he floored it and hit the brakes laughing while doing this. i went backwards and fractured my skull and the police in san francisco did a great job. they captured the guy before i was even in a hospital room. i had to id him. i am fine now, i get vertigo occasionally, no lasting injuries that affect my life. >> carley: the emotional toll must have been remarkable. the man who did this was in the country illegally and had been arrested several months earlier on drug charges. he was released on a program started by kamala harris, then d.a. of san francisco. that program would take people considered to be nonviolent

unbelievable situation impacting your district in el paso. there is a hotel there that suspected members of tren de aragua have taken over and police have responded to this hotel 700 times over the past two years. drug use, aggravated assault. disorderly conduct calls. terroristic threats. one case of indecency with a child. now the county is trying to sue to get this hotel shut down. whether the hotel is shut down or not, these people in our country, which seems like the much bigger issue here. >> this is a real issue. and i remind the viewers i represent two thirds of the texas-mexico border. 823 miles. i have seen this border crisis morph into something else. i have been sounding the alarm on tda these venezuelan gangs for over a year until we finally got them labeled as trans criminal organizations. we are just now starting to go after some of these bad actors. they are already here and embedded not only in communities along the border.

all throughout the country. and do you know what, carley, they are making america less safe. that is the part where so many of my constituents have had enough. we have to get our country back. and the way we do it is round up these people and we deport them. then we hold them. this is all because of biden and harris' administration allowing millions of people to come over that we don't know who they are, in some cases they are these very bad actors. >> carley: you know, congressman, one el paso police officer said that some of these people living in these hotels, the reason that they know they're members of tren de aragua are because they have the tattoos. so how do people get into this country when they have identifiers on their body? some of them could evade border patrol but we know because of the situation out in colorado that those people were presented themselves to border patrol and then were released into the u.s. >> two years ago i walked through one of the border patrol facilities in el paso. and i'm walking through with the

border patrol chief, and there's an individual there. he has got face tattoos. he has tear drops and hand tattoos, neck tattoos gives you the willies as soon as you see him. i ask the chief what is with this guy? he is with venezuela, tony, we don't know anything about him. you are going to release him? yes. they treat the other people in here they bully them. imagine what they are going to do when they get outside. so this problem is very real. it's all because of the administration. but we can't just throw rocks at them. we have got to actively go out. find these individuals, and deport them immediately to keep americans safe. it is a very real threat, more and more people -- we're hearing about the deaths. we're hearing about the murders. what about all the things we're not hearing about. they are terrorizing our communities. the only way we tackle this is if we use local, state, and federal law enforcements to create these task forces. i'm doing that in san antonio and other places.

spacex or mr. reaction history. there are four individuals inside the dragon capsule code named resilience part of the polar dawn mission. it is spacex, it is a private company. it is firmly backed by elon musk but it's also backed by private individuals, including a man in that capsule his name is jerrick isaacson, is he a billionaire funded this and other projects. two more projects. funded the development of the very special space suits they will be using. jerrick isaacman and sarah gillis spacex engineer will be leaving the spacecraft to some degree in the next minute. it should be happening now. you know how things go with space programs. they will be basically holding one hand or one foot on the spacecraft but will be emerging fully exposed to the vacuum of

space. and they will be doing it anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours. it's a bit variable right now. the spacecraft is right over the united states right now. they will be doing it in clear view of a lot of people down on the ground in the united states. this is part of a five-day program. they launched on monday. they will be coming back on saturday. they have gone to the heights. they have hit, oh, about 800 miles, 870 miles in one orbit. that's the farthest anyone has gone since the apollo missions to the moon. so they are shooting for the moon right now. or at least a little bit of space history. that's what we are waiting on now, guys. not quite yet. probably in the next coming minute. >> carley: it is remarkable. indeed. greg palkot. thanks so much.
