obviously i owe him a lot when i was 14 getting him inspired in politics. cadence still very well. steve great. >> lawrence: he knows how to motivate the right crowd, strike the right tone get independents and some of the republicans that voted for him in the past to come back home. the problem is i'm not 14 anymore. and although he may have some of the cadence that is still there and inspirational speech, when it comes down to getting to the culprit of who is responsible for the bad economy, although he acknowledges the pain, he doesn't say joe biden is responsible for it. he doesn't say his party's world view has harmed a lot of americans. >> the second thing is although the obamas are very good on the stump, it also highlights that kamala harris does not have that and so she is going to be forced, when she finally does take the stage, on thursday, to have some type of glowing speech. and when you have all these people that are telling us that she is the next obama, well,

damn, she is going to have to deliver on thursday. i'm not sure she is going to be able to. >> brian: that's why bill clinton is going to come on tonight. is he a shadow of what he once was. have a little bit of a gap to forget how good barack obama was. ains i agree perspective michelle obama took the stage very powerful speaker. she told some beautiful reenactments about her mom's life and kamala's life. and what they put into raising their children, losing her mom, first time back in chicago since her mom's passing. as a woman i can relate to that i just lost my mom not too long ago, too. so yes, very powerful. i didn't hear anything about the issues that we care about as americans. why are grocery prices so expensive? why is our border open? and that's when voters are going to the polls, that's what they're thinking about, not, you know, we are sorry that she lost her mom and her powerful stories. how are they going to help me

and how are they going to benefit me? no visions and no solutions. did you notice -- and we are about to play some soundbites that president obama kept saying -- remember when he ran on hope and change. he couldn't say that kamala harris is going to change because she is already in office and has been for the last almost four years. but he did talk about hope. listen to this. answered slammed donald trump a lot. >> feel in this arena but spreading all across this country. we love a familiar feeling that's been buried too deep for far too long. you know what i'm talking about. it's the contagious power of hope. the anticipation, the, in the exhilaration of once again being on the cusp of a brighter day.

the former president. and if i'm the campaign, and i'm the former president, i don't take the bait. because, number one, as much as democrats want it to be so, the obamas aren't going to be on the ballot. and so i wouldn't get in the back and forth with them. he has to talk about the issues that matter to voters. and as crafty as the obamas were, last night in their speech, they didn't talk about fixing any of the problems for the american people. and they know joe biden is responsible for it. but they can't say that and that's where the speeches fell short. and so if i'm the trump administration, i'm talking about four years ago, look at the economy. four years ago, look at the border. four years ago, although they wanted to say that he was someone that you couldn't trust with a nuclear codes, there were no awardswars no, ukraine war gn with russia. there was nothing about hamas attacking israel. there was strength on the world

dnc, major speakers mentioned him 34 times. only six times on the economy. the border four times. inflation one time, actually i'm surprised they even mentioned it once. they didn't mention crime. not one single time, amongst the major speakers. >> ainsley: that doesn't include all of the speakers, some are saying they mentioned trump more than 100 times. >> brian: possibly the most impactful thing happened yesterday away from the spotlight,away from the stage. that is when r.f.k. jr.'s running mate nicole shanahan married a rich by and extremely rich herself says she is considering making a move. and they got to decide quickly. if they are going to stay in the race. and who they are going to endorse. listen. >> it's bobby's decision. i came into this supporting him wholeheartedly to win this election. i have to say there is only one party that has obstructed fair -- a fair election for us. and, unfortunately, it was the democratic party.

they have done everything they can including creating pacs to prevent us from being able to have ballot access. >> brian: he is indicating she might go for donald trump because she is so angry -- i couldn't support kamala harris. >> ainsley: kept them off the ballot. >> steve: they are considering doing that or forming a new party. the worry is amongst shanahan and kennedy, that apparently harris may win because r.f.k. jr. draws more voters from trump, and so if they get out, then the people will go to trump rather than. >> ainsley: draws more. >> brian: look at those numbers. >> lawrence: stunning. >> ainsley: draws more voters from trump or biden, right? >> brian: 41% of kennedy voters said they would back trump steve these are swing states. >> brian: 27% of kennedy voters said they would vote for harris. first you thought a democrat break from the democratic party would hurt democrats.

believe we voted democrat because that's what we was brought up to do, you know. did you go to the poll, they say vote democrat. vote democrat. but i don't really see no change that they say that they're doing. i think it's just, to me, a whole bunch of crap, to be honest. >> lawrence: definitely a shot across the bough when it comes to the democrats. this is supposed to be a core constituency. they also give republicans some advise, if you want to win their vote, this is how you do it. >> steve: indeed. >> there was a statistic out yesterday it looked at voters under the age of 50 and over the age of 50. i believe it was in the african-american community. the number almost doubled for the younger african-americans that are voting with the republican party. so, generation after generation it's changing because just like that man said, a lot of us voted based on how our parents, how we were raised or our grandparents. >> steve: getting to the point where we don't want to be taken for granted anymore. come on. you got my vote. how about doing something for us. >> brian: come to our city and

she stands for. and, in fact, when you look at a number of the big headlines right now, like the hill has an op-ed. harris is trying to run a no substance campaign. does she believe in anything? the "new york times." harris' campaign heavy on buzz. hold the details campaign. mark, as we get started with the balance of the campaign, starting on friday, can she get away with not say what she stands for? >> well, look, i think every presidential campaign should have three debates. should have policy papers. should see the press every two or three days, that's the way campaigns were when i ran and the press would go crazy if that wasn't the case. look, if you go on the harris website, it's really quite funny, there is nothing there but donate. so, yes. presidential campaigns need substance. these are incredibly important decision, we need voters who are informed about where everybody

inflation rate among the major economies. 14.5 million new jobs. >> we are se see steady and stae growth we have been talking about for some time. that's what we are seeing that's what the job numbers showed last week. >> ainsley: joining us now is co-host of "the big money show" on fox business brian brenberg. brian, what are we expecting today. >> brian: here is what happens, every month they estimate how many jobs we get. those are estimates. you probably notice each month you get a little revision to the previous month's number. now this right now you are going to get an entire revision to the last year's numbers. and that could mean we overstated our jobs by a million because the survey, the estimates were wrong. the problem is, politicians. >> ainsley: we really estimated them four times. >> and happens almost every month. but the point is, americans are always saying i don't feel as good as these jobs numbers are telling us, or the politicians are telling us.

and there's a reason for that your gut is probably right. the numbers we're getting month after month, are not quite right. even though the politicians want to tell you they are right. >> ainsley: how will this effect the reserve? how will it effect interest rates? >> that's the problem, the federal reserve says we look at the data to determine how to change interest rates, they are saying the data may have been way off. the economy might not be quite as strong as we thought. if this revision is like a negative 1 million, that might mean the federal reserve has to cut interest rates more and earlier than they thought. so you could see interest rates come down faster if, in fact, the jobs picture is weaker than we thought it was. >> some economists at goldman sachs expect a million. >> half a million to a million, yeah. >> ainsley: get those numbers at 10:00. barack obama was on stage at the dnc yesterday he is touting that same number that they continuously spout out. 15 million jobs that they have
