senate. that bill has been collecting dust for over 200 days now. now i think democrats are realizing the border is a big issue. it's going to be the biggest issue facing biden and his attempts to be reelected. so for us we want to see many of the issues that we solved in the secure the border active for it we want to see it sent back over to us. i think funding for israel, hunting funding for ukraine are important. what's his securing the southern border for the numbers we have seen since october are devastating. >> you've got a negotiation here democrats. do you think the bulk of that is going to end up in the final package? and how much of it doesn't need to have in it to have a good amount of support in the house? >> i am confident we are going to get to a point after negotiations that we can get something that's passed and sent to the president. my concern is the one we have had or at least the one i have had over the last couple of months.

9:14 am
december. that is a new record. from october 1 until today at 760,000 people have crossed our southern border. people are threats to our national security. and again the administration is just turning their head. and now they want to have conversations and some people in mexico to think that's how to solve the problem. we know how to solve a problem. if it is their priority and if it is something they want to do than that is what we should be doing. you should not be having these conversations over and over again. the house republicans have done what they needed to do but we sent that bill over to the senate has been collecting dust on chuck schumer's desk since. rich: one of the cities, new york, seeing the migrants end up there. chicago is another one they're asking for should money the same as denver. do you think the city should be getting federal assistance? and if they do, should there be any strings attached? >> the issues we are facing at the southern border are fairly
