today the grocery stores are barren. the people are hungry and poor and they went from the fourth richest country in the world to 156 behind his basket -- uzbekistan. starving dallas venezuelans break into the zoo's they used to visit to kill any animals. so what happened? a man named hugo chavez she got power and while the country was blessed with oil reserves there were cursed by socialist government that spent all of their money on social programs. massive inflation followed. instead of slowing down spending chavez took control of the food supply. with rampant inflation the government decided the way to handle that type of inflation was to control prices. the prices of things like groceries. but just like here the government is in particularly adept at any particular job. they then overpaid for

8% profit margin. she is suggesting the problem is you greedy food companies and the solution is to reduce your 1 and a half percent profit margin >> the problem is when the government gets in the way of the free market. they talk years ago to about 15-dollar wage minimum wage. at that time a warehouse worker might make nine dollars an hour. today is 18 to 20. and wages have gone up but the problem is they have cost. so the government when they get involved with these things pricing wages. when i was a kid if you had a lemonade stand and it cost you ten cents for the straw the product to go to the store to get it in the government comes along and says i want you to sell the lemonade for a penny before the be a lemonade stand and go home in the grocery business which does make 1 or 2%

1995, first night of fall and dawes county nebraska quite night summer is over college football is back. everyone is happy. maybe some people a little too heavy. tim also 31-year-old high school teacher kicks back some beers, got behind the wheel hit the gas. he was tipsy soon a cocktail him he sped up. he ripped 96 and 55 and when the joyride ended patrolman noticed alcohol walking through his 93 master. walz field the field sobriety test first then the breathalyzer he bluey 0.128 well above legal limit. he was and transported to a hospital for a blood test and then his worst nightmare a photo he will never forget. he is doctor dollars county jail charged with dui and speeding and months later pleaded guilty to reckless driving. a misdemeanour. he lost his license for 90 days and paid a fine.

tim hung up his headset and resigned in disgrace as coach of alliance high school and packed his bags refreshed are in minnesota. thomas has been running from his past but is come back to haunt him. first 10 years later tim had his eyes on congress and here's how his campaign said things went down that fall september night. the dui charge was dropped for a reason. it wasn't true. the trooper had him drive to the station and leave on his own after being at the station. they described as a whole big misunderstanding. tim had quote hearing issues from his time in the guard and couldn't hear the trooper during the sobriety test. so he never got a dui. he drove himself to the station and got book for speeding ticket and it was all the cops fault for not speaking loud enough. that's not what is in the police report. the cop who arrested him that night is speaking out and he saying anyone can get a dui.
