>> jesse: fox news alerts. way finally got our hands on the mug shot of donald trump's second assassin. brian ruth sporting a sickening smirk hours after he dropped his rifle and scampered away from secret service gunfire. last night on long island, donald trump seemed genuinely humbled. >> as you know, three days ago there was yet another assassination attempt on my life it was the second one and eight weeks by a violent, radical left mobster. this evil would-be assassin got within a few hundred yards of where i stood but thankfully our outstanding secret service agents, and they are outstanding [cheering] >> spotted the barrel of his rifle in the bushes god has spared my life, it must have

been god thank you. not wants but twice. >> jesse: god was watching because new photos from inside the sniper's nest showed how close of a call this was. if trump had made it to the sixth green, this would've been his line of sight. that's an even easier shot than what thomas crookes had in butler. here's what ryan ruth dead up your quach this. >> this is likely where the suspect parked his car and he went into the bushes right there approaching where the suspect went into the bushes. this is the actual sight right here. this is the area where the suspect entered the bushes.
5:04 pm
this is the area, exact spot where the suspect who bag was found with a rifle. view onto the golf course. a flag right there. >> secret service know about this gaping hole, did nothing. whistle-blowers say agents should normally have been there. >> there are known vulnerabilities at that course. areas where you can get a clear line of sight from off the course of people playing the course. there's been protocol to station agents at these sites before trump would play the course. that didn't happen. it sounds as if they didn't even sweep the perimeter. this is really strange. >> jesse: the whole thing is strange and the more we look into this assassin's history, the stranger it gets. they don't have the typical resume of an assassin. his father was a chemist from a good college who had a long

career. the family was at church every sunday. 's two siblings went on to be a banker and a lawyer. ruth was described as a super citizen in the local paper. a local police organization named in the citizen of the year after he saved a woman from a. he told the paper and town he punched me, he was a pretty strong fellow, kind of short but strong. when he hit me i grabbed hold of him, he shook free from me and took off running. trumps assassin has gotten an unusual amount of publicity his entire life. local papers are even writing about the miracle and dream home renovations. today locals say ruth was living with debris everywhere and doors were nearly falling. can't believe anyone could have lived in that house one local realtors said. 's neighbour said his house was a zoo.
5:06 pm
>> he had a horse in the house. they were kind of weird but they didn't bother me, i didn't bother him. >> the whole horse in house where the living room is that. you put, hey, and there. >> jesse: how did the citizen of the year turn into an assassin living in a barn with more felonies than money in his bank account? ruth couldn't even afford child support. prime time looked into it and he was always behind on payments to his ex. she agreed to terminate the support due to his financial situation. ruth sold his house in north carolina for $174,000 and then was also living in an 800,000-dollar bungalow in hawaii. how does a man with no money for child support suddenly start living in a pricey house in

hawaii and afford flights to taiwan, türkiye, poland, ukraine periods neighbours say sometimes they wouldn't see him for three years. >> he was gone three years... it was cool with me. >> he posted something about a victoria's secret person or something and that's why. >> the house in hawaii ryan was living with is connected to his fiancee kathleen shea very. she worked at victoria's secret. she's engaged to this guy who all of a sudden flies to ukraine for months and she's fine with data?
5:08 pm
as we reported last night, ruth spent eight months sleeping in ukrainian military barracks and was rubbing elbows with cold-blooded killers. >> some of the people he claimed to be interacting with where some high-ranking military figures, and various people and what i recall would be best described as ukrainian mafia the people that had connections with local government to try to get things done or to help him further what seemed to me to be scams and cons. >> jesse: why would you leave your fiance who just lost her job at victoria's secret to fly to ukraine to recruit muslim militants to fight russia? if you have $68 in your bank account, how are you spending thousands on airfare? how are you feeding yourself in ukraine? everywhere he goes he gets pressed from the local papers to "the new york times" to
5:09 pm
"newsweek". every time he's arrested he gets a pass. he's been charged with 100 different counts and he's never served a day in jail, how is that possible? after spending months with ukrainian monsters and scaring everybody connected with him, he was flagged to the fbi, state department and homeland security. they all dropped the investigation. he shows up to the president's golf course in a car with stolen plates and a loaded rifle with a scratched off serial number and no one's curious if ryan ruth was sent here on a mission to kill. no one located his fiancee. the biden-harris administration is stonewalling. they won't let florida investigators into the crime scene. >> our investigators were rebuffed going to the fence line outside of trump international golf club in west palm beach. i they've taken the position that they don't want the state
5:10 pm
of florida to be involved in this. >> jesse: what are they hiding? how do we not know there's more of them out there? today an alaska man was charged for threatening six supreme court justices. he donated heavily to democrats. gets -- guess which six he was targeting? he then said we need mass assassinations. if you are corrupt, you are corrupt. this comes on the heels of another democrat who travelled across the country and showed up outside of cavanaugh's house with a gun and zip ties. he was arrested and we never heard another word about them. instead of investigating what's behind these assassination attempts, what's feeling them and how they are being put together, the media is blaming trump for people wanting to kill him. electing trump is more of a threat than armed assassins. >> do you think it's time for democrats to stop calling trump a threat to democracy? >> i think we should be clear that he is a threat.
5:11 pm
>> and the fact of the matter is that he is a threat to democracy >> do you think it's time for democrats to stop calling trump a threat to democracy? >> he is a threat. democrats have never endorsed a political violence but he will go to a rally and he will endorse it. this is the equivalent of playing with a loaded gun and then it backfiring on you. >> jesse: they are saying trumps playing russian roulette. no one really can do anything about it. we just found out who the real threat is. at trump transition team member and former presidential candidate tulsa gabbard joins us now. do you understand this guy going to ukraine? getting flagged at all of these agencies who look the other way. he shows up to the golf club with a rifle loaded with a scope , how does that make sense? >> it doesn't. there are so many questions.
5:12 pm
you just laid out a very clear picture of how many questions there are and how this was allowed to occur. this guys history, there was a whole slew of questions around the assassin and butler pennsylvania. i think it's a huge disservice to our democracy and the american people that still be haven't gotten a clear account of exactly what happened and what went down that led to the shooter almost taking president trumps life. it looks like they are slow rolling to hide the truth from the american people on this one. president trumps resilience and focus in the face of this unprecedented two attempts on his life where he has narrowly escaped both of them i think gives him great credit and at points to the kind of unflappable president and commander in chief we should all want. >> jesse: remember in in the

war on terror where you have a guy go to yemen, go to some hotbed and then fly back into the country, this country. he'd be on a watch list, he'd be flagged. you don't just go to these places and then come back and... this guy has been in ukraine hanging with mobsters in the ukrainian military, gun runners, recruiting muslims to fight. he did but no one said anything. how suspicious is that? >> they put me on a secret domestic terror watch list, how is this guy not put on a watch list? i served in our military. i was a member of congress for eight years. i was a candidate running for president and yet the harris biden administration decided to put me on a secret domestic terror watch list while this guys able to travel freely
5:14 pm
without federal marshals being assigned to surveillance him and his every move. that's really what cuts to the seriousness of what we are facing. i hope we get answers to all of these questions but the reality is that my former party and the mainstream media have spent years demonizing president trump i met with him for the first time in 2016, i was a member of congress on the committees. two weeks after he was elected i was invited to speak to him about a new direction of foreign policy, tried to block the neocons who were jockeying for position at that time. s soon as i walked out of trump tower in new york city, my phone blew up with outrage and being excoriated by fellow democrats at that time. here was their foremost complaint. how dare you meet with donald trump and humanize him? they've been dehumanizing him for years, turning him into this evil hitler like a caricature. should not be surprised to see
5:15 pm
their supporters take that seriously and take it upon themselves to try to take him out. that's how serious this is. >> jesse: this guy with weapons of mass destruction charges hanging out with eastern european gun dealers, not on a watch list at all. makes total sense in the biden-harris administration. thanks as always for joining us. johnny goes to the trump rally. >> kamala harris says you guys leave these rallies early out of boredom. what time are you leaving? >> i'm staying until the very end, if there's an after body -- after party i will be there to getting a brick and mortar in new york is not easy. chase ink has supported us from studio one to studio three. when you start small, you need some big help. and chase ink was that for me. earn up to 5% cash back on business essentials

>> jesse: if you want to be the president you have to connect with people. they said bill clinton can make you feel like you were the only one in the room.
5:21 pm
if you were the only one of the room he would make you feel something else. all presidents have the it factor. does kamala habit? we will let you be the judge. here she is leaving the stage where she just spent an hour with her base. >> jesse: that's the look of three people who realized she doesn't have it. compare that to the pop that trump got last night. >> choosing this insanity over sean hannity... [cheering and applause]
5:22 pm
>> jesse: there's an energy to donald trump that even cnn can't deny. >> he plays golf, he goes on podcasts, talks about zines and democrats haven't had a cool guy candidate in a while. with all due respect, tim walz appeals to another -- a lot of men. he also appeals to that... that guy in madison, wisconsin, is already going to vote democrat. >> he wants to be around donald trump. opera doesn't want to be around kamala she has to. kamala needs help. people like oprah want to help her. they need to help her. trump wants to help you because you needed. the rising tide lifts all boats and cnn assumes if you are living the american dream you
5:23 pm
only care about yourself. >> if you can afford a boat you not hurting so bad. >> nobody gave me [bleep]. i earned everything that i've got. i'm retired military and i'm successful and retired with boats, jet skis because i did it right. everybody has that chance. weather they choose or not, that's up to them. i want inflation to go down and interest rates to go back down want all of that but it covers everybody in the economy, not just me, it covers everybody. >> jesse: they admitted they don't care about the inflation that they caused because it's not affecting them personally. if cnn hosts have to pony up 20% more they could afford it they don't care that you can't afford it. they are saying they don't care about the rest of the country. they feel the same way about trump.
5:24 pm
even if he's better for the whole country, if he makes them annoyed by the things he says, they are willing to sacrifice the whole country just to spare their own feelings. most mature adults don't play that. >> what your most important issue? to. >> the economy, getting interest rates down and getting it to where we can afford to live in america. right now it's too expensive. >> if you can afford about, you were not hurting so bad because it costs a lot of money and it's a lot of upkeep. >> i earned everything that i've got. arm retired military, power plant and i'm successful and retired with boats, jet skis because i did it right. everybody has that chance. weather they choose or not, that's up to them. i want my money to go further. i want all of that but it covers everybody in the economy. not just me, not just the poor or rich. covers everybody.
5:25 pm
>> jesse: we didn't mean to play that twice. the main theme is joy but joy doesn't make you able to afford your dream house. kamala can't compete if she doesn't talk policy. and. >> black journalists today question kamala harris on policies but many of her answers lacked specifics. >> every single policy question she got she totally ignored and never answered her quiet that that she believes she does not have to answer to journalists who are asking pretty basic questions? >> jesse: hillary clinton has a different strategy. no policy, no problem speed >> i had more policy than anybody had. gave speeches about it. it was on our website. i rode a book about it.
5:26 pm
we have lots of policy. eye of the day it's not what caused people to vote for me or against me. i think the harris campaign knows that. >> more excuses from hillary p she lost and she has no idea why she thinks the russians stole the election and thinks america is sexist. his hillary saying she shouldn't even put out policy. the only reason people want to know is because she's a woman. >> in fact she's put out policies on her campaign website anybody who's interested can go read about them. it's a double standard and it's one that is partly because they are still getting to know her but also because they are still grappling with the idea of an eye really going to vote for a woman to be president and commander in chief? >> jesse: ned ryan.
5:27 pm
let's get to hillary and a second. tell me about the american dream , that woman wanted to know , you can afford a boat, why do you care that prices are up in america? >> thank you so much for that great question. i was raised as a middle-class kid. i have neighbours that love their lawns. i have dreams and hopes and aspirations. little fuzzy on those details. >> jesse: it's like they don't matter. if you ask you are sexist because he wouldn't ask those from a man. >> the fact of the matter is there are no details and that's for reason. first of all, she likes the substance and the ability to communicate and she does at a level of an elementary school kid p or car not talking sixth-grader. probably like third-grade with apologies apologies to all third-graders out there. if she didn't have the word
5:28 pm
salads about space and yellow buses and about being unburdened, do you really want her out there if you are a democrat explaining and find detailed her policies on the soviet style price controls that she wants? they want to keep her under wraps. this is the strategy. need to keep her in the background on these ideas you can keep that joy blitzkrieg going pierre gasly the american people that somehow kamala is a new fresh face instead of the incumbent vp whose administration has been destroying this country economically, on immigration and on every front. that's the play for the next 47 days. >> jesse: did you see any joy in the faces of those journalists that spent an hour with her? she left, no one clapped. >> it looked like a scene from parks and recreation. they thought that they had been played, the looks that they exchanged with each other.
5:29 pm
i felt like you should have played the parks and recreation music. >> jesse: thank you so much. >> thanks jesse. >> jesse: what's going on and springfield, ohio? a live report next.

5:32 pm
5:33 pm
5:34 pm
>> jesse: springfield is being overwhelmed by a haitian invasion and it's bringing the town to its knees. they are struggling to assimilate leading to deaths, displaced residents and surging insurance rates. they are diving headfirst into the welfare system. half of springfield haitians have enrolled in medicaid. the only person who seems to care about the americans in springfield is donald trump. >> this is a little beautiful town, no crime, no problem. 32,000 illegal immigrants come into the town, 32. they almost doubled their population in a period of a few
5:35 pm
weeks, can you believe it? they've got to get much tougher. arm going to go there in the next few weeks. you may never see me again but that's okay. whatever happened to trump, he never got out of springfield. we are getting him out of our country. they came here legally. we're getting them out. they'll be brought back to the country from which they came. >> reporter: while trump is tackling the issue head-on, they aren't interested in the town suffering. they are interested in winning the election. the left continues blaming trump for bomb threats but ohio governor says the threats have been hoaxes from overseas. if that's the case why are they letting foreigners interfere in our elections? foreign actors calling and bomb threats against american infrastructure. we find this out from a press conference? something's not adding up.
5:36 pm
residents have been complaining about the 15,000 haitians well before it caught trump's attention. the media didn't care until they could turn into the town's plight and into a political attack. >> they have pledged to carry out the largest deportation, a mass deportation, in american history. imagine what that would look like and what that would be. >> jesse: that's what americans want. majority of the country wants mass deportation of illegals and that's especially true in springfield. there was a town hall hosted there today. >> we have... have not set up a meeting like this. >> there are too many mass migrants here in this town, it's pushing people out of their homes. >> they do not know the culture, they do not know the language.
5:37 pm
what is happening to our kids is not fair. >> jesse: hello to everybody there in springfield, ohio,, we love you. what have you been hearing from the people of this great town today? >> the first thing i saw his people are hungry for open conversation here. it was supposed to be small, we expanded it. turns out you have -- it was about 2000. people are hungry to have their voices heard. they've been told to do is they are told for too long and people were hungry to be heard. where their moments of tension? yes there were a pure that everybody agree with what i had to say? no, they didn't. i think this is how we are going to get our country back which is we have to be able to talk to each other as citizens and the ultimate blame lies at the feet of kamala harris and joe biden who created these immigration
5:38 pm
policies that are called -- causing places like springfield to now suffer. at doesn't have to stay that way i the residents actually have a lot of good, and pragmatic ideas if people are willing to listen to them. >> jesse: what were some of the ideas? what exactly is the direction? >> some things are very pragmatic in terms of the driver's license. if you are above the age of 18, you don't have to go through a test. that would solve the traffic problems. people who came to this country under one dies, weather was illegally or temporary protected status, we have to enforce those norms, revive the rule of law. of big emphasis on empowering local officers to enforce the law as well. those are some of the practical things that came out of the night. one area where we found consensus which i thought was surprising as i also met with a group of haitians in town.
5:39 pm
i met with city officials beforehand and even with the group of community leaders, i said you know what, if somebody's going to be reliant on the welfare state or the entitlement state or government system is in immigrants, i don't think we should let them in. the thing that surprised me is not only did the people of the town hall agree but many migrants thought that was a fair criteria. that's one thing we can use in our policy going forward. if you're going to be part of the welfare state, you are not going to be able to come to this country legally and that's how we solve the problem. >> jesse: i have a lot of respect for you and... donald trump maybe visiting the town very soon. great talking to you. happy gei thursday --
