800,000 on job numbers. that is bad in term s of credibility and makes you wonder what other things we do not know about the economy. the real problem, that is 800,000 people who administration said had jobs that don't have jobs right now. that creases people's misery. >> bill: this inflation report that came out, how are we to believe the numbers? 2.9%. one more thing, we watched speeches all week, it is dishonest to say donald trump is behind project 2025. it is not true. that is a flat out lie. >> all of his people are, though. >> bill: it is still teleprompter every night in that arena in chicago, why? >> so many of his closest advisers are behind project 2025. they openly talk about how they have talked to him about it,

>> protests were smaller than we had seen. they went on late into the night. pro-palestinian demonstrators were waiting for delegates as they left and chanted shame on you. >> shame on you. shame on you. >> a bit more aggressive and got up in people's face and shouting things like, do you like killing children, that is what you are voting for. protesters blocked traffic as folks were trying to leave. the driver had to say they supported palestine until police cl cleared that road. zeroed in on delegates at a dnc after-party and met with heavy police presence. at least one person was arrested. on monday, protesters broke through a security fence.

last night police had officers in riot gear as protesters gathered to kickoff the night. one of the main organizers of this week's protests for decades, democratic taken votes for granted and there will be consequences if that doesn't change. >> the whole world is watching and they will watch for three more months and if democrats and kamala harris don't do something or say something different, they're going to lose. >> we're getting an update from chicago police later on the arrest numbers for tz week. chicago police are getting a lot of praise for how well they handled this week. no major clashes to the democratic national convention.

common sense law that says you have to show that you are a citizen in order to vote in state and federal elections. supreme court kept state part saying states have authority in state elections. in federal elections, they do not have to require proof of citizenship. there is knowa act, federal law that says someone has to swear under penalty of perjury, they are a citizen, do not have to provide proof. arizona had taken it a step forward and said we need to verify if someone is saying we're a citizen, we will require them to provide proof. the supreme court court said not for now. >> dana: think about south carolina, they have requirement for id, right? how is that diver from arizona? >> where it is different, this was first law of its kind.

i asked our research team to look interest that, this is first law that required proof of citizenship, there is not a state with a law like this on the books. motivation behind the laws is voter fraud. there was a brief that pointed out senator franken in 2008 only won his senate race by 312 votes. proof of citizenship matters in close races. you would think this shouldn't be a partisan issue. we have seen that to be the case over and over again. >> dana: do you think there are other cases supreme court will have to weigh in on that will make a different? >> i don't think it will make a difference, i think the rnc is happy, it is a step in right direction requiring people to prove they are citizens when they vote and consistent with

showing idfor everything else in life. >> dana: 5-4 decision. >> that is before they reached merit of the case, this is just to allow that part to remain in place while this is litigated. >> dana: arkansas supreme court blocked abortion measure from being on the ballot in that state. there are abortion referendums in nevada and arizona, what happened in arkansas? >> a group of citizens tried to get an abortion amendment on the ballot so people they said so abortion rights would be enshrined within the state constitution saying up until 18 weeks one could have an abortion. in arkansas one can only have an abortion if it is to save the life of the mother. and arkansas supreme court said they had not properly gathered
