a story you won't see covered by the regime media, a different kind of kamala bounce. extreme views on hot button issues are bouncing members of her own party to the other side. for the second time this week, a democrat is ditching the democrat party and coming on the angle to explain why. >> in this capital behind me, i served as both the senate democratic caucus chair and senate majority leader. but today i say goodbye, i've had enough. i change my voting registration today as the sun was rising to

republican, which has got under donald trump, become the champion of working people. >> joining me now is the woman you just saw, gloria romero, former california state senate democrat leader. gloria, wow, what is your warning to the democrat party tonight? >> thank you, laura, there are so many more like me who have been disaffected democrats and we do not recognize this so-called party of democracy any longer. 14 million votes were simply thrown out in a primary that was already red from the beginning because the elites and the big party donors did not like the outcome. so we've just said enough, we are out of here. >> jesse: did you have dealings with kamala harris when you were a california senate leader? >> i did see her in my public safety committee which i chaired

he should say that to them. >> that's what i remember. when he first asked that in 2016, what do you have to lose? well here i am many years later finally saying goodbye, i would welcome donald trump. i'm not alone, there are some massive changes going on in the city of oakland, they are trying to recall the mayor, there's a massive crime problem, a lot of it due to unmitigated migration, and so i would hope that he would come. blue california maybe blue but people are ready to vote for change to make america great again and i take pride in saying that today. >> laura: gloria, that's a big one. former democrat senate leader here on the angle from california. thank you for speaking out, speaking truth to power, we appreciate it. that is it for us tonight, follow me on x and instagram, thank you for watching and jesse watters is next.
