the families -- the families of the american hostages meet every few weeks in washington. we are heartened that both democratic and republican leaders demonstrate their bipartisan san support for our hostages being released. we have met with president biden and vice president harris numerous times at the white house. they're both working tirelessly for a hostage and cease-fire deal that will bring our precious children, mothers, fathers, spouses, grandparents, and grandchildren home and will stop the despair in gaza. [applause]

we are all deeply grateful to them. we're also profoundly thankful to you, the millions of people in the united states and all over the world to have been sending love, support, and strength to the hostage families. you have kept us breathing in a world without air. 4:55 pm
well, what got me was did you watch the footage of those, quote. demonstrations? we are talking about a handful of people. where are the tens of thousands of protesters who scared the democrats into believing that they had a major problem? this was -- i have always thought that if they did have big demonstrations, this was the sister soulijah moment for vice president harris. she could stand up and say we support israel. took her a while, harris when they had that demonstration in d.c. one of the most beautiful statues in the city outside of union station. desecrated. flags burned. it took her overnight and a couple more hours to respond to that and search like when is trump going to respond in okay, fair, why the delay? >> i think there is some mixed messaging within the party. how do you court the very small percentage of people as you mentioned not just because of the show of hands if you will from the protesters but also just across the country.
4:56 pm
how do you bring them into the party? you bump a president's schedule down, the sitting president on monday night to make room for aoc to put alexandria ocasio-cortez and others on the speaking bill. so i think that they are trying to figure out how do you associate those people. >> laura: without offending these people. >> without offending these people and keep the money flowing. all of it is tied to fundraising, too. when she left here while the obamas were on stage she was not here in wisconsin on that day, yesterday, trying to raise money, you know, the problem was there were so many protesters that, they interrupted her. >> laura: harris and karl, hold on a second. moments ago we just heard from the parents, young man being held hostage by hamas. meanwhile, protesters just outside the dnc, some of whom support hamas, that's where our own mike tobin is mike, where do you stand? >> sitting in a crowd of about 2 o 3000, they have been marching, playing within the rules. one of the things you will notice the police are on the

edges of the roof all the time. and mostly what the police are doing, they are keeping the people on the route, but also protecting them from traffic while they get out and march. what we see with the demonstration, a lot of chanting, a lot of marching, a lot of banging on drums. as far as what -- how this relates to october 7th. the opinion i have got from people here really are two different opinions. people who are sympathetic with the massacre of october 7th and a lot of people who deny it. they just don't believe what you have seen so far and all the evidence they say it's all fabricated by israel. one of the things can i show you here on the other side. this is part 578, where for the first time today the israeli demonstrators, jewish demonstrators and that's where have you this big showing of police to make sure that these pro-palestinian demonstrators didn't get into the park where you have the -- we had the israeli demonstrations. and the speech at that preplanned protest stage where they were speaking earlier today. other than that, you got people out on the street. and nobody is getting outside of

the rules like they were last night. one of the organizers here said as far as those tactics, with the punch of the flags, et cetera, they don't condemn them, laura? >> laura: well, mike, now they know what it is like to go up against a democrat machine. they decided to stay within the rules. mike, thank you. back with me now harris faulkner and karl rove. karl, a race that might be very close. we learned that tomorrow, it looks like robert f. kennedy jr. is going to drop out of the race. and endorse president trump. how could that play? >> well, we don't know exactly. we don't know who is left in the. >> laura: or monday? >> in the robert kennedy camp. my gut tells me it probably helps donald trump. because, the people who were for him because he was a kennedy, i think they began leaving after joe biden pulled out on the 21st. so, a small amount of help, but, as you know, in a race like this, i mean, think about it, did he have 10,000 followers in georgia? did he have 11,000 followers in arizona? and then how did they split?
4:59 pm
probably not just positive, but it could have an impact. >> laura: harris, again as karl pointed out a very tight race. is it going to be friday? we don't quite know. the reports are it would be friday. >> harris: in phoenix, arizona. i reached tout charlie kirk turning point u.s.a. is going to be hosting that conversation. it's potentially going to be happening there in arizona. that's interesting because trump will be there, of course. will he bring him on stage if he endorses him? that was a question that was asked of donald trump. and he said well, if he endorses me, yes, i would be honored to. a this in the last 24 to 36 hours has really come together. so it looks like friday. i would say this: all of the votes that he would have gotten, he is not on the ballot everywhere. but he would get 6% of the vote out there. it was trending against trump. and it was going to hurt him more than kamala harris. reports are that he went to kamala harris' campaign and said, can i join you? >> laura: karl, to my point i

think you said this a while ago, this is where they didn't pl it right with him. they should have had a vigorous debate. just get on stage and debate him. that hurt them. >> karl: also, he has a lot of antagonism with the democrats they have gone in and actively tried to keep him off the ballots. >> laura: democracy crowd. >> karl: democracy crowd we want to have free and open elections but keep robert kennedy from getting on the ballot. >> laura: thank you both so much. look who just wandered onto the set. >> hi, laura, how are you doing? >> laura: this is becoming a habit now. >> i think we should make it a duo. laura and waters. can you believe the democrats like country music this much? >> laura: no, they don't. >> jesse: camouflage football dads. what happened to democrats? >> kamala lull in the crowd. >> jesse: stevie wonder and a special [ ♪♪ ] >> jesse: fox news alert. democrats are dusting off bill clinton and nancy pelosi for night three of the
