dallas police holding a press conference and chanley painter here with everything. >> dallas police confirming three officers shot in the line of duty around 10:00 p.m. last night. they say officers responding to an officer in distress call near oak cliff community center found dallas police officer shot in a march patrol car. the officers exchanged gunfire with armed suspect at the scene where two more officer shot. as of right now when in stable condition and one critical condition and one officer dead. after the shoot up the officer fled the scene with a high-speed chase and the pursuit ended in louisville. according to the police, when the suspect exited the vehicle, he had a long gun at the officers fired at the suspect killing him. the two officers reportedly with life-threatening injuries taken into separate hospitals while the officer who passed away taken to methodist hospital where this video shows dozens of officers including the armor

guard lining the entrance and paying respect to the fallen officer and what appears to be a family member escorted into the building. squad cars leaning up to with emergency lights flashing. the press briefing, the officers told the reporters, the officers are hurting and we asked for prayers this morning as the investigation continues, toddy. >> todd: keep us posted on developments throughout this hour. meantime, the election and kamala harris first official interview as the democrat nominee for president. doug was eager live in washington with one of the vice president's plan for a new way forward cocoa doug. >> we've been looking for policy details from the vice president but this was painting broad strokes in a first sitdown interview since becoming a candidate more than a month ago. >> one of my highest priorities is to do what we can to support and strength in the class.

based on time, that was an interesting answer she gave there. we found the recent kamala harris as avoided talking to the press nearly six weeks since essentially becoming the democrat party. you take away the teleprompter, a train wreck dumpster fire if we want to use a word that does not exist. and to impact from this interview, for starters she looked nervous and she filibustered a ton when she was answering these questions. dana bash decent questions, but she forgot this thing called a follow up when she was getting answers that deserved follow-ups clearly. the lies that kamala harris told here, taught a, emotional support animal next to her, tim walz, and awkward word, why was he there? the lies told were on baghdad bob type of level. for example, harris said she is

now not for banning fracking and she made it clear 2020 when she ran for president on a debate stage she was not preventing but she dropped out before she got to 2020. i can't find any proof of her being for fracking during that year of 2020. i haven't heard a thing about it since. what i do know the biden-harris administration day one in office band fracking on federal lands. that is a fact and so if she is for fracking, how did she allow that to happen and of course, dana bash did not bring that up. the big picture and we talked about this on the program, you take away the teleprompter and she was looking down i assume that notes and sounded like a human chornobyl. in the end, todd, a net negative and not net positive and cnn and msnbc said they would like it but they would say that no matter what. when you see the clips going viral, it will not be good and i

don't think you see her do a interview in the month of december and the debate becomes a big, big focus more than ever before. >> todd: it is an interesting answer because the optics did not jump out to do no power. there is a power vision one can give and i would argue kamala harris herself has given throughout the last 39 days in many instances. i don't know if she did it last night. getting back to the substance, u.s. joe, what would kamala harris do on day one? what would you do day one in the white house? >> there are a number of things but first and foremost, one of my highest priority is to do we can to support and strength in middle class. and i look at the aspirations, the goals, the ambitions of the american people, i think that people are ready for a new way forward.

question one how about this, you support taxing realized gains on capital gains. critics say that will take the stock market. explain why they are wrong. question two code you boys support sanctuary cities but why do you think they work? you support free health care for those who enter the country illegally and how does that get paid for and why should those here illegally received same benefits as those here in the country legally from a sanitation/education and policing perspective? question four, you support cash free billows of a crime when dripping citizens out of cities like new york, chicago, san francisco and why do you think cash bail laws are good for the community? question five, you support biological mints competing against biological women and why do you think that is a fairer advantage and a danger to female athletes and then can get pregnant? i would love questions like that and i hope she has asked those
