the other major issue is penetration of ukrainian forces in russia beyond their borders for the first time since world war ii looks like ukrainian forces just destroy the key bridge, moved 300 mi. into russian territory and vladimir putin is frozen. he freezes in times of crisis and it is happening again. how destabilizing is this penetration? >> it doesn't change things in the long run but it shakes things up in the near term. once vladimir putin's initial goal was to go to ukraine quickly, change the government and be in charge. after two years of fighting, ukraine has conducted itself unbelievably well, the russian forces have not done well but this is a war of attrition,
