also joining us today, "fox & friends" first cohost carley shimkus, fox news contributor and fox news contributor tom shillue. in tel aviv with the latest. nights, this is like a second wave with different devices. >> that's absolutely right, harris, here we go again: more explosions across lebanon south of beirut. you mentioned yesterday, pagers exploded. today, handheld radios carried by members of hezbollah exploded. we did confirm with a top u.s. official that israel was behind yesterday's explosions. we have yet to confirm that israel is behind today's explosions, but in the past few minutes, we have learned according to lebanon's health ministry, nine people have been killed, 300 injured in this newest round of explosions. according to reuters, the radios were purchased by hezbollah five months ago, but the same time that the group purchased the pages that exploded yesterday.

you see the smoke in the distance. that's coming from a cell phone shop south of beirut. take a look at this next video. another explosion near a hezbollah funeral for the militants killed yesterday. in yesterday's explosions, they happened in several different locations across lebanon and syria. top u.s. official confirmed with fox news that israel was behind yesterday's pagers. people were killed, unfortunately including two children. nearly 3,000 others injured. the u.s. says it has no idea of the incident before him and is actively trying to learn more. here is the secretary of state antony blinken after meeting with egyptian leaders. speak of the united states did not know about nor was it involved these incidents. we're still gathering the information and the facts. >> harris, a top has below official, says the group is entering a new phase after these

"she was wonderful in the debate but he is a businessman and i think he sees what's going on." a young black women in wisconsin who wasn't going to vote said "i believe in his fax over her vision." cnn, i guarantee you they don't want to punish this. "nikki haley voters says she wants, here is to lift up a middle-class but how." a retired police officer from nevada. "i've been checking her website, you read it, there are no

specifics." i believe the american people will choose policy over platitudes. or policy is bidenomics. >> the where thing is, harris, she has experience she likes to remind us, so should that speak for itself and why does she refused to cite it or explain why she has changed her mind on things? you shouldn't just enter the scene, so why the dearth? >> it's an interesting bifurcation. she can either play dumb and say she didn't have anything to do with the policies and she has her own site, which is kind of what she is doing. she is saying "i have seen what we have been doing and i see a reason to make changes," or she can take full responsibility and say "i was part of what we did --" the border, so on and so forth -- "and i saw what we needed to do." those are your options. she was present for all of it and she can't deny that, so either she was done or incompetent. i think the choices are poor for her, but the truth is always valuable to the american people.

she has got 48 days left. which of the 48 days are we going to hear deep talk about her policies? >> for a lot of americans who think the answer is both of that options that harris provided, this is someone who has held a lot of these high-caliber officers, but it seems like she can even field the simple question asking for any types of experience are facts whatsoever. it is a vacuous vessel. >> and if you look at the local interview she did, that was a disaster. republicans should chop it up and put it all over the internet, but it's true. you look at her -- >> they have. [laughter] >> you look at these interviews or lack of them and say "she's not that bad. why isn't she just getting out there and giving it her best shot?" it's a combination of her not being good at this, and the other part is she has changed so many of her stances, and she doesn't want to reveal to the american people have far left she is. those two things are both working against her.

mom. if you are a democrat, you look at this and say "it's better than the off-the-cuff comments that get donald trump in trouble." a republican would say "at least donald trump is his own person. harris doesn't know who she is or what she stands for." what matters the most is the undecided voter. cnn has a headline that says harris isn't giving the specifics. some undecided voters say they want. this near times poll found that 28% of likely voters want to know more about kamala harris, only 9% say it about donald trump." elections are about giving people what they want, and right now that's detail. >> we are potentially on the eve because the program runs out soon, if biden doesn't step in. if 43% of our reports closed because of a huge strike and he could have stepped in comedy high-priceds go up even higher. that's right before an election. who was on whose side on the left? his decision not to get involved and to stop that strike is not going to help kamala harris. we will not hear her talk about it.

"trump says nothing was done wrong in charlottesville when neo-nazi's chanted jews will not replace us, and killed an innocent woman." that has been fact-checked by left wing snopes. nevertheless, trump was talking about the biased moderators during the presidential debate in that case. >> i think he corrected me 11 times. i don't think he had the right turks correct me. didn't correct her once, like on project 2025. i have no idea, nothing to do with me. he did not correct her. he knew that. charlottesville, nothing was done wrong. all you had to do was read my statement. one more sentence and you would have seen that. >> here is another one. "trump says he plans to bring back lots from 100-plus years ago." misleading. trump was referring to a specific law about defacing
