the decision a criminal made so maybe i felt a little softer but not necessarily. there are some cases though if you want to talk about that. >> please tell us. >> as soon as you said it, it came back to my mind. it was the guy who was a predicate that means the second felony third felony he's in, he's got a mandatory minimum. you know what the guy did? he broke into a store and stole a teddy bear his son wanted to get i remember saying to myself, what am i doing here? did the man steal from the cash register, take everything to resell it? did he have no concern? no, he had concern for one person, his son and this da has it backwards and by the way, and if ii, i left the bench to run for da after i gave up for that.

that was a case that broke my heart because as a second felony offender, he had to serve time. state prison time for stealing a bear and the prosecutor sat in front of me, i think you're kidding. i remember, i could see him right in front of me now, i set this isn't going to fly. you go back and talk to your boss and cut down to a misdemeanor. our policy doesn't allow. i said i will call your boss and that's what it took so there are cases where your heart is broken for people who don't have, not what they want or need but what they want to do for someone else and that was the case you brought me back, that's probably 20 years ago. >> that is a lighter side of you because you are so -- you know. >> you mean male people? >> you take no prisoners when it comes to debate and that's from you in the aspect.
