hillary vaughan for those questions in the hall. meanwhile from another hall in the capitol, new york congressman mike lawler whose bill is they are going to vote on today from statuary hall. >> good morning, steve, thanks for having me. it's great to have you too. this is one of the rare times in washington where this bill is going to pass and is bipartisan. >> no question. i introduced this bill in the aftermath of the first shooting attempt on president trump's life with congressman ritchie torres, a progressive democrat from the bronx. because we both recognize that in america elections should be determined at the ballot box and not by an aas sin's bullet. and the fact that the secret service did not give president trump the highest level of security in the aftermath of the first shooting is outrageous. so we introduced this bill. and obviously in the aftermath of the second shooting, we're going to vote on it.
