also call it a quote unquote living document meaning they can go back and revise it as necessary. i think that time is coming. i think they need to realize that -- this just isn't fair and that the numbers are starting to catch up we used to see this in rare events now seeing this on bike tours, rock climbing weight lifts and wrestling in tennis, swimming -- and these big name athletes who have so much at stake and they have the next generation at stake -- and i know some of them will and i know they don't agree with this, this unfairness in the competition. but for whatever reason like you said losing endorsement, being labeled a transphone they're not willing to say it on the record. >> podcast by the way is sideline sanity michelle is great you should check it out we appreciate you being on "fox & friends." >> good to see you will. thank you. coming up policies for thee but

not for me head of the heritage foundation scolding in davos he joins us next to explain. >> political elites tell average people on three or four their reality is x, in fact, when their reality is y.

one thing that davos you might say and it is liberal democracy so if the idea that that is swept under table is part of the idea hopefully that is not what he means. >> laugh public to describe that it is protecting democracy nothing personal but that's your part of the problem. political elites tell the average people on three or four or five issues that the reality is x, and when, in fact, reality is y. >> that was heritage foundation president kevin roberts holding nothing back as he schools global elitist gathered in davos. about who the real threats to our freedoms are -- kevin roberts joins us now with more of his message kevin, we were watching rachel and i both have the same question -- did they invite you did you crash the party how did you end up there? [laughter] >> oh, man -- they invited me i never would
5:53 am
have gone there and, in fact, invitation arrived at heritage pete i said you were playing joke and i've not been invited to world economic forum but glad i went because real quick point to know you and rachel not only agree with but you personify every time you're on tv you know that average person is really frustrated with what self-appointed elite tell us it is greatest privilege to speak on their behalf. >> no doubt so you were part of a title a panel entitled what to expect -- from a possible republican administration. so were you almost there like you were meant to be a zoo animal for those at davos who are republicans who might take power again? >> yeah. that's how they looked at me especially after the panel you know, as you might imagine there are a couple people until they agree with me so, in fact, it reminded me of when i was the one conservative christian professor in the entire college of arts and sciences at a major
5:54 am
university in the southwest. so i guess to some extent i've had a lot of experience with that kind of thing. and i kind of relish it because when we get the opportunity as y'all know -- to speak truth to power, and to do it eyeball to eyeball there's nothing more satisfying. will: what was the feedback response you got when you said hey you global elites you're out of touch. here are issues in america and why, you know, republicans are conservatives respond to what donald trump is saying -- what do they say? >> well, in the audience there were many audible gasps that i would dane to be there and say best thing we can do is compile a list of everything that's been proposed in davos make sure that the next president oppose every single one of them. but i will tell you -- and you know, i'm dead serious about that but i will tell you that the reaction that was most troubling to me and, in fact, it is really concerning to me is when i said that the chinese communist party is the number one adversary not just to the
5:55 am
americans but also to the free people around the world. there were people who look like they were having a meltdown. and europeans, i mean, this tells you how successful the insidious efforts of the ccp have been and look, if anything comes out of this experience last week in davos by what i said and mele of argentina said it is confronting communist party that can be the litnus test we can be relatively hopeful that we're going to reclaim this country. will: yeah do you think there's any self-awareness amongst these elites do you have those that are gasp with the chinese but when they look at internet problems or -- is there any or is it just all climate change all of the tile all global control, we're right you're wrong. be quiet. >> it is all climate change it is all gender ideology gasps about that point as well and

real thing it is all about they 2800 attend diez at davos keeping power that i concentrated in their hands and foisting ons us and to sum up i think they're unreformable. my faith tells me to be praying for them and hope they come around but ultimately in terms of political power like in the public square -- we figuratively have to be wielding a two by four with these people and figuratively hitting them behind eyes because that's what they do to us every day and if we do not in the political realm understand that this is political warfare, i mean that figuratively we're not playing the game. >> you went to the lions den and told the truth and we appreciate that. yes and we applaud as well. kevin roberts god bless you thank you. another hour let's do it again. see you in a second.
