pennsylvania and donald trump on his own path to victory in the eastern time zone but let's bring in morrow at gillespie she is a blue strategies founder and principal. here we go, let's paint by numbers. what is trumps pathway to victory and what is behind a strategy? trucks both need to focus on pennsylvania that is going to be one of the biggest states for the campaign to win. both he and jd vance have been out with the different communities throughout the commonwealth of pennsylvania. and here's a strategy of into his campaign when he is a personally doing is very disjointed. they need to get him onboard because the campaign is trying to do is point out this new way forward for kamala harris and pointing out she's already there she's currently vice president she's been there for the last three and half years. unfortunately the present is going on tangents airing his grievances about the past, the

campaign would like him to focus on and if he can get back on message than ever stronger position in places like pennsylvania and north carolina and georgia. arthel: you say vice president harris is already there. what will get her behind the oval office? or in the oval office i should say is the boss lady. what is the method behind her strategy to get there? >> it is interest in pennsylvania before the debate they put up these ads that really are for people in philadelphia produce very clever, it was funny and kind of poking at the crowd sizes. poking at different things by using terms with regards to cheese sticks and soft pretzels. it was very clever it's a sign of the investment that her campaign is trying to put in younger voters. but also any more lighthearted happier fun campaign. with a trump has largely been

saying on rally stages and things of that nature is more of a negative out view. the discrepancy there is going to bring in some voters some may just not want to show up but i think for kamala harris the biggest thing we need to galvanize people to come out and vote for her who may be aren't typically democratic voters. maybe some the moderate republicans that is the effort she's making in michigan, wisconsin pennsylvania. but same kind of study is the best path forward continues to diverge and she stays steady she may skate through and when this thing. arthel: based on what you said you feel that at this point that kamala harris is better poised in the home stretch more than donald trump. what candidate could face expected and unexpected headwinds over the next 50 days? >> becomes a manner can she stay

the course and not have any major gas? that is one of the things we have seen for the debate. i don't like either side want to have there's a lot of risk involved have it by having another debate the trump campaign they saw her numbers went up after the debate so for them they can get him to stay on message and talk about the issues that actually matter to voters but to also get those voters to come out with them. i think with donald trump espousing different things i'm going to the far right and not honing in on the actual issues it's isolating people and not encouraging them to want to come out about. because after a certain port being told every thing is awful and we are all going just meant you no longer exist as a democracy if he is not president were hearing it from both sides. think with trump i don't say this to be cruel or anything of that nature just like he is it's getting old. and unfortunately i don't think people are excited about boating
