. i hope you'll have time with loved ones. to the news on the ground in southern israel. the entire jewish state waiting with anticipation to see if the hostage deal will go forward temperature is expected to start in less than 24 hours and would include a four-day ceasefire. israelis say after the ceasefire is over, they will look for other hostages and destroy hamas leadership inside gaza. prime minister netanyahu saying i want to be clear, the war is continuing, the war is continuing. we will continue until we achieve all of our goals. so many families here across israel waiting for news about their loved ones. we expect 12 to 13 hostages to be released each and everyday as part of this deal. if the entire deal does go forward, talking about 50 women and children will be released

today and now we're hearing no sooner than friday, how should we interpret that, is it on shaky ground? >> trey: publicly both sides says this has something to do with logistics and a signature in doha. it is probably more complex than that, we don't have the information. hamas has gone back and forth and israelis have been clear about their conditions. not just hostages and ceasefire, there are smaller details, some involve aid entering the gaza strip, drones stopping over gaza and variety of other things. each detail will be being looed at close and just one of those could threaten the agreement. >> carley: the drone is a big deal, if israel doesn't have eyes over that portion of gaza, hamas could make moves and

endanger lives. thank you for joining us with the latest update. have a great day. >> todd: bring in special forces mike glover. i will ask you the same thing, your reaction to this delay? is this a minor hiccup or is the deal in serious jeopardy? >> it is very uncertain when you are dealing with terrorist organizations and negotiating. this being done by qatar is another part of the complexity. when i see this happening, i'm thankful in this case, 20 women and 30 children will potentially be released at 1-3 ratio to palestinians. these palestinians are not hamas terrorists mainly. there will be fragility to this agreement thchl is happening over a four-day period as long

as everybody sticks to the plan. >> carley: as long as everyone sticks to the plan and things are tenuous and that is concerning to families. they want to see their loved ones home as quickly as possible. if the hostages do come home, they will have a story to tell. they will be able to provide some level of intelligence. how important the eyewitness accounts? >> utmost importance. they will be checked medically and likely simultaneously be questioned about details of where they were held and all intelligence and information will be utilized to lend itself to operation. hamas and israeli side, they have clearly defined this doesn't mean a stop to the war, this is only the beginning. if we get through this, it is good, let's not hedge our bets

on it. this is hostage rescue and negotiation with terrorists. >> todd: does your gut tell you the hostages will be released tomorrow or do you fear another delay, mike? >> there is a lot of intentative for hamas. they are looking at a ceasefire and they are not allowed to fly drones over certain period of time. certainly israel can watch what is going on on the ground. it is in israel's best interest to allow this to happen. they lose nothing. these guys are boxed in, whether on top or underground in the tunnel system. i'm optimistic and i hope on thanksgiving here in the u.s., leading into tomorrow, that this is something that takes place and happens for the families. >> carley: last week reuters rep reported iran met with members of hamas.

they said, we will help you politically, we will not go into israel and help fight this war for you. there are so many ways you can interpret that, you can't believe anything iran says, how do you parse through that news? >> here is what you know personally, spending time in yemen with central intelligence agency and spending time abroad with the u.s. army. this is a proxy war for them, whether houthis, hezbollah or hamas, they don't need to get intimately involved. the iranian people and people of persia are good people. i know people from inner yoo, it is the government system and they don't want that to break down. they don't want a war with the u.s. if they could use it like they used against american servicemembers in iraq when they

you know, don't bust the balloons of macy's parade and make a fool of yourself. accept the fact that america is a great country. we have some great traditions, thanksgiving is one of our best. it's a terrific time to get together with family and friends. this person may not have a family that wants them or any friends that will claim them. but, find some. go to a waffle house today if all else fails but enjoy thanksgiving. enjoy this great country. and, if you hate america, get on a plane, take a oneway ticket. find some place you think you would like better and have a nice life. >> todd: that's the point that you just made, right? today is all about giving thanks. if these people aren't thankful for all that america gist them. try your hand at happiness from another country. nobody is stopping you. we will have no question. we will let you go on your merry way. but with regard to this word of colonization. you are hearing colon zation, decolon zation, nobody knows what it means.

do you think this is becoming the left's new everything's racist? >> well, it is. and it's stupid. just in a word, it's stupid. throughout all of human history, countries have invaded other countries. they have sometimes been at wars. often because they were attacked and then they it's part of human history and the movement we can look they brokessenned romans. the autumnmans the british yes the americans. i'm glad the economies happened. i'm kind of glad we have the united states of america. it's been the greatest experiment in human government since the beginning of time. i like it here. i like it a lot. i don't think it's something we ought to be ashamed of it's something we ought to be grateful for. today is a good day to do it. todd todd jumping off for your message. >> i'm thank. >> for my family.

thankful for a god knows all about me. in spite of what he knows he still loves me. i'm grateful for my dogs. i'm grateful for the wonderful country i live. in and, you know, i'm grateful that i have got a turkey in the smoker and a little bit later i will put one in the fryer and have a bunch of people at my house. i have been up since 2:00 getting the turkeys ready it's going to be a wonderful, wonderful day. >> todd: you have been been up since 2:00. my god, good for you. now that she is all busy questioning, will sarah huckabee sanders be making the famous pecan pie this holiday? >> do you know what that rascal did? she took off and went out of town at this thanksgiving. i'm ticked off at the arkansas governor i may write a letter to the editor and give a piece of my mind for her not being at our table this year. >> todd: will this slight lead to you vote for somebody else come 2026?
