picture to the sheriff, a great sheriff, and sent the pictures to the sheriff's office. they got him in a high speed chase down the highway. who would do that? they said out of a thousand incidents with that ever happened. they said very rarely. she is very much a heroine. [applause] >> greg: it blows my mind how you take these events so, not lightly, but almost casually, i get more angry when my pant pocket gets caught on a doorknob. i get more angry about that then you get angry about getting shot at. how do you process that? >> mr. trump: number 1 i don't have a choice. what am i going to do? it was interesting, i was thinking a lot about it over the last period of time since butler and being president is a very dangerous job.

think more about your own mortality and what happens after you move on? >> mr. trump: not about mortality but i do think more about god because, okay,, butler was really, the greatest of all miracles are. if i am not looking, i mean a full turn exactly 90 degrees, i would not be here right now. your ratings would be a little bit lower, perhaps. we have to tell the story of how we first met. the ratings? remember that? one that you just play that. i just think about that because it was basically an immigration chart, we had the lowest numbers that we have ever had an immigration. and they very rarely use it, maybe 15, 20 percent, always on my left, and i was at the end of a speech. so now i say bring down the chart, right it at the very beginning, almost like the first sentence of the speech, bring down the chart because immigration is such a big thing now with our country being basically taken over by venezuela.

i think nine times, or 11 times, and the audience was absolutely, they are not crazy. and the real, i walked off and i said that was a great debate. i loved it. you have a lot of people watching, i guess we had 75 million people watching, something like that. you have to do well, you can't do badly. for instance biden did not do so well in the previous debate. i had to debates. we actually had to debates, you know. we had one against the man and he said -- they said that he is not doing, well, let's have another one, and if she isn't doing well, i wonder if they will put another one -- one in. they will get it right eventually. it is like a fighter. he knows more about fighting, but i love the fighting. dana white, all of those guys. >> while your history and boxing a second-to-none. >> mr. trump: more mike tyson fights than anybody. mike is great, they are all great. brilliant people. it is very hard thing to be a

they prefer to be on the hierarchy of fame, they want to be on top. i noticed a lot of these guys, that is an emotional response to the fact that you are bigger, and more well-known. does that make sense? >> mr. trump: i watch some of them like howard, that -- i watch the howard stern show as much as anybody, he was great at that time. and then he went woke. since he has gone woke his ratings have gone down and to sort of went anti-trump for a couple of reasons. but i was on his show a lot. he has a best of, did you ever see the best of? best of howard stern, i don't want to promote it necessarily. but i was there for just about all of them. the rest of, we had good shows. but he has changed and she does not do the ratings anymore. >> greg: he does not have to he is almost finished. kat, do you remember howard stern? >> no but you have been on every show. you have been on tv a lot.

the success. >> greg: i think it was your chemistry with the brett michaels. >> mr. trump: brett michaels had great character. we learned a lot about, dennis rodman was great. >> greg: he was fantastic. >> mr. trump: we had tremendous characters on the show. everybody was helped by being on "the apprentice" . but i wanted to do it. but the country has gone bad. now what they have done with the border, on the whole thing, they could have built an extra 200 miles. i don't much more than i said it was going to build and it worked. i had the mexican government giving us 28,000 troops. we had so many mexican troops they had no choice otherwise i said i would put tariffs on your cars that you stole. you know they stole 32% of our car industry which is not, we will get it back, and worry about it. but i really felt that i wanted to do it because we can make hour country, make america great again, such a great tag.

you. i have total support from evangelical christians and from other groups. i will tell you another group that does not vote, gun owners, they do not vote. the nra endorses me totally every time. they endorse me totally. but you look at the numbers i don't know what it is they are rebellious or something but evangelicals if they voted there would not be an election you would cancel that. if the gun owners voted, i mean the gun owners are just a mess of proportion. but they voted like it is 16% or something. if people, because they want to take your guns away, she wants to confiscate the gun she wants to take them away. she is now trying to get out of it. she had policies that she has now changed 14 policies about fracking she was totally against, for 15 years, fracking, now she comes out in favour of that. she says i do not want to take your guns. for 20 years she has wanted to take your guns and a short while ago she said i do not want to.
